JADE'S POV

As I sat on my bed, my mind wandered to the peculiarities of my twin sister. We were as different as night and day. She had a flair for the dramatic, while I preferred to keep things simple. Her wardrobe choices were outlandish, and I couldn't fathom why she'd want to wear such garish outfits. It was a source of constant irritation for me. We were identical twins, but it was almost as if we weren't related at all.

I glanced around my surroundings, taking in the strange objects and trinkets that littered the room. I couldn't help but wonder how I ended up here, in this place filled with oddities and peculiarities. The pack, as they called themselves, was a tight-knit group of individuals who seemed to have their own way of doing things. It was almost as if they were a different species altogether.

As I sat there lost in thought, I saw Gigi pass by in a disheveled state. Curiosity piqued, I followed her to her room, hoping to find out what was wrong.

"What happened to you?" I asked, concerned.

"I went for training," she replied, her face etched with anger.

I knew better than to press her for details, but I couldn't help but wonder what kind of training would leave her looking like that.

"How did it go?" I asked tentatively.

"It was a disaster," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "The pack members humiliated me and made me look like a fool."

My heart sank as I listened to her recount her experience. It was clear that this pack was not a place for the faint of heart.

Suddenly, Gigi's tone shifted, and she asked me a question that caught me off guard.

"What's going on between Lycan Leo and Angel, the pack doctor?" she asked.

I was stunned. How had she found out so quickly? And what was she implying?

"That bastard," I muttered under my breath. "What is she doing here?" She has work to do and people to attend to. "She can't just waltz in here and disrupt everything."

Gigi's eyes widened, and I knew that I had said too much. But I couldn't help it. The mere mention of Angel's name made my blood boil.

As I sat there, lost in thought, I couldn't help but wonder what kind of world we lived in. a world where people were treated like slaves, forced to do the bidding of those in power. It was a cruel and unjust place, and I couldn't stand the thought of it.

I sat there in silence as Gigi recounted her tale of woe. Lycan Leo had kicked her to the ground because of Angel. I could see the pain in her eyes as she spoke, and my heart went out to her. But I didn't want to tell her the truth about Angel, not until Juliet entered the room.

Juliet was always the one with the inside scoop on everything. She was like the pack's gossip queen, always in the know about who was doing what to whom. So, when she walked in, I knew she would have something to say about Angel.

"That idiot called Angel is a mate selected by the pack elders to be Lycan Leo's Luna, but that is never going to happen," Juliet said with a dismissive wave of her hand.

I could see the shock on Gigi's face as the truth hit her. Angel was the chosen one, the one who was supposed to be Lycan Leo's mate. There was nothing she could do about it.

As Gigi sat there, trying to process the news, I couldn't help but wonder about Angel. Who was she, and why was she chosen to be the Luna of the pack? I knew I had to find out more, but I didn't want to upset Gigi any further.

But then Gigi dropped a bombshell of her own. "So that's why she dressed half-naked without undies?" she said, her voice dripping with disgust.

I was taken aback by her words. How did she know that Angel wasn't wearing underwear? And why was she dressed so provocatively in the first place?

As Gigi explained how she had seen Angel's private parts while she was lying on the ground, my mind started to race. Was Angel intentionally trying to seduce Lycan Leo? Was she using her body to manipulate him?

I couldn't help but feel angry at the thought. If Angel was indeed using her sexuality to get what she wanted, then she was no better than a common prostitute.

But then I realized that my anger was misplaced. Angel was not to blame for any of this. It was Lycan Leo who was at fault. He was the one who had kicked Gigi to the ground, and he was the one who was allowing Angel to manipulate him.

I turned to Gigi and took her hand. "Don't worry," I said. "You're stronger than you think." You'll get through this."

Gigi nodded, but I could tell that she was still hurting inside. I wanted to do something to help her and make her feel better. But I knew that there was nothing I could do. The only one who could help her was herself.

As I looked at Gigi's face, lost in thought, I couldn't help but wonder about the welfare of the pack. It was a world of violence and deceit, where the strong preyed on the weak and the weak were left to fend for themselves.

But even in this world of darkness, there was still hope. I hope that one day things will be different. One day, the pack would learn to live in peace and harmony with one another.

And maybe, just maybe, Gigi would find the happiness she deserved. a happiness that was not based on power or manipulation but on love and respect. a happiness that was true and everlasting.

Only time would tell. But for now, all I could do was be there for Gigi. to lend her a shoulder to cry on and to remind her that she was not alone. that she had friends who cared for her and who would always be there to support her no matter what.

Gigi had left the room to take a bath, but I decided to wait for her. There were things that I wanted to talk to her about, and I hoped that she would have the energy to listen. As I sat on the bed, I couldn't help but wonder if my brother had been bewitched by an angel.

It didn't make sense to me. My brother was a great Lycan, a leader feared by many neighboring packs. He was strong, powerful, and respected. Yet he had fallen for Angel, a cheap fool who didn't deserve his attention.

I couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. Maybe his enemies were using Angel to bring him down, but I knew that wouldn't happen in our pack. I was determined to keep her away from our pack house. She didn't belong here and never would.

I couldn't stand the thought of her forcing herself into our pack, pretending to be something she wasn't. She would always be a loser, no matter how hard she tried.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't even notice when Juliet entered the room. She was looking for a dress that she had left on the bed. I quickly composed myself and asked her if she had seen Gigi.

Juliet shook her head and said that she hadn't seen her since she left for her bath. I sighed and decided to wait a little longer. I didn't want to leave without talking to Gigi.

As we waited, I couldn't help but think about the past. Growing up as Lycans, we were taught to be strong and resilient. We were raised to be leaders and protect our pack at all costs.

But I couldn't help but wonder if my brother had forgotten those lessons. Had he been blinded by love? Or was there something more sinister at play?

I knew that I had to get to the bottom of it. I couldn't let my brother's foolishness put our pack in danger. I would do whatever it takes to protect our pack, even if it meant going against my own brother.

Juliet was still searching for her cloth; she turned to me and asked me if I had seen it.

"How will you keep something that is very important to you anyway and expect to meet it in a good condition?" I asked her sternly, my eyes darting from the dress to her and back again.

To my surprise, she didn't seem to be affected by my harsh tone. In fact, she was quite indignant in her response.

"The dress I kept on the bed has nothing to do with all this you are saying now; bring out that cloth before you will have what you are looking for," she spat at me, her fists clenched and ready for a fight.

I knew I didn't have time for this, so I reluctantly took her to the hidden spot where I had kept the cloth. As I walked back to Gigi, my mind couldn't help but ponder over her words.
