CHAPTER 30
Amelia chuckled as she felt her initial worry come to pass. She didn't know what had bothered her about it in the first place. “Well I like what you are wearing. It's lovely”. She said to her and she couldn't help but smile at her in response as she nodded her head at him in response.
“Well good evening ladies and gentlemen my name is Richard and I will be your host for today.” She heard it coming from the computer that was placed before them. She had almost forgotten the reason that they were here and the fact that it was a competition.
She looked towards the screen as it displayed a black stage. It had a few chairs that were displayed on it and she would see a grand set of people that were positioned around it in the back.” She looked over it with wonder as she gasped at the sight before her.
"Well for the first time ever today we will be getting the chance to see the luna trials. It had been a tradition of the kingdoms for a long rime and this will be the first time that it will be taking place in several centuries. We will be wanting the women who have been picked from the kingdoms to take part in the trials and with them being here we will be able to choose who your favorite able and get to know yh better. You can get to decide who gets an advantage in the trials and you will also be able to notice who will be in the bottom leagues and if it may come to it you will also have a chance to pull those that you dislike out of the games.” The man spoke.
Amelia felt slightly nervous as he felt a small nervous smile come over her features. She was pulled out of her thoughts when they heard the sound of a knock being placed on the door. They turned towards it and watched as it was pulled ippen. A man walked into the room as he loomed over them. “Today we are set to start and we will be starting off with the air kingdom. The ladies that are picked from there should line up now.” The man said. Amelia turned towards Nora and she watched as she gave her a grin.
“I guess that i wj be going first. Wish me kudcl. I want to fo and get it out of the way anyway.” She said to her with a shirt on her shoulders.
She gave her a light squeeze of her habe before nodding her head at her after a moment. She wanted her to be strong and for a moment she wished that she could be like her. That she could exude the same level of confidence or one similar to it.
She weighed as they were lined up and they were led towards the door before they were pulled through. There were four girls in tomtal that were taken from each pack and made it sixteen girls in total. They were taken from random packs within the kingdoms and it was then she had come to learn that her being chosen by the Alpha wasn't something that she could have said was predicted but rather it was something that they could have avoided.
As they left she let out a sigh from her lips as she turned her attention back towards the tv. “Well as you can tell ladies and gentlemen the games are set to begin and we will be starting with our first contestant ashley girl.” He spiked and she watched as loud claps filled the room. She found herself distracted as she was barely paying attention to the screen.
“Well hello Ashley I see you are from the momad colony of the air kingdom. So why do you want to be part of the trials and what was it that pushed you so I want to be part of this extraordinary journey”. He asked and she watched as she seemed to think it over deeply before a smile formed on her face.
“Well who wouldn't want to be the luna of the greatest kingdom ever. I have always wanted to rule. You have the strength, the charisma as well as the training for it and I know I can win.” She said and Amelia heard as a few cheers rang through the room. She ran her fingers and she felt slightly nervous.
“Well that is quite an interesting take. I can see you definitely have the confidence.” He said and she heard as the crowd chuckled. “Now tell us about yourself. What is it that you bring to the table. Why do you think you are the right fit and why should we choose you?" he asked her with curiosity in his words. Amelia gulped as she listened to him as well.
She did want to know the answer too. She wanted to know what it was that she was going against and what it was that she had that it seemed as though the other girls did not.
“Well i am beautiful rhat is for one. And i have the best dress out of all of the others. They wouldn't dare to think that they stood any chance against me. I am the blueprint and they know that nothing comes better than the original.`` She chuckled.
The room fell into a silence and Amelia widened her eyes as well. She couldn't believe that she had said that. She knew that she for one could never have the confidence to say sich out loud.
“Well that was definitely something. Thank you for informing us. I think that we can have the next girl come in now.” He said as she was ushered off the stage. There were a few boos that followed.
Roze watched the next few girls as they made their own way across the stage and she had to admit that Nora said pretty well. She had the confidence and it was clear that she was well aware of what ahe was doing. She found herself proud of what she was able to do and she couldn't be more proud of her.
“And up next we have the Earth kingdom”. The speaker said as he pushed the rest of the girls from the air kingdom off the stage. Amelia felt her heart race as she was pushed up to her feet and she felt a sense of panic come over her as she joined the lune behind Becca.
Becca looked back at her with a grin as she said, “try not to embarrass yourself.”
