Chapter 220 Elara's POV

Chapter 220 Elara's POV

I released the chains slightly. "But taking revenge won't give you those things. Destroying what I have won't heal what you lost."

"Then what will? What is supposed to make this better?"

"Being part of something belonging somewhere. Having a family who actually wants you."

"Your pack doesn't want me, they are terrified of me."

"Because you've been attacking them. Killing rogues sowing fear. But what if you stopped? What if you joined us instead? Become part of the family you were denied?"

"As what? Your charity case? Your broken twin you're fixing out of guilt?"

"As my sister. My equal. My twin deserves a place in this pack as much as I do."

Nyx's expression cracked. Tears formed in those black eyes. "Why would you want me? After everything I've done. Everything I've said."

"Because you are family because we are supposed to be together because the prophecy says united we can save everyone. And I believe that. I believe we're stronger together than apart."

"I don't know how to be part of a family. Erebus taught me to be a weapon, a killer. That is all I know."

"Then we will teach you something different. Kaden, Damian, Kira,  Kara, Adrian. All of us will show you what family means. What belonging feels like what it's like to be wanted."

I released the chains completely and left myself vulnerable, trusting her not to attack.

Nyx stood there shaking. Tears streamed down her face. "I'm scared. What if I can't do it? What if the shadow is all I am?"

"Shadow isn't evil, it is just the absence of light. And light can't exist without shadow. We need each other to balance each other and complete each other."

"The prophecy."

"Says we are either salvation or destruction. I choose salvation. Will you choose it with me?"

She was silent for a long moment then she collapsed and fell to her knees sobbing.

I went to her and pulled her into my arms. Held my twin sister for the first time in fifteen years.

"I'm sorry," She cried.

"I'm sorry for everything about the attacks. The fear. The hatred I just wanted to hurt you the way I had been hurt."

"I know it is okay, it is going to be okay."

"How can you forgive me so easily?"

"Because you are my sister. And sisters forgive each other, that is what family does."

We stayed there for a long time with two identical women holding each other. Crying together. Beginning the healing that should have started fifteen years ago.

Finally, Nyx pulled back. "If I come back with you. If I join your pack. What happened to me? Do I get punished for the rogues I killed?"

"We will figure it out together.
Kaden is fair. He will understand once he knows your full story."

"And the pack? They think I'm a monster."

"Then we will show them you are not. Show them you're family. My twin sister deserves a second chance."

"I don't deserve anything."

"Yes, you do. You deserve everything you were denied. Home, family, love, safety belong to all of it."

We walked back to the pack house together. Side by side. Twin sisters finally united.

The guards saw us approaching and immediately went on alert. Two Elaras, two identical women walking together.

"Stand down," I called.

"This is Nyx. My twin sister's family let us pass."

They hesitated but obeyed and we entered the pack house to find Kaden in the main hall. He had been alerted that I was missing and was organizing search parties.

"Elara! Where have you been-" He stopped when he saw Nyx. Tensed ready for a fight.

"It's okay, she is with me, she is joining the pack."

"What?"

"Nyx is my sister. My twin. She deserves to be part of this family. I'm asking you to give her a chance please."

Kaden looked between us. I saw the doubt. The uncertainty and the fear that this was a trick.

Then Damian appeared. And Kira. And Marcus. All the people I trusted most.

"Everyone, this is Nyx. My identical twin sister. She was abandoned when we were babies, raised by rogues trained by Erebus.”

“She has done things she regrets, made choices born from pain and abandonment. But she is family. And I'm asking all of you to give her a chance to belong."

Then Kira stepped forward. "I was held captive for fifteen years tortured and became someone I didn't recognize. If this pack could accept me after everything I became, they can accept her."

Damian nodded. "Everyone deserves a second chance. Everyone deserves family."

Marcus was more hesitant. "The rogues she killed-"

"We're attacking our pack," I said.

"She was defending territory she saw as hers. Protecting her twin in the only way she knew how. It was wrong but understandable given her circumstances."

Kaden walked slowly toward Nyx. She stood her ground, chin up, refusing to show fear.

"Do you swear to serve this pack? To protect it instead of harm it? To be loyal to your sister and to the family she has built?"

Nyx looked at me. I nodded encouragingly.

"I swear. I will protect this pack to protect my sister. Be the family member I was denied the chance to be."

Kaden extended his hand. "Then welcome to Blue Moon Pack, Nyx. Welcome home."

Nyx took his hand, tears forming again. "Thank you, thank you for giving me a chance."

Word spread quickly. Pack members gathered. Starting whispering, trying to understand how there were two Lunas now.

I addressed them all. "This is Nyx. My twin sister. We were separated at birth by a cruel tradition and a misunderstood prophecy.”

“She has been alone her whole life now she is here. She is family and I'm asking all of you to welcome her the way you welcomed me."

There was hesitation. Fear. Uncertainty.

Then Kara stepped forward with Adrian in her arms. "Another aunt for Adrian. He can never have too many people who love him."

Adrian reached for Nyx. "Mama?"

"No, sweetie. This is Aunt Nyx. She looks like Mama, but she's different. She's family."

Nyx took Adrian carefully. Looked at the baby with wonder. "He's beautiful."

"He's your nephew, your family. Everyone here is your family now if you want them to be."

"I do. I want my family to belong. I want to be part of something good instead of something dark."

We held a ceremony that night. Officially welcoming Nyx into the pack. Kaden marked her as a pack member. Damian examined her to ensure she was healthy. Kira helped her find quarters. Kara showed her around.

And I stayed by her side holding her hand. Making sure she knew she wasn't alone anymore.

The prophecy had spoken of salvation or destruction. Of twin sisters united we chose salvation. The chosen family chose healing over hatred.

The crescent mark on my shoulder glowed brightly. And for the first time, I noticed a mark appearing on Nyx's shoulder too. Not a crescent, a new moon, the complement to my blessing.

Together, we were complete. Light and shadow. Day and night. Two halves of a whole finally reunited.

The pack that had lost so much finally gained something precious. Not just one Luna, but two sisters who would protect them together.

Kaden put his arms around both of us. "My mate and her twin. Our pack just got twice as strong."

Nyx smiled. A real smile. Genuine happiness I'd never seen on her face before. "I have a family, I finally have a family."

"You always had family," I corrected. "You just couldn't find us. But we're together now and nothing will separate us again."

"Nothing," She agreed.

And I knew it was true whatever challenges came. Whatever enemies threatened. Whatever trials we faced.

We would face them together. Twin sisters. Light and shadow united at last.

The prophecy's salvation was fulfilled not through destruction. But through love. Through forgiveness. Through choosing family over revenge.

This was our happy ending. Hard-won. Paid for with tears and pain and years of separation.

And it was perfect.
