Chapter 337

Chapter 337
Isabella's POV

The moment Gabriel pushed open the double doors, bright sunlight flooded in, temporarily blinding me. Once my eyes adjusted to the light, I heard thunderous cheers around me. Below, the space was packed with people—hundreds, perhaps thousands of eyes looking up at us, like an ocean of expectation.

I held Olivia tightly in my arms, suddenly overwhelmed by the weight of this moment. The past few months had been a roller coaster ride. The media had constantly questioned my ability as Luna, especially after I killed Vernon in front of the council building.

But I had always kept a low profile, focusing only on what I believed was right—fighting for those who couldn't speak for themselves. Gradually, people began to believe in my sincerity and recognized my efforts.

Now, standing beside my family, facing the gaze of the entire city, I was nearly overwhelmed by a wave of emotion.

Gabriel gently guided us toward the edge of the balcony, his presence making me feel incredibly secure. When we came fully into view, the cheers rose again.

"Look at them." I whispered, my heart filled with awe.

"They're here for Olivia." Gabriel's voice was full of pride.

Suddenly someone in the crowd shouted: "Olivia!" Soon, the name echoed throughout the air, rising and falling in waves.

I turned to Gabriel in surprise, "How do they already know her name?"

He just shrugged, a playful smile at the corner of his mouth.

My heart raced as I gently lifted Olivia higher, allowing the citizens of Silver Creek City to glimpse their newborn princess. After a brief silence, applause and cheers erupted again like a tidal wave, seeming to shake the very foundations of the building.

"She's beautiful!" "She has the Alpha's eyes!" "What a blessing to see her!"

Hearing these blessings, my eyes grew moist. Sharing my daughter's birth with an entire city was an experience both public and deeply private.

Sarah quietly came to my side, her eyes sparkling with joy. "Remember when you worried she wouldn't be as welcomed as Lucian? You can put that fear to rest now."

I nodded, trying to swallow the lump in my throat. "Lucian didn't have anything like this when he was born."

"Speaking of your son..." Sarah gestured for me to look toward Gabriel and Lucian.

Following her gaze, I saw Gabriel holding Lucian, and my little boy was happily waving to the crowd below. Gabriel caught my eye and smiled, raising his own hand to join his son in greeting everyone.

Seeing father and son standing together, even though Lucian was still small, their confidence and demeanor were so similar that my heart filled with tenderness.

Looking down at Olivia, I noticed she had opened her eyes, seemingly attracted by the surrounding noise.

"Look at you," I said softly, lifting her a little higher, "Those people down there are all your subjects, little one. They're all welcoming you to this world."

Olivia let out a tiny sigh and buried her face against me, as if already exhausted by this warm welcome. For a child born just hours ago, this day was truly extraordinary.

A few minutes later, I exchanged a glance with Gabriel, nodding slightly to indicate it was time to go back. He immediately understood, bending down to place a gentle kiss on my forehead.

We gave the crowd one final wave before turning to go back inside. As the door closed behind us, the outside clamor gradually faded away, replaced by our own tranquility.

Sarah stretched, glancing at the door. "I should go."

"I'm not leaving," Ryan said, walking toward the balcony doors, "I want to enjoy being the center of attention a little longer."

Sarah rolled her eyes, "Didn't you get enough attention as a child?"

"What do you think?" Ryan dramatically spread his hands, "After Gabriel was born, all the spotlight was on him. My childhood was full of shadows."

Gabriel shook his head helplessly.

"That's not true," William interjected, "Your mother gave you plenty of love and attention."

As we walked through the corridor toward our private quarters, I looked down at Olivia in my arms and said softly: "I already love you so much." Then I reached out to ruffle Lucian's hair, "And you, my little prince, more than anything in this world."

"What about me?" Gabriel pretended to be hurt, "Where do I rank on this family's love chart?"

"Oh, we don't need you anymore," I teased him, "My babies are enough now."

"I don't believe that." he laughed, one arm around me, careful not to disturb Olivia.

Sarah called from behind us: "Izzy, if you need anything, I'm just down the hall, day or night."

"Thank you, Sarah," I said gratefully, "We should be fine tonight, but it's reassuring to know you're nearby."

Once inside our private suite, I couldn't hide the smile on my face. The reality of our family of four had finally truly taken root.

"You look happy." Gabriel observed gently, closing the door.

"Excited and tired," I admitted, "Can you help look after Lucian? I need to prepare to feed Olivia."

Gabriel's expression softened, "Our family is growing, just as we've always hoped."

"Yes." I leaned against him, quietly enjoying his warmth.

Our tender moment was quickly interrupted by Lucian tugging at Gabriel's pant leg.

"Someone's getting jealous," I laughed, removing the small crown from Lucian's head, "You'll have to get used to sharing us with your sister, little man."

I walked into the closet, retrieving a newborn sleeper and sleeping bag. Just as I was about to return, Olivia began to cry.

"I know, I know," I comforted her while quickly changing her into soft garments, "Food's coming right up, baby."

After changing, I put on comfortable nursing clothes. When I returned to the room, I saw Gabriel talking with kitchen staff, thanking them for delivering a food cart.

"Is that for Lucian?" I asked, noticing his favorite foods neatly arranged on plates.

"Some of it is for you," Gabriel gently reminded me, "You haven't really eaten since before the delivery."

I blinked, only then realizing I had forgotten to eat. "I'll eat after I feed her."

I leaned back against the pillows and began nursing Olivia. Gabriel handed Lucian a slice of apple, then pushed the food cart beside me.

"You knew I would forget to eat, didn't you?" I smiled helplessly.

"I'm guessing you'll forget a lot this week," he teased, "Good thing you have me."

Gabriel placed Lucian's high chair in the corner of the room, close to me. "Do you think Olivia will keep him awake at night?" I worried.

Just as I was about to continue discussing the children's schedules, Gabriel's expression suddenly turned serious.

"Isabella," he interrupted my train of thought, his gaze intense, "I need you to tell me in detail exactly what happened between you and the Dark God."

"Gabriel, can't we just..."

"This has been bothering me," his eyes were full of concern and longing, "Please tell me the whole truth."

I sighed, understanding his anxiety. If our positions were reversed, I would want to know too. I took a deep breath, preparing to honestly recount that strange encounter to him.
