The Alpha's Forbidden Color-Eyed Mate

Cryus kissed my lips. I didn't know how to describe the feeling. I'm thirsty now. What's wrong with me? I never had this feeling before. "You're in heat," my wolf Val's voice echoed in my head. God. I knew adult werewolves went through heat, but I didn't expect it to hit so suddenly. If I didn't get control soon, I'd completely lose it. I looked up at him and saw his eyes filled with the same desire. "Go take a cold shower," he said, his voice rough against my ear. But my body wouldn't listen anymore. I only wanted to feel my mate again. *** I'm Maeve, a Callisto wolf with color-changing eyes who always dreamed of true love. But one day, I suddenly discovered my boyfriend cheating. In a moment of impulse, I kissed a stranger, who turned out to be my fated mate and the son of the tyrant who once hunted Callisto wolves like me. As our forbidden bond grows stronger, will Cyrus reject their mate bond? Or will he break his vow never to follow in his father's footsteps by loving a Callisto wolf?
