Chapter 25 Another Day
Elena’s POV
The kiss made me feel breathless.
I woke up and Liam was beside me, he looked so peaceful when he was sleeping. Looking at him now, I noticed he had really long lashes.
God I was jealous, how could a man be so beautiful.
I smiled because I knew he was mine.I was about to stand up, when his hand pulled me close.
“Where do you think you are going?” he murmured.
“Nowhere,” I said as I moved closer to him.
He kissed my neck and I laughed.
He looked at me. “What’s funny,”
I laughed again. “Nothing, it's just that, it’s really ticklish.”
He kissed my neck again. “Stop it,” I tried to run away but he held me close.
When I thought I could not laugh anymore he stopped.
“We need to get ready before the others start looking for us,” I said after I stopped laughing.“Okay,”
“Liam, I have something to ask,” I said, playing with my hands.
“Yes little mate,”
“In Silver lake pack, they only let me complete high school.
I was thinking about starting school again and trying for college.”
He was quiet, I wondered if he was angry or didn’t like what I said.
“I know that some much is happening now, but maybe—”
“If you want to, I can make arrangements but it will be somewhere close, not too far,” He said.
I felt so happy I thought I would burst. “Thank you so much,”I ran to hug him, wrapping my legs round his waist.
“Elena please get down, I don’t think I can control myself for long,” he groaned.
I flushed. “Oh, I’m sorry,” I came down immediately, pulling my dress down.
We cleaned the place and headed back to the pack house.
“I hope you guys had a fun night,” Scott joked as he walked up to us.
“We didn’t, I didn’t, I don’t know what you are talking about,” I knew I was blushing.
“Leave her alone, Scott,” Clara walked over to hug me.
“I can smell him all over you,” She whispered in my ear.
“It’s not like that.”
“I think you all have work to do today,”
Liam said, his playful face gone now.“Oh, yes we do,”
Scott left almost running as he did.Liam gets a call from Josh about something important, so he has to leave me.
I turn to Clara. “So what are we doing today?”
She puts her arm around my shoulder.
“Today we are going to introduce you to the training members.”
“I like that.”
We get to the training field where many wolves are working out or fighting.“Listen up everyone,” Clara says and it gets everyone looking at us.
“Some of you know her, she’s the newest member of our pack and my friend. Her name is Elena Stone and from today she will be a member of our squad.”
They all nod their heads and give warm smiles, some even pat my back.
I find myself smiling knowing that in Silver lake, I would have never dreamt of such a thing.
I would probably be having to deal with Rose bitch ass always in my way and getting me into trouble.
Clara offers to train me.
“I noticed something that day you were training with Sarah, how did you do that? You saw her moves coming,” Clara looked at me curiously.
“I don’t think I know exactly what you are talking about. I just wanted to finally land a punch on her and I did.”
“And I think it’s really cool and everything but it was really quick, are you sure you’ve never trained before?”
I shake my head. “No, if they even saw me looking at them when they were training, they would have beaten the hell out of me,” I muttered.
Clara gives me a sad look but then smiles. “Then I guess you just have raw talents.”
“Okay, ready to fight?” Clara looked excited now.
“Hell yes.” We trained for hours, actually Clara whips my ass for hours.
It was just like this with Sarah, I could not land a single punch and I was about to fall to the ground from tiredness.
“Come on Elena, where’s that girl that fought Sarah?”
“I’m so tired Clara, can we stop?” I bent down as I tried to catch my breath.
“We go again and then we will stop, I promise.”
I get up and prepare for Clara’s attack, she always attacks with her right hand, so I prepare for that.
She throws her right hand and I smile blocking it but then her left hand comes out of nowhere and hits my ribs.
She didn’t use much force but it still hurts. She comes and me again and then I feel it, that rush again.
I can see all her movements easily now, she comes at me again trying to punch me and I block it, coming up with my own punch that she also sees coming and dodges.
We keep going like that until Clara blacks out for a moment and my fist hits her in the face and she falls to the ground.
Shit. “I’m sorry Clara,” I give her my hand, helping her to stand up.
“Don’t worry, it’s not your fault. It’s Liam’s.”She dusts her trousers and starts heading out.
She turns to look at me. “Aren’t you coming?”
I look at her confused. “For what?”
“Oh I forgot, you can’t link, Liam wants everyone to gather at the main hall, he wants to make an announcement.”
I ran to meet her, thinking about what exactly Liam wanted to tell the pack.
