Chapter 34 34

Chapter 34 34
“I’m gonna enjoy her first,” he said, his grin twisted and wild.

“Are you a virgin?” the normal-looking one asked suddenly.

Sofía’s throat closed up.

Her tongue felt thick and useless in her mouth.

The color drained from her face before she could stop it.

“Fuck… she is,” the bald man muttered as he stepped closer.

She limped backward until her spine hit the cold edge of the kitchen island.

Tears flooded her eyes, blurring everything.

“Is she dumb? Can’t talk?” the one with the scorpion tattoo sneered.

“I’ll go first and you’ll find out,” the pierced man hissed.

Every nerve in her body screamed.

The bald man kicked the TV hard.

It crashed to the floor with a violent smack.

Sofía gasped.

Cristian took two long strides forward, invading her space.

The stench of him hit her strong and sickening.

Alcohol. Smoke. Something rotten beneath it all.

His knuckles brushed along her cheek.

She flinched violently.

The touch burned.

There were no sparks.

No confusing warmth.

Nothing like what she felt when Mr. Ruiz touched her.

This was pure disgust.

Pure horror.

“D-don’t,” she whispered, forcing strength into her shaking voice.

But how could she be brave against four predators?

She’d escaped one monster only to fall into the hands of four more.

Why was this happening to her?

“She talks,” the scorpion man chuckled.

“God, she’s fucking hot,” Cristian murmured.

Her tears slid down as her gaze met his brown eyes.

The cruel smile on his face made her stomach twist violently.

His fingers brushed a lock of her hair.

Instinct took over.

She slapped his hand away.

Behind them, the scorpion man walked to the window and slowly pulled the curtains shut.

“Feisty,” Cristian rasped.

Suddenly he grabbed her arm hard, fingers digging painfully into her skin.

“Keep denying me and I’ll make you regret it,” he snarled before shoving her back.

She clutched her arm, rubbing it desperately.

“I-I’ll call the p-police,” she stuttered.

Even she knew how useless it sounded.

“I’m Cristian,” he smirked. “Go ahead and tell them my name.”

Then his smile darkened.

“But you gotta be alive to do that.”

He laughed loudly as her tears spilled freely.

They were going to kill her.

The bald man stepped forward, reaching for her

“Back off, Rafael,” Cristian snapped. “I’m first.”

Fear swallowed her whole.

Without thinking, she shoved Cristian with all her strength.

He stumbled back in surprise.

She turned and tried to run for the door.

Her limp made it impossible.

Three of them burst out laughing.

Cristian didn’t.

Rage twisted his face.

He grabbed her hair from behind.

Pain exploded across her scalp.

“I was gonna take you to the room first,” he hissed close to her ear. “But looks like you want an audience.”

She screamed as he yanked her backward.

“Let go!”

She struggled wildly

Then she was slapped hard.

Her body crashed to the floor.

The left side of her face went numb.

A metallic taste filled her mouth.

When she touched her lip, blood smeared across her fingers.

“Shut the fuck up, bitch,” he growled.

Grabbing her waist, he flipped her onto her back and hovered over her.

Terror surged through her veins.

“HELP! SOMEONE HELP!”

Another slap landed, her head snapping sideways against the floor.

Blood oozed out.

Dizziness washed over her.

But she fought.

She felt him tugging at her shirt

Something inside her snapped.

With sudden strength, she jammed both thumbs into his eyes.

He screamed and reeled back.

“You fucking whore!”

She tried to crawl away

Hands grabbed her.

“No! Let me go!”

Rafael seized her wrists and pinned them above her head.

Her body stiffened in horror.

Cristian climbed back on top of her.

His grip crushed her chin as he forced her to look at him.

“I’m gonna tear you apart,” he snarled before lowering his face toward her neck.

“Please… stop… don’t please!” she sobbed, kicking desperately.

The normal guy rushed forward and pressed her legs down.

She was trapped.

Completely.

Her cries turned broken and frantic.

Her heart pounded so hard it hurt.

She was nothing but prey

a helpless lamb surrounded by hyenas.

“P-please,” she begged. “I b-beg you… stop…”

Cristian’s hands slid from her waist up toward her ribs.

She wanted to die.

Death would be kinder than this.

She couldn’t survive this again.

Not again.

“I’m next,” the scorpion man said lazily from the couch.

Her eyes flew to him.

He was holding up his phone.

Recording.

“STOP!” she screamed at the top of her lungs.

No one cared.

No one was coming.

She was alone.

Why was God doing this to her?

Her eyes squeezed shut when filthy hands pressed against her chest.

If they left her alive…

She would end it herself.

“S-stop… please…” she cried, twisting in pain.

The man holding her legs pressed harder on her injured ankle.

She barely felt it anymore.

“Rip her clothes already,” the scorpion man hissed into the camera.

“NO! PLEASE!”

Her scream echoed

Then

The door burst open with a violent bang.

Sofía’s tear-filled eyes snapped toward the entrance.

Green eyes met hers.

Familiar.

Burning with rage.

And somewhere deep within that fury

She felt safe..
