Chapter 27 27
Her heart hammered wildly, far faster than normal, while her entire body trembled with fear. The memory of his hands on her breasts of him watching her undress sent her thoughts spiraling.
Sofía stepped beneath the stream of water, letting it rinse the soap from her skin. In a rush, she slipped on her panties first. She was just reaching for her bra when a harsh bang on the door startled her.
She quickly wrapped the towel around herself and froze.
There were no clothes in the bathroom.
The towel was all she had.
The thought of walking out and facing him made her stomach churn. How long could she hide in here? Just as the idea of locking the door crossed her mind
The door burst open.
“Were you planning to stay in there forever?” he hissed.
She shook her head instantly, clutching the towel to her chest like it was her lifeline.
Slowly, with hesitant steps, she walked out of the bathroom. He stepped aside just enough to let her pass into the room.
Sofía stood there trembling, staring down at the floor as if it were the most fascinating thing in existence.
He said nothing.
But she could feel his heated gaze traveling over her legs.
“I… I s-should c-change,” she stuttered, turning toward the cupboard.
Before she could take another step, he grabbed her wrist and yanked her back.
She stumbled.
Her soft body slammed into his hard chest.
A gasp escaped her lips as she clutched the towel tighter, wet strands of hair sticking to her face.
His arm wrapped around her waist, holding her close, so close there was barely an inch between them.
He lifted his hand and gently brushed a stray strand of hair from her face.
She held her breath.
Slowly, she raised her lashes.
Their eyes met.
His dark green gaze held something she had never seen before.
Not anger.
Not coldness.
But something softer.
Something like admiration.
“W-why are y-you h-here? H-how?” she stammered, painfully aware of his closeness, his strong arm around her waist, and the strange sparks buzzing through her body.
One hand clutched the towel while the other tried weakly to push against his arm.
“Window,” he replied simply.
Her mouth fell open in shock.
Fernando couldn’t stop himself from drinking in the sight of her wrapped in that tiny towel, showing off her toned legs, thick thighs, and creamy skin.
And that scent of hers
Fresh.
Intoxicating.
It coursed through his veins like blood.
“You look ravishing,” he rasped.
Her blue eyes widened.
A blush spread across her cheeks.
And he noticed the little gasps she made every time he moved even with the slightest touch.
“P-please… leave me a-alone,” she whispered, struggling harder to free herself.
Her words flipped something inside him.
A deep frown formed between his brows.
“Why?” he asked coldly.
This time, she lifted her head instead of staring at the floor.
“Because you’re my teacher! I’m your student!
You forced a kiss on me at the academy!
You harassed your own student!
That’s why I stopped coming!
And now you followed me to my apartment and watched me undress!”
Her voice broke as she yelled, tears blurring her vision.
“Let me go!”
She fought harder, punching his chest and biceps with her free hand.
He didn’t budge.
“Didn’t I tell you?” he sneered. “You’re mine.”
Fear shot down her spine at the deadly glint in his eyes.
She turned her face away.
But he grabbed her jaw and forced her to look at him.
“You. Are. Mine,” he emphasized each word, making her shrink back though his grip kept her trapped.
“Get it into that head of yours. I don’t give a fuck if I’m your teacher or not.
You’re mine
in every sinful way you can imagine.”
His growl sent shivers of terror through her entire body.
“N-no!” she sobbed.
“I’m not yours!”
Their eyes locked his blazing green against her frightened blue.
Fury surged through him.
Releasing her jaw, he grabbed a fistful of her thick black hair.
“If I have to rip this towel off you, throw you on that bed, and fuck you hard and raw just to make it clear you belong to me”
he leaned closer, voice rough, breath hot,
“then trust me…”
His face hovered inches from hers.
“I will do exactly that.”
The words echoed in her mind like a nightmare.
He wouldn’t.
He couldn’t.
Terror didn’t even begin to cover what she felt.
She was shaking.
Traumatized by the filthy threat.
Her lips quivered.
Her chin trembled.
And his eyes locked onto that movement like a magnet.
He lowered his face.
Thinking he was about to kiss her, she squeezed her eyes shut and sealed her lips tightly.
But instead
His mouth brushed her trembling chin in a soft peck.
The roughness of his stubble sent tingles across her skin.
Her breath hitched when his gaze drifted to her neck.
Fernando watched a droplet of water slide slowly down her throat to her collarbone.
A low growl rumbled from his chest.
He dipped his face into the crook of her neck
And the moment his teeth grazed her skin,
She froze.
