Chapter 213 213

Chapter 213 213

Damien let out a low grunt as he felt her tighten around him, her warmth gripping him perfectly.
He withdrew slowly before pushing back inside her, never breaking the intense eye contact between them.
“Do you like it, baby?” he asked, keeping his movements slow and deliberate.
Jacqueline nodded wordlessly, like someone intoxicated by the moment.
She leaned closer and pressed her lips to his. Damien responded with a tender kiss, and she sighed softly, melting into him.
A thought flickered through her mind.
How did he know how to do all this?
From everything she understood, the fierce man holding her was supposed to be inexperienced.
Yet here he was, moving with confidence that made her body tremble.
Their pace remained slow, almost unhurried, but something deep inside her was steadily building.
Her fingers tightened around his shoulders.
Within minutes, the sensation overwhelmed her completely.
Jacqueline climaxed.
She was still drifting through the aftershocks when Damien began walking them toward the edge of the pool. He pulled out and gently lowered her to her shaky feet.
“Hands on the wall,” he rasped.
Her eyes widened slightly, but she obeyed.
Turning her back to him, she placed both hands against the pool’s edge.
A startled shriek escaped her when suddenly her legs were lifted from the ground.
Damien had wrapped one arm firmly around her waist, holding her up so her toes barely brushed the pool floor.
Grabbing himself, he pushed inside her again from behind without warning.
Jacqueline gasped at the sudden fullness.
“Now,” he husked near her ear, “we’ll do it my way.”
He pulled back and then drove forward again, this time harder and faster.
Her back arched instinctively under the force of his thrust.
Her grip tightened on the pool’s rim as he moved with relentless intensity.
Something wild flashed through Damien’s eyes.
His wolf stirred dangerously close to the surface. His gums tingled as his canines threatened to emerge.
He wanted to mark her.
The urge burned fiercely inside him.
But he forced himself to hold back.
Tonight wasn’t the right time.
She didn’t know his truth yet.
And more importantly, it wasn’t the night of the full moon.
If he was going to claim her as his chosen mate, it had to happen beneath the full moon to form the strongest bond possible.
So he forced the beast back into submission and controlled himself.
Jacqueline’s body began tightening again around him.
This time he was close too.
Only a few more thrusts were needed before they both shattered together.
When it was over, Damien gently lowered her back onto her unsteady feet.
He stepped closer, wrapping his arms around her from behind and pulling her against him. He pressed a soft kiss to her temple.
Jacqueline leaned her head back against his chest, her gaze drifting upward toward the night sky.
A cool breeze swept across the water.
Suddenly she shivered.
“Sweet,” Damien murmured softly as he kissed the side of her neck.
A peaceful smile curved across Jacqueline’s lips as she stared at the open sky, her arm resting loosely over his.
She let out a quiet sigh.
Taking his hand, she lifted it to her lips and kissed it softly before placing it back against her waist.
But Damien’s hand slid upward instead, grabbing her breast and squeezing it.
She gasped when she felt something hard pressing against her lower back.
He was aroused again.
Before she could react, Damien scooped her up into his arms bridal-style.
She shrieked softly as he carried her toward the stairs of the pool.
Once they reached them, he set her down so she could step out.
Jacqueline climbed out with a small huff.
Suddenly
A sharp sting landed on her backside.
She gasped, instinctively grabbing her rear as her eyes widened in realization.
Her cheeks flushed a deep red as she glared at him.
Now she understood why he had carried her that way.
Damien only smirked.
Before she could protest, he lifted her into his arms again and carried her inside.
Neither of them bothered about their nakedness.
Damien entered the first room he came across.
He kicked the door shut behind them and walked straight to the bed before tossing Jacqueline onto it. Her body bounced twice against the mattress.
Before she could even gather herself, he was already above her.
His lips descended on her breasts again, giving them his full attention.
Her skin was cool and still damp from the water, droplets clinging to every curve.
Damien kissed every inch of her.
Explored every contour of her body beneath his hands.
And he took her again.
On the bed.
On the couch.
In the bathtub.
Under the shower.
He could have continued for several more rounds, but by then his beautiful woman was utterly exhausted.
He had also discovered something else about her.
Jacqueline loved to cuddle.
She wrapped her arms around his torso, already half asleep as Damien pulled her into a tight embrace, pressing her body snugly against his.
With one hand he stroked her hair gently, feeling the warmth of her breath against his chest.
The skin-to-skin contact only stirred the restless beast inside him again.
He kissed her forehead and inhaled the soft floral scent of her hair, hoping it might calm him.
Instead, it only made him want her again even though she was already asleep.
He had already had more than enough of her tonight.
He had taken her countless times in countless places.
Though he wanted to keep her with him all night long, he reminded himself that she was human.
And humans didn’t possess the stamina of a beast.
“I’m glad you came into my life, Jacqueline,” he whispered softly, his knuckles brushing gently across her cheek.
“You’re my cure… my antidote.”
He shifted slightly so he could see her face better. Pulling the sheets up, he covered her shoulders carefully.
They were both completely naked beneath the covers.
“I don’t know how I would have moved on if you hadn’t come into my life,” he murmured.
His eyes studied her features carefully, committing every detail of her face to memory.
Leaning down, he stole a soft, gentle kiss from her lips.
She didn’t stir.
She was completely asleep.
He had clearly worn her out.
Earlier she had even complained that she would probably be sore in the morning.
Yet a soft pink glow colored her cheeks.
She looked radiant.
Happy.
And knowing that he was the reason for that happiness filled Damien with a quiet warmth.
He tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her ear and smiled softly when she instinctively snuggled closer against his chest.
“I think… I love you, Jacqueline,” he whispered hoarsely.
A swirl of emotions flickered through his eyes.
A small smile tugged at his lips.
Because for the first time, the stubborn man had finally admitted it to himself.
He loved his little sunshine.
