Chapter 234 Part 2 Chapter 60
Chapter 234 Part 2 Chapter 60
Idara
Our loud, breathless moans filled the dimly lit bedroom as Helio thrust into me with that fast, deep, relentless pace he knew I loved. My body trembled beneath him, every powerful stroke pushing me closer and closer to the edge. He seemed to sense exactly how close I was because his hips snapped even faster, harder, driving into me with perfect precision.
“You’re almost there,” he rasped against my ear, his voice rough and strained with pleasure.
But I could barely hear him. I was lost — completely lost in the overwhelming wave building inside me. My release crashed over me suddenly, intense and shattering.
“Helio!” I cried out his name as pleasure exploded through every nerve in my body.
The moment my walls clenched around him, he let out a deep, guttural grunt and followed right after me. His hot semen spilled deep inside me as we both convulsed together, riding the high of our shared climax.
For a few long seconds, the only sounds in the room were our heavy breathing. Helio’s head dropped onto my shoulder, his body still trembling slightly as he tried to steady himself. After a moment, he slowly rolled off me, but he didn’t go far. Strong arms immediately pulled me close against his chest, holding me tightly as if he never wanted to let go.
“I love you, cutie pie,” he whispered tenderly, his lips brushing against my forehead.
With the little strength I had left, I whispered back, my voice soft and breathless, “I love you too.”
Who would have ever thought that changing my environment would bring me this man, especially when I was at my lowest point in life?
Ever since Helio forced his way into my world, he had completely transformed it into something I never even knew was possible. If he hadn’t come into my life, I wondered what kind of existence I would be living right now. Would Marilyn have succeeded in making my life a living hell? Yes… she definitely would have.
Although this werewolf world was still very new and sometimes overwhelming to me, I knew one thing for certain: with Helio by my side, I could face anything. He had suffered so much, yet he remained incredibly strong, mentally and emotionally. And the beautiful part was that he always handled the challenges long before they could even reach me.
Idara, the chubby, insecure girl who once believed she could never experience genuine love — was now the girl who had love in abundance.
Life, they say, can be so beautifully unpredictable.
The next morning when I woke up, the bed beside me was empty and cold. Helio was already gone.
Did he leave for work so early again? I thought, a small smile tugging at my lips despite the slight disappointment. I guess I’ll have to scold him again when he gets back. He really needs to understand that waking up next to him has quickly become my favorite part of every day.
As soon as my feet touched the floor, the bedroom door suddenly burst open. I snapped my head toward the sound, heart skipping a beat. I was still completely naked, but relief washed over me the moment I saw it was Helio. He looked fresh and powerful, dressed sharply in a tailored suit and tie, every inch the commanding Alpha.
“Thank God you’re awake,” he said quickly, closing the door behind him and walking fast toward me.
I raised an eyebrow, still sitting on the edge of the bed. “Is something wrong?”
He stopped right in front of me, bent low, and looked me straight in the eyes. “Well… I have good news and bad news. Which one do you want first?”
“The good one,” I answered without hesitation.
He nodded. “We now have all the solid evidence we need against Elder Calisto and his niece, Eleanor. Together with the council of elders, I am about to sentence them accordingly for their crimes.”
A quiet sense of relief bloomed in my chest. Finally, the people who tried to tear us apart are going to face justice. I nodded, listening carefully as he continued.
“Then what’s the bad news?” I asked.
Helio stayed silent for a while, then let out a heavy sigh. “The pack already knows the truth now. They know we’ve been playing them for fools for the past three years. Because of that, you won’t be able to go to work today. I need to sort everything out first.”
My eyes widened in shock. They know? Already?
“Woah… they know about it now?” My voice came out louder than I had intended.
“Yes,” he confirmed with a nod. “I let them know. And because the truth is out, a pack conference has been called.”
He paused, his expression turning more serious. “But you don’t have to be there.”
The words made something tighten in my stomach. He’s trying to protect me again. I shook my head firmly. “I’m not a baby, Helio. As your wife, I will be there to support you.”
He nodded slowly, but I could see the tension in his shoulders and the slight tightness in his jaw. He’s anxious, I realized. Of course he is. He has to stand before the entire pack that believed he was his brother for three whole years. He has to reveal that he’s been impersonating Julio this whole time. Even the strongest man would feel nervous facing that kind of judgment.
The thought made my heart ache for him. Helio had already suffered so much, losing his family, carrying the weight of revenge, awakening his power, and now stepping fully into leadership while hiding such a massive secret. Yet through it all, he had shielded me from the worst of it.
I won’t let him face this alone.
I reached out and gently took his hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
Whatever happened at that pack conference today, we would face it together.
I smiled softly at him. “When will the conference be held?”
Helio kept his eyes locked on mine and whispered, “That’s why I came to you now. It will be held this morning.”
I nodded, absorbing the information. So soon… “I should freshen up then,” I said, already moving.
He nodded in agreement.
As I stood up and began walking toward the bathroom, I suddenly stopped and turned back to him. “And stop fidgeting, oh jeez,” I teased gently.
All he did was laugh — that rich, deep laugh of his that always sent warmth spreading through my chest. Even when he’s nervous, he still finds a way to make my heart flutter.

The conference hall was thick with tension. You could feel the anger rolling off the pack members in waves. They were furious at having been deceived for so many years by the people they had trusted, their elders and their Alpha. Their resentment was understandable. They had followed orders, and believed everything they were told, only to discover it had all been a carefully constructed lie.
But the most shocking moment that left me completely stunned came from Violet.
She stood up boldly in front of the entire pack and spoke in Helio’s defense. She told them how Helio had uncovered who was truly responsible for killing their Alpha and how he was determined to bring justice to the pack. Her strong, unwavering support for him noticeably cooled down the heavy tension that had been directed at Helio.
With her words, the pack’s anger slowly shifted. It became focused more on the elders who had been part of the deception.
One pack member voiced out loudly, “But it is truly a disgrace that our former Alpha, your father, had to hide his own son all in the name of a dead tradition.”
Many others nodded and murmured in agreement.
I sat there quietly, listening. It wasn’t uncommon in their world for a twin to be killed or locked away from the world simply because the pack feared both would grow up to rebel and fight for the Alpha position. How absurd and cruel, I thought. To punish a child just for being born a twin…
Then another voice rose above the murmurs. “If what you have said is the truth, that when the young Julian becomes of age, the title will be passed down to him, then we are ready to accept you as the standing Alpha.”
The rest of the pack nodded in unison, showing their conditional acceptance.
Camera lights flashed on Helio as he stood tall and nodded firmly. “You have my word on that.”
I found out that the pack had their own private platforms and news outlets, channels that only members of the pack could access. This wasn’t just a meeting; it was being broadcast to the entire pack.
Soon the meeting ended and we were escorted to the car. As soon as we both got in, Helio pulled me into a hug and breathed in deeply, like he was trying to steady himself with my scent.
I hugged him back tightly, holding him close. He really needed this, I thought. “You did good,” I offered softly.
He nodded, and I could hear the rapid beating of his heart against my chest.
“So what are you going to do now?” I asked.
He answered with a whisper, “We just wait after they are all convicted.”
I turned my head to the side and kissed his neck gently. Helio chuckled slowly at the touch.
In my arms he finds himself again, I thought warmly. Truth be told, this guy actually behaves like a child sometimes. And I guess from time to time, I should treat him as one, soft, safe, and cared for.
Who can blame him? When they took all his childhood from him.
