Chapter 66 - The Luna Queen’s Life and Her Baby Are In Danger

Exactly, when Alpha King Dantes and Gamma Reden are nearby the operating room already, its door opens and the palace doctor comes out of it.
Andreitte's parents who are sitting nearby immediately stand up and approach the doctor too.
"Doctor, how are my Luna Queen and our baby?" outright, Alpha King Dantes asked the doctor.
The doctor bows his head before he answered. "My Alpha King, the Luna Queen needs a blood transfusion. She lost a lot of blood. The silver bullet has been removed from her body already. Good thing, her resilience against silver is high, being a Zeta, helps her a lot. But, if she cannot have the needed blood right away, it might affect not only her life but the baby inside her womb as well."
"Doctor, I am the Luna Queen's father. Please take my blood for my daughter," Andreitte's father interjected as he offered to be the blood donor for her daughter.
Alpha King Dantes looks at his father-in-law and nods, then taps his right shoulder. "Thank you, Father."
Andreitte's father smiled and feels elated being called, Father by the Alpha King. "I am his father, my Alpha King. I will do everything for her even if it means risking my life."
Alpha King Dantes nodded, with his eyes full of gratitude to the man, who is now his father-in-law.
The doctor nods too and smiles. "Let us go then, Sir," he said as he guided the Luna Queen’s father inside the operating room.
Alpha King Dantes and Gamma Reden together with Andreitte’s mother, stay outside while waiting for the blood transfusion process to be finished. They are all silent while sitting on the nearby bench.
Almost an hour after, the same doctor get out of the operating room with a smile on his lips.
Alpha King Dantes, Gamma Reden, and the mother of Andreitte, immediately approach the doctor.
“Is it good news, Doc?” It was Alpha King Dantes, who asked.
The Doctor nodded. “Yes. The blood transfusion has been successful. Just give her a few more days and she will be back to normal. Her recuperation as I can see it, is faster than an average she-wolf.”
“And how about my husband?” Andreitte’s mother asked after a while.
“Don’t worry, Ma’am, your husband is fine. He is just resting.”
“Thank you, Doctor,” Alpha King Dantes and Andreitte’s mother spoke almost at the same time.
At that moment, Daina comes out from the other operating room. She stops walking when she saw Alpha King Dantes and his companions.
“Daina, how is the Rogue Alpha?” Alpha King Dantes asked with a cold expression.
Daina bows her head before she answers. “He survived, your Highness. Thank you for sparing his life and for letting the doctors accept him here for operation and treatment.”
“We will talk later on, Daina,” the Alpha King said while wearing still in his aura that cold expression.

Three days after the operation and blood transfusion, Luna Queen Andreitte could already sit on the bed although she could not yet walk on her own, like when she went to the comfort room, her husband, Alpha King Dantes, assisted her.
She is recuperating well and fast.
Alpha King Dantes, did not leave her side all throughout except when he needs to go to their room to take a shower and change his clothes. His meals were just being brought inside the hospital room, where Andreitte has been transferred after the successful operation.
Andreitte’s parents, would also usually visits her in the hospital.
On the sixth day, Andreitte is almost fully recuperated.
“Can I get out of this room, already?” Andreitte asked the Alpha King when she saw him enter the room. He went to their room for a while to freshen up himself and change his outfit.
“I will ask the Doctor. But I guess, you can already be discharged from here. You are looking well already,” the Alpha King replied smilingly. He sits on the bed, beside Andreitte.
When the Doctor comes to check on the condition of Andreitte, the Alpha King asks him. “Doctor, is it alright if my wife will be discharged from here, already?“
The doctor nodded. “Yes, my Alpha King. The Luna Queen has recuperated well. She can be discharged now. Just remember my advice, Luna Queen, you are not allowed yet to do some heavy work to protect your pregnancy. Please take all the vitamins and other medicines that I prescribed also.”
Andriette smiled and nodded. “Don’t worry, Doctor, I will remember all of those and will do as advised.”
“Alright. Then I guess, I need to process now your discharge. If you’ll excuse me, Alpha King Dantes and Luna Queen Andreitte. I’ll be back in a while,” The Doctor said and then left the room in a hurry.
“My Alpha King, what happened? All I could remember that day after our wedding ceremony was that, there were sounds of gunshots and then I felt something hit me and then I passed out. Who shoot me?” Andreitte became serious as she remembered the last thing before she felt like losing her breath that time.
“It was Queen Erasma. She suddenly came and attacked the palace, together with Alpha Branden.” Alpha King Dantes replied shortly. As much as possible, he does not want his wife to reminisce about what happened anymore. His anger is being revived every time he will remember too how their wedding had been ruined. The reception became a waste including everything that has been prepared for their wedding.
“Queen Erasma and Alpha Branden?” Why did Queen Erasma attack and even wanted to kill me?” she asked with a raised eyebrow while looking deeply into her husband’s eyes. “Wait, don’t tell me, Queen Erasma was one of your women before?” she added with the edges of her eyes narrowing this time.
The Alpha King cleared his throat before speaking again. “Ahhmm, sort of. But, do we really need to talk about it now, Darling? Queen Erasma is dead already.”
“What?! Who killed her?”
“I killed her the moment I saw her shoot you,” Alpha King Dantes said with clenching teeth.
Andreitte fell silent, and her jealousy all of a sudden, fly out of the window. Slowly, a smile creeps through her lips when she remembered him saying his vows to her during their wedding ceremony.
