[Alpha Liam's POV]
In the late hours of the night, the half moon shone in the sky with full pride, reflecting off the dark waves in its light and casting a golden hue over everything that it touched. After the fight between the Alpha's Gravefur Pack and the Vanara Pack, it looked as if the world had been reborn after a bang. The howls of the wolves and the screeches of the Vanara Pack echoed through the air.
The entire Nagosia Forest is filled with profound silence and peace at this time. The only sound is the rustling of the fallen leaves from the trees, on which I was dragging my existence. Before I could move, a black darkness appeared before my eyes, which plunged me into a deep silence in a peaceful sleep.
"Alpha Liam!" Zeta Eli transformed into human form as he approached me. His bluish silver fur was replaced by human skin, and the golden eyes were surrounded by black ink. He tried to shake me, but in vain. They saw that there were claw marks on my body, as if I had fought fiercely with someone. At his Alpha's state, Eli looked furiously at Beta Osiris, who accompanied him there.
"Who could it be?” Beta Osiris asked Zeta Eli, through gritted teeth.
Zeta Eli Ryker was Alpha Liam's right-handed werewolf, who is the lead hunter and specialized in both strategy and pack coordination. He is an intelligent werewolf with strength greater than beta werewolf in both wolf form and human form. He is the only werewolf who can roar in his human form.
On the other hand, Beta Osiris Kenzo was Alpha Liam's left-handed werewolf. He was very quick-tempered and often made wrong decisions in his anger. Like Gamma Kai, he is older than both Zeta Eli and Alpha Liam.
He did not answer him, or perhaps he himself did not know whose work it could be. He often spoke very little and would not answer until he got to the bottom of the matter himself.
When he did not get any response from Zeta Eli, Beta Osiris let out a howl. With that frosty white fur started growing on his body, and his eyes turned from black to a deep orange color as if fire was pouring out of them. He picked up Alpha Liam's human body in his werewolf form and headed for the pack house, but Zeta Eli stopped him and told him to head towards the city.
"Aren't we going to the pack house?" Beta Osiris asked, taking his cue. "The rest of the pack members are there, and they're very worried about Alpha Liam."
"There is no point in going there," Zeta Eli replied curtly. He started walking forward, showing them the way to the city.
There were many more werewolves in the pack house, including the assassin werewolf Etta Suzette Gelbero, who was a spy and the trainer of the scout wolves. The lead warriors Ultima Wolf Edric Wilson and Ultima Wolf Drik Wilson, who trained the warriors of the Gravefur Pack, and Howl Wolf Vladimir Lorenzo usually supported the horn with their life along with Alpha. They were all eagerly awaiting their return.
He knew that if anyone could help Alpha Liam right now, it was Gamma Kai. After the death of True Alpha Alparic, he had stopped fighting wars and had taken the place of the pack mother. Now, like her, he tells Alpha Liam the solution to every problem of the pack and helps him make every decision about who to fight with. "What is the benefit of doing that? And with whom there is benefit in association."
"What happened to Alpha?" Gamma Kai asked, looking at Alpha Liam's human form on Beta Osiris' shoulder.
"We had heard the sound of his howl from the Nagosia forest. When we went there, we saw him lying unconscious on the ground in his human body," Zeta Eli said, looking into Gamma Kai's brown eyes.
"Does anyone in the pack house know that he is here?" Gamma Kai asked as he laid Alpha Liam down on the bed.
"Oh, we brought him straight here. They are all waiting there for his return," Zeta Eli replied, looking at the claw marks. "Can you tell which pack it will be?"
"The claw marks are still hot," Gamma Kai said as he placed his hand on Alpha Liam's body.
"You mean flame werewolf," Zeta Eli replied as he listened to Gamma Kai.
Alpha Lowell, Beta Osiris repeated his name under his breath.
In anger, his body is covered in frosty white fur and his eyes turn a deep orange color that shines like fire at night. With a loud howl, he slams his four paws on the ground, which echoes throughout the house. He wants to go to Vanara Pack to answer their action.
He has decided that whoever attacked my family and the village must pay for their crimes and suffer.
He takes one last look at the unconscious Alpha Liam. "If they dare touch my brother again, I'll rip their throat open, but for now..." With that he transforms into a wolf, jumps out of the window, and disappears in the dark of the forest. His friends, Beta Osiris, Gamma Kai and everyone else follow suit.
After that, all the lights and noise disappear into nothingness. Everything turns pitch black. The only sounds that can be heard are those of the crickets chirping. And the only scent that can be found is a scent similar to the scent of wild wolf and blood.
"It smells delicious. So fragrant..." Alpha Liam said as he sniffed the plate, inhaling deeply. He took a bite and immediately gave a happy moan. This plate is really good. It was not just food for me anymore - this plate is also the best thing that I've tasted since I was alive.
