Chapter 27 Twenty seven
Darren's POV.
"What do you mean you can't find her?" I asked,my heart thumping uncontrollably, I couldn't imagine what happened to her and how I'd feel if something happened to her.
"I ran after her, then I somehow lost her, I looked around and I couldn't find her." Dean sighed, rubbing his temple in frustration.
"Damn it." I swore hitting the wall, this time the force of my punch cracked the wall.
"Calm down, we don't want you destroying the whole place out of anger, you'll find her, we'll find her." Karl said and I sighed.
"You caused this." My wolf bared its teeth.
"I didn't mean to, I didn't want this, I would never hurt her." I said.
"But you did, you hurt our mate." It growled.
"Be calm, I'll find her." I said and it quieted.
"Let's search for her." Dean said and I nodded, we walked outside.
I inhaled trying to see if I could use her scent to find her,I couldn't scent her, I felt weird, that I couldn't scent her, I looked around, picturing her in my mind, like I could do if I wanted to track anyone, yet I couldn't see her, it didn't work.
"Can you track her?" Karl asked.
"I've tried tracking, it's not working,I feel like something is blocking me, and I can't see her or where she is." I sighed, kicking the stone I saw on my way.
"Calm down, you really don't need to destroy everywhere." Karl said.
"I'm calm." I said through gritted teeth.
"Yeah, act like it." Dean said and I nodded.
"Can you trace her scent?" Karl asked.
"I can't, it's like I can't reach her at all, I don't understand this, it feels so strange." I said.
My mind kept straying to directions I didn't like, the scenarios I formed in my head made me feel fucking uncomfortable, it felt like something bad happened to her and I wasn't able to reach her.
What drove me really mad was the fact that I was the reason she ran out in anger, and I didn't like it.
"Don't worry." Karl said, patting my back.
"How can I not worry, she ran out because of me, I made her run away, I'm responsible and now I don't even know where she is, I now understand why I didn't have a mate yet, it's because the moon goddess knew that I would be this way, that's why it didn't give me one yet, I feel so fucking frustrated." I said and Karl sighed.
"Let's keep looking, I'm sure we'll find her in time." He said and I nodded.
"Just keep calm, your emotions are high, it's everywhere, and also if you're calm, you'll think clearer and we'll find her soon, maybe the reason you can't track her or visualize her yet, is because of how you feel." Karl said and I nodded.
But I honestly didn't know how to do what he asked of me, it felt like I will fail woefully, it sucked so much that I needed to be calm right now, but there was no where I would be calm with knowing that she was missing and I couldn't see her, I wouldn't be calm in any way if I keep thinking if it, and I needed to be, so I would find her immediately.
"Are you calm now?" Dean asked and I realized that I was sitting on one of the chairs I kept for relaxing.
"I guess I am, I'm feeling a little better." I said.
I wasn't feeling a little better, I wanted to feel a little better, I sucked in and released my breath for ten times, then I sat down again, looking at the sky,I hoped seeing how blue and calm it is would calm me down,I stared at it for a minute, then I felt calm suddenly,I smiled standing up immediately I felt calm.
"I'll try again." I said and they nodded.
I inhaled once more, then I tried visualizing her. It was one of my abilities, I could see anyone wherever they are, whatever they are doing, and what they are saying, but right now I couldn't see her and I didn't like it at all.
"I can't see her, I can't fucking see her, I can't even scent her." I said,I was vibrating with anger.
"What the fuck is going on?" I yelled in fustration.
"What's really happening?" Karl asked too with a sigh.
"I could see how calm you were and I thought you would see her, but this looks like it has nothing to do with being calm." Dean said.
"Yes, I can visualize even when I'm raging, anger doesn't alter it in any way." I said.
"Well, fuck why is this happening, she's my food buddy." Karl said and Dean rolled his eyes.
"She's my buddy in everything all right, but let's go look for her." Dean said and Karl scoffed.
"I think we should check the CCTV first, then we'll now think of what to do." Karl said and I nodded.
"Yeah, let's do that, you'll check the first CCTV video compilation." I said to Karl and he nodded.
"I'll check the second, you'll check the third." I told Dean.
"We'll call each other when we've discovered anything, if we haven't we'll still call each other." I said and they nodded.
We all dispersed, I went to the second CCTV office, my pack was big, it didn't have one CCTV station, it had three.
I made the guard search it and I didn't see her, I sighed in fustration, walking out of the room in annoyance.
I waited for Karl and Dean's call, hoping they'll tell me what I needed to hear.
I heaved a sigh of relief when I saw Karl and Dean run to me, their faces made me pause wondering what they found out.
"I saw her in the first CCTV, she was at the football field, close to the walls, but she was taken by people with masks." He said and I stilled.
"Let's go." I said shifting immediately.
