He isolated himself in his room after that and did not come out of it for three days straight. We both stayed put, Athos and I, for the first two. Letting him grieve, take his time.
We caved on the third one, bursting inside. We found him huddled in the bathroom with a few empty bottles of wolfsbane at his side, and with the shower running on cold as he sat on the floor. Soaking wet. Apathetic.
We did not talk. We didn't need to. Athos helped him change out of his wet clothes, and then we lay together, all three of us, in his bed. We lay in silence, for hours on end. Taking comfort in each other's presence. He burst into quiet sobs at some point, and I held him close, letting him bury his face in my chest and his arms wrap around me. Cry his pain for the loss of his friend. His warrior.
I couldn't even bring myself to feel the slightest hint of jealousy or ire. And neither my wolf. Not after what we had seen in their minds. What we had felt. It still brought tears to my eyes. And I could understand so many things now. So much more.
We fell asleep, eventually. All three of us, together, in a tangle of limbs. With our shifter spirits close to the surface, reaching out through our skins. Feeling. Touching.
I stared at myself in the mirror, checking my overall appearance. I had dressed myself in a pair of tight-fitting pants, and a training bra. I had braided my hair and put on a pair of training shoes. We were supposed to head to the training grounds and do a little bit of exercising. I figured that it would do him some good, so I had suggested it.
I took a deep, invigorating breath. And then I went to the door, exiting Leonidas' bathroom. I had used it to dress myself up simply because Leonidas' dressing room was close by. And it was still the only place that stored clothes that fit me.
I stepped into his bedroom, and my breath hitched, stopping in my tracks as our gazes met. We stood there, silent and unmoving, facing each other. And then his gaze lowered. Trailing over the length of me. It brought me back to that night when I had first slept in the same room with him. I could feel my cheeks warming, even now. Flustered by that look in his eyes as they trailed over me, slowly.
He was still bare from the waist up. Wearing a pair of jogging pants and a pair of trainers. Leaving his strong and muscled torso bare for my viewing. I could see the outline of that bulging member in his pants. But unlike the last time, I did not run away. I did not squeal with embarrassment and I did not cover my eyes. I let him look at me. And in return, I had my own fill of him.
We left the room a few moments after, meeting Athos in the hallway. He was also wearing something that revealed a lot of skin. A loose tank that left his bulky arms bare, his broad shoulders, and most of his strong pectorals. A pair of comfortable shorts that ended just above his knees. Showcasing his toned legs.
My wolf grew a little restless, and I a little bit...warmer.
I started to walk briskly. And they did not hesitate to follow. I stalked the hallways, my steps fast. Determined. I remained so acutely aware of theirs the whole time. Feeling their eyes on me. The scorching warmth of their bodies trailing after me. They were so close, that I could feel gusts of their hot breaths caressing the bare areas of my skin. I fought not to shiver, and hastened my pace. I willed myself to remain focused. To not falter. Keep my head clear.
We stepped out of the castle -finally- after winding stairs and long hallways, into the morning light. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, enjoying the fresh and crisp air. The delicate rays of the sun touching my skin.
I resumed my journey. Walking fast. We reached the training grounds not long after. The area was populated by many of his warriors, doing their usual routines. Sparring. Training. They noticed us, but they did not make any blatant gestures to acknowledge their king. They only moved out of the way with a slight incline of their heads, giving us a wide berth. Enough space, and a little bit of privacy. It was as if they could sense my mild unease. The restlessness their presence gave me.
I turned subtly, throwing a glance over my shoulder. Leonidas and Athos' gazes were dead set on me, ignoring what was happening around us. Watching my every move. I swallowed thickly and turned back around. Once again willing myself to remain focused.
I chose a spot eventually, away from the covert but curious gazes of their warriors. Closer to the forest. Quieter, and more secluded.
I turned around, facing them. They stopped but a few spaces away from me. Close, but not close enough to crowd me. Waiting. Watching. I felt myself growing a little flustered again, but I did not let that hinder me. I stretched my arms and legs, preparing myself mentally. Drawing strength.
I adopted my fighting stance, and they both stared at me, their gazes becoming a little heated, and more intense.
"Whenever you're ready, little wolf," Leonidas said calmly, and I fought not to shiver at the sound of his voice. That certain lilt in it.
I swallowed, bringing my fists up.
"I'm ready. Bring it on."
I fought hard. I ducked, and parried, and slipped away from their grasp as much as I could. They circled me like predators, hounding their prey. They carried out coordinated attacks, striking one at a time. Never both at once. They were formidable, as expected. Powerful. Lethal. And yet, they were careful enough not to inflict any actual harm upon me. Not once did their strikes meet my skin with malicious intent. Only small, gentle taps. Brushes of fingers. They only sought to teach me. Show me my weaknesses. My open points.
I grew even more driven to prove myself, to show them that I could be dangerous too, and soon, I managed to actually punch Leonidas square in the face. I did not manage to make him lose balance, but I did manage to draw blood. It leaked from his nose.
We abruptly stopped, and my eyes widened. None of us uttered a single word, for a few long moments. But then he smirked, throwing Athos a certain look past my shoulder.
I grew a little apprehensive at the sight of that. The witnessing of their subtle form of communication. And yet, the feeling seemed to somehow excite me. Spur me on.
I readied myself again. And before I could even take a second breath, they attacked. I let out a frightened yelp and managed to slip from between them at the very last second. My breath came out in audible pants, staring between them widely as I quickly realized what they were trying to do to me now. They were trying to catch me. Subdue me. Holy Mother. I shuddered from that powerful bout of anxiety combined with hot arousal.
My wolf suddenly pushed to the forefront of my mind, eager to play this new game. My vision of them grew sharper, making me aware somehow that she was staring at them through my eyes. They stared right back, their eyes flashing golden.
The air grew thicker around us. Headier. Charged. And before I could even try to stop her, my body was already turning in the direction of the forest. Swift. Unexpected. I broke into a sprint. And they followed immediately.
Goddess. I let out a loud squeal, my body thrumming with adrenaline. I began weaving through the trees. Fast. Desperate. I could hear them bounding right after me. Their powerful steps. Their harsh breaths. It only managed to excite me further, making me feel like I was their prey. I yearned to find myself caught at some point, under their hands. But...not now. Not so fast. I wanted to enjoy this as much as I could. Make them hunt me, work for me. Tire for me. So I pushed myself as hard as I could. Agile. Determined. I changed my course abruptly several times, making them lose a little bit of momentum each time as their large bodies created that disadvantage by simply being that. Too big. Too powerful.
I continued to zip through the trees, ducking and evading them as they eventually started to try grasp at me. Trip me, and scare me into falling between them. I did not yield, not once, seeing through their moves, their tactics.
I kept them at it for a while. Egging them on, spurring them to keep giving chase. But at the same time, I was starting to grow tired myself. I realized that I wasn't going to last for long. They were definitely faster. Immensely stronger, and way more resilient. There was absolutely no way that I was going to win this game. One way or another, they were soon going to catch me. The thought made my panties wet and my nipples harden underneath my training bra. I realized that I was ready, and that I wanted this. So much. I wanted to feel them touch me, to fall prey to their powerful bodies. I was ready to be subdued. Dominated.
I stopped abruptly. They did not see it coming. They careened right past me, struggling a little bit to stop their hurtling bodies. And once they did, they swiftly turned around to face me once again, adopting their predatory stances. Ready to attack.
My body heated even more, finding myself ogling them so shamelessly once again. I couldn't stop. My wolf liked what she was seeing too much. I liked what I was seeing. Equally so. They were breathing as fast as I was, their muscled bodies slick with sweat. Veins bulging. Disheveled. Frenzied. There was a wild look in both their gazes. They were enticed by this, by the game that we were playing, just as much as I was. If not more. I could feel their arousal hanging in the air, their pure male scents. It made my wolf drool, and my pussy leak.
But...we yearned to play for a little bit longer. Just a tiny bit. So I adopted my fighting stance once again, beckoning them to come closer. Try and reach me again. They both smirked wickedly. And then, they proceeded to attack.
