Alaric's POV
Jasper had called that we meet up for lunch this afternoon. Becky and I had planned to discuss somethings of high importance this noon, but with great regards, I have to merge both meetings. That way, I'll be killing two birds with a stone. I wanted my meeting with Becky to be very much informal, as she is a spy on the vampires side, and I would not want to raise any suspicions yet.
"Becky." I called.
"Sire.." she replied formally over the phone. I could see her saluting.
"Our schedule today is 12noon, right?" I looked at my office wall clock.
"Yes sir." She said.
"How are things going on there?" I asked. She was quiet for a while, then she replied.
"All clear sir, sorry for the delay in response. There is something you must be updated about."
I nodded.
"This noon, then"
"Okay sir"
I hung up on her.
Jasper's POV
I noticed that Chelsea has been buying contraceptives from the stores lately. It's getting oblivious that she was already having sex.
What are Alaric's intentions towards Chelsea?
I know couples these days treat sex like it's no big deal, but with his supernatural abilities, having sex with my little sister could turn out to be detrimental to her health. He could be sucking her emeryor blood during intercourse for Christ sake.
I'm starting to get damn worried.
I threw a mint sweet into my mouth and chewed on it.
That felt better anyways.
I just want to see him and ask him a few things.
Alaric alighted from his car. He was
putting on a red suit. I always admired him because of this. Just then, a brunette lady walked up to him clad in a small skirt and singlet.
I was irritated at the way they exchanged pleasantries. To crown it all, they both hugged. She grinned. I saw her touch his chest and a reciprocated with a broad smile. There was no limit to this lady. He began to walk towards the cafe we planned to meet at. I followed suit. He opened the door and walked in.
He and the girl were talking and laughing over something... I don't know..
Whatever it was.
I dialed his number. I watched him look at his screen, frown and slid the phone into his pocket.
What is he doing? Ignoring my call when I set up to meet with him. I waved angrily from the entrance and matched to the table.
"Jasper. How are you.." he leaned on the chair. I was beginning to get infuriated. I gritted my teeth.
Who does he think he is to double date my sister?
Is he planning to do the same as her stupid ex boyfriend?
"We planned to meet up" I told him, more like reminded him.
"Yeah." He nodded, pointing at an extra chair for me.
He was very comfortable, bringing another girl to his girlfriend's brother.
This was like a slap in my face. Though I know he's very much older than I am, richer than I am and more powerful than I am, that does not guarantee his warranty to do something this annoying.
"Feel free to place your order." He said, crossing his legs, one over the other.
The girl beside him blushed.
"Including I?" She blinked her eyes.
"Yes, anything for you." He winked.
Her lips pursed to reveal her protuding lips. Not like pursing her lips made them bigger, her bright red lipstick did the trick. She looked more than sluty.
"How are you Becky?" He turned and winked.
She blushed.
"I'm fine, Alaric." Her shoulder shifted, as. She shifted in her seat like a college girl who was with her crush.
"Any updates about leakages in the gasoline?" Alaric winked.
What gasoline?
Are these people insane?
Author's POV
Jasper was confused. He could not tell that both party were conversing using codes.
"A few leakages, my love." Her voice was tiny in a whisper.
"The whole body of the cylinder seems fine, but I can see some leakages sometimes." She emphasized.
'has she started a home with Alaric?' jasper began to wonder.
"Where could we trace it to?" Alaric winked with a big smile.
"At the south of white street, I found a man who helped me out, Mark out the place. Marked in as well." She emphasized on the name 'Mark'
Alaric nodded his head and took a sip of tea.
"And..." He wanted more names.
" His son Alex was being a pain in the neck." She smiled at jasper and winked. The guy eyed her and took a big bite if pizza.
"Alex kept on hitting on me. He was hitting and hitting till he hit down the ..." She was saying.
Jasper was a fully fledged form of furious now.
"Enough!" He banged the table.
"Why did you bring her here!" He fired at Aleric.
Becky feigned fear.
"Oh... Aleric, what is happening here?"
"Get the fuck outta here you mother fucking assole." He cussed.
"Sit that ass down, jasper!" Aleric was angry now.
"I would not sit down, young man!"
"Are you talking to me?" Aleric flared.
" I shouldn't have called you young man in the first place."
"What's your relationship with my sister?" He pointed.
"That's different from what we're talking about now, jasper." There was an itch of emotion in Alaric's voice.
Chelsea's POV
My phone rung. I swiped right to pickup the call.
"Hi Eva," her voice was shaky
"Your brother is in a fight"she said.
After which she texted the address to me. I rushed in to meet both of them I. A heated argument.
"Stop it already." I yelled.
"Chels." I heard jasper whisper.
"Why are you doing this, jasper?" I rolled my eyes.
"Ask him who this lady is!" He pointed angrily.
"This is Becky " I told him.
"Who's Becky?" He laughed in mockery. I pulled him out of the bar and began to explain how informants work in the werewolves territory.
He seemed sober already
