Chapter nineteen.
Chelsea's P.O.V
"I am sorry chels, but I guess somethings are better left unsaid." His voice could tell that the next word that was gonna come out of his mouth was not gonna be a good one.
"What the fuck happened Ric?" I guessed this was not the time to leave this unsaid.
"He…..he.. umm—-" He was swallowing his words harder.
"Look, Ric you know you can trust me in this, I am not a blabbermouth so I can assure you that it won't leak." A wound expression converged over my even features.
"Come see for yourself." He said over the phone, reluctantly.
He hung up the call, immediately he said that. I guess the wolf territory was not for ordinary people, or he didn't want to unveil me to the wolves, maybe because of the way he was betrayed by them.
His location was always shared with mine. So it was no stress for me to find him.
I tiptoed towards the door, I reached the door but I was facing the back, to be cautious of anyone that was coming towards my direction.
I turned to the door only to see John standing at my front with his arms folded. His lips opened a fraction at the corner, as he leaned against the door.
"I know you were gonna do that.' he said and offered me a smile, in which pained me, a little bit though.
I looked at him still shocked, but I guess it was because of what I did the other day. John was a person who usually take note of every moment.
"Fuck, I guess you really got me this time." I shook my head in frustration looking for a way to convince him to get away from the door.
"I am only gonna let you step out of this door without anybody noticing, on one condition." He had started feeling bossy.
"And what is it, John?" He looked at me with a tough grin. "You know I don't like it when you keep beating around the bush." I warned.
"It's gonna be a though one though." It was like he was thinking about what he was gonna say, he placed his hand other his chin, he kept drawing his beardless chin."
"Just go straight to the point, John." I had my gaze glued on him strongly. He was starting to get me infuriated and actually pissed off.
"And don't feel at me." His high-toned voice dropped to a low tone. A vein thicker in his forehead and he had started feeling bossy.
"Look John, Jasper might show up and tell me to glue my ass on the couch, and I might be pissed and get to never be your your friend, ever again." I stared into his blue eyes and he nodded, he had finally understood me, for maybe once in his life.
"I know it's not possible for you to do that, so don't take me for a fool. The conditions is that you would give me the sum of five dollars, and you gonna have to take care of my swollen ass." He turned his butt to my gaze.
"Trust me for that, okay?" I held him and smile crept to his lips.
"Ok chels ,I guess this one's safe with me." He said.
"And you also have to dh the biggest favor for me." I gazed through my phone, I was already running late.
"Yep, I know that it is to lie, and you know that, that is just what I am perfect at, so I guess you are gonna have to keep your rest assured." I said, happiness and joy surging through me vein.
I nodded at him, then I brought out give candies and handed them to him. He looked at me closely before collecting them, not without a smile.
He waved me goodbye, in which I responded to him by wavingy hands and he flashed a boyish grin, then revealed his white teeth.
I opened the door slowly and shut it close almost immediately.
I walked out of the door, I saw Kayla at my front.
"And why happened to him." She sounded negative.
"He said, he has been busy, throughout the whole day, since holiday." I had to lie for her, I knew he was alive but all I knew was that he was not feeling alright.
I was happy that it was not Alaric, I didn't even noticed when I started falling in love with him, maybe it was when he kissed me, about two months ago.
Or maybe he applied love portion. But my love had started growing at a tremendous rate for him, in about two months or so.
I was almost there, I boarded a cab, actually because it seemed like it was a long distanced road, which I wouldn't be able to walk from.
I finally got there and saw a huge building at my front, but it was not big like the one insaw in my dream.
I saw him immediately I opened the door, he saw me from afar, he stood up and came approaching me, I threw myself into his arms warmly and he held me tightly, he made his lips collide with mine, they were a lot of people, staring at me.
"Please can we find somewhere private." I was not used to the crowd, so I wanted to get away from them.
Most especially, their glance were almost evil.
"Where is Torin?" I asked him and he smiled negatively.
"He is in a bad condition but he would get better soon." Alaric had started becoming positive on his words.
"I wanna see him, I would like to give someone feedback about him." I could fell my eyes widen.
"And who is the person you wanna give it to?" He asked with an uncomfortable look, in which I responded to with a shrug.
"His lover, or I don't know." I hardly talked.
We walked into a room and I saw him covered up.
"His he dead?"
"No*, his blood mixed with silver."
He was still breathing but he was not able to move his body.
I was about to walk away when someone held my hand.
