Chapter 28

Stacy had returned to her room to find Kyle out cold on the bed, she did the smart thing and tucked herself in on the sofa, she slept well considering the sofa still had that new stiffness to it, but like clockwork, 6am rolled around and she was wide awake, rather than wake Kyle she decided to use Val and Dominic’s shower, they were already up doing their Alpha thing so she had the place to herself.

It wasn’t until she stepped out of the warm rain like water that she realized she had forgotten a change of clothes, ‘not to worry, some of Val’s clothes should fit.’ She thought to herself as she pranced across the room to the walk in closet.

“Holy crap! Val, you have a serious problem.” Stacy was referring to the five shelves of shoes ranging from flat bottomed dolly shoes to thigh high dagger heals, she grabbed a pair of denim shorts which turned into hot pants on Stacy, she had a bigger backside than her Alpha female and more of a curvaceous body too, the vest top barely reached her naval, but the look worked, she threw on her combat boots and flicked her hair back.

“That’ll do.” She said to the mirror as she admired how good her Alpha’s clothes looked on her, Stacy knew that Val was taller, but she never realized that Val was actually very petite, “I guess Dom likes members of the itty, bitty, titty committee,” she joked before exiting the suite and heading for the kitchen.

Val and Dom were already eating, and the Enforcers had finished and were waiting for Stacy, she didn’t waste any time in walking over to Micky and whispering in his ear, he nodded his reply then Stacy spoke.

“Ok guys listen up, I have been neglecting my duties as Beta and as head Enforcer, unfortunately that isn’t going to change right away, we have a new Wolf joining us, he is a bitten so he needs someone to one help, so I am putting Micky in charge, treat his orders as though they were mine,” the gathered Enforcers nodded, “That being said, if you need anything, don’t hesitate to seek me out, I’m not hiding from my responsibilities anymore, I am sorry it has taken me so long to get my shit together.”

“Hey it’s ok boss, you lost a lot more than a friend, we all grieve in our own ways, but it is awesome to see you smiling again.” Said Micky as he looked up at her from his seat.

Stacy nodded and headed for Val and Dom who by now had realized that their Beta was wearing Val’s clothes, “So Kyle was sleeping then?”

“However did you guess?” Stacy replied sarcastically.

“Do me a favor hunnie, keep that outfit, it fits you so much better.” Val added with a saucy wink.

“So you will be training him?” Dominic asked while sipping at his coffee,

Stacy shrugged, “He is my responsibility, I convinced him to turn, its only right I teach him how to control his Wolf.”

Dominic nodded, “You are building feelings for him.”

Val smiled, “Stay out of her head darling, her feelings are none of our business.”

Dominic kissed his Mates shoulder, “I don’t need to be in her head to see the change in her, but you are right,” he addressed Stacy directly, “It is none of our business.”

Stacy grabbed Dom’s coffee and took a sip, “That’s right, and who the hell made your coffee?”

Val laughed hard, “See I told you she would know.”

“I did, I can never get it the same as you.”

Stacy stood and walked over to the coffee machine, she poured a fresh cup and added something to it before placing it back in Dominic’s hand, he took a sip and smiled, “One day you are going to tell me what you put in this.”

“No, I don’t think I will,” Stacy looked at Val and the two of them laughed as if they had some big secret.

“You two will be the death of me,”

“No Boss, if you keep making your own coffee you will be the death of you.” Stacy stood and bowed her head to the Alpha pair, something she hadn’t done since being made Beta, “I will be in the woods at Riverside, and I assume the builders are Preter friendly?”

“They are, just shift away from the complex, you don’t want to scare them.” Dominic replied.

“We will keep to the outcrop, I want him to master his shift before we work on anything else, I get the feeling his emotions are still very strong, and keeping his Wolf at bay will be difficult for him.”

“You might be surprised, Micky had very strong emotions, and he learned very quickly how to control the change, I hope Kyle is as lucky.” Dominic added as Stacy began to walk away.

“She really does fill out those shorts,” Valaria commented as she tilted her head to get a better view.

“Hey, she is my Beta, not your play thing.”

“Ooooh. Do I get to have a play thing?” Valaria’s voice was filled with lust, “Just a little she-wolf?”

“If you think you can find one, then you go right ahead my love, just remember, you are mine.” Dominic added as he bit down on her exposed shoulder leaving a claiming mark behind.
