Kidnapped By The Crab
Crab’s King POV
I had barely stepped foot into King karn’s kingdom when my irritation began boiling, he was the Alien king.
Everything about the place was loud and restless, the metallic halls, the echoing footsteps, the guards constantly shouting orders. Even the air carried a bitter smell I disliked.
My council walked behind me. Mira, Lira, and Rena, my three mistresses stayed close, watching everything with quiet caution. Karn was known for two things: his unpredictable temper and his stubborn ego. Meeting him was always a gamble.
We entered the waiting chamber, a wide room made of dark stone and pulsing lights. While we waited for Karn to join us, my council gathered around.
Dren, my strategist, shook his head. “My king, we must remember, Karn is easily angered. If we push too hard on the border deal, he might explode.”
“He explodes over everything,” I muttered.
Mira nodded. “Last season he threw a chair at his own advisor.”
Rena snorted. “That’s nothing. He smashed a whole table because someone told him he was wrong.”
Lira whispered, “He even threatened the sky traders because they brought his drink too warm.”
My antenna twitched. “Exactly why I hate meeting him.”
Everyone went silent. They knew my temper wasn’t soft either. One sudden disagreement from King Karn and this whole room could turn into chaos.
Dren cleared his throat. “My king… perhaps we should avoid mentioning the border fees until he is in a calm mood.”
“karn never has a calm mood,” I replied.
We all fell quiet. The distant sound of drums echoed through the kingdom. Outside, a large crowd gathered. Karn always liked parading his victories and his trophies for everyone to see.
I sat at the long metal table, lowering my voice. “If he disagrees with me again, I will not hold back.”
Mira laid a hand on my arm gently. “Just try, my king. He is unpredictable.”
“He is ridiculous,” I corrected. “And if he shouts at me again, he will regret it.”
Rena smirked proudly. “That’s my king.”
But before I could say more, my microscope scanner beeped.
I frowned. “What now?”
I tapped the screen.
A live image appeared, the parade happening right outside King Karn’s palace. Drums beat loudly. Alien soldiers marched in rows. Crowds shouted and clapped.
The noise was so loud that I almost turned it off, but something caught my attention, making me freeze. There she was, a girl!!
A human girl walking slowly between two guards. She wasn’t dressed like a queen or a soldier. She was dressed like something rare, something fragile, something Karn wanted the world to admire exposed in her translucent gown. Chains of glowing silver wrapped her wrists lightly. Her hair caught the light like soft fire.
She looked frightened. Alone. Too beautiful for the harsh world around her.
My heart slammed against my ribs.
“What is that?” Rena asked, stepping closer.
“A human,” Mira breathed.
Lira covered her mouth. “She is being paraded…”
I zoomed in again. Her name appeared on the scan.
Aurora.
The moment I saw her eyes, uncertain, soft, shining I felt something shift violently inside me. My antenna shook so hard I barely noticed Dren calling my name.
“My king? Are you alright?”
“No,” I whispered. “I am not.”
Rena looked at me. “You’re staring too hard. Do you… want her?”
This was a dangerous question to answer, the alien king is powerful and might be so angry by my words, but a risk will always be a risk.
“I need her,” I said.
Dren blinked in shock. “My king, she belongs to Karn's royal collection. If you take her ”
“I don’t care.”
Mira gasped. “karn will disagree. He will fight you.”
“Let him,” I growled. “He always disagrees.”
I stood, pushing my chair back.
Rena smirked. “Oh, this is going to be good.”
Lira whispered nervously, “King Karn will lose his mind…”
“He already has no mind,” I said. “I’m going to get the girl.”
Without waiting for anyone, I stormed toward the exit. My council scrambled behind me, calling my name softly, but nothing could pull my eyes away from the image of Aurora.
I marched onto the balcony overlooking the parade. The entire crowd turned and bowed. They thought I came to greet Karn.
No.
I came for her, I raised my voice in my own language, letting it echo across the kingdom:
“Nara’tesh valiri… I have never seen such a human before.”
Everyone was shocked by my words, the guards shouted. Some pointed toward me in panic. They knew I wasn’t supposed to interfere.
“I don't think we should do this!!! One said, “Don't tell me what to do!!! I yelled back, this was my only time and my only chance to steal something from the Alien king, something precious and dared to him.
He is known for being powerful, mighty and strong, but I will use something he takes rarely as his downfall, I didn't care what the consequences might be.
In one swift motion, I ran to the landing platform where my jet was stationed. I jumped inside, slammed the hatch shut, and launched myself downward.
The jet cut through the parade smoke. People screamed. Soldiers ran. Karn’s guards tried to shield Aurora, but they were too slow.
I deployed my mechanical scoop, a massive curved fork and it shot down like lightning. It slid under Aurora with perfect precision. She cried out, gripping the edge as it lifted her into the air.
The guards shouted, reaching upward, but the scoop jerked free of their hands.
She rose into the open hatch of my jet, I hit the seal button, Hiss.
The door closed, the atmosphere was filled with a lot of silence.
Aurora stumbled backward, breathing fast, eyes wide with terror and confusion. She stared at me like I was something monstrous.
Maybe I was.But I knew this, She was not going back to Karn. Not ever.
I stepped toward her slowly.
“My name is king Karaye Zaro ,” I said gently.
“I am your king now.”
