Chapter 28 Sebastian, Likes Minors?

Chapter 28 Sebastian, Likes Minors?

Eve curled her lips into a smile and shot her hand out like lightning, grabbing Marcus's left hand.

A sharp "crack" echoed, immediately followed by Marcus's muffled groan.

"Sis..."

Eve moved too fast. Before Mason could finish his shout, she had already pulled her hand back and returned to sit in her chair.

She even lazily let out a yawn.

"If you want your hand back to normal, the only way is to break it and reset the bones."

What?

Eve had shocked them too many times. The group of teenage boys were completely stunned.

All they could do was gasp stupidly.

She broke it?

"Now try moving it. Can you still feel anything?"

Perhaps feeling she hadn't shocked these kids enough, Eve dropped another bombshell.

She reconnected it?

She reconnected it just like that?

The group looked at each other, and finally all their burning gazes fell on Marcus's left hand.

They saw Marcus, the main person involved, shaking his left hand like an idiot.

The expression on his face changed from initial confusion to surprise, then to pure joy.

Thump!

Before anyone could react, his knees went weak and he dropped down in front of Eve.

"I'm tired. Going back to sleep. You guys handle the rest yourselves!"

Back in the dorm, Eve had a good sleep.

She had no idea that after a night of buzz, her name Eve was once again echoing throughout the entire high school.

"Did you know? That Eve from sophomore year is actually a gaming legend."

"Eve? That Eve who got first place in the math competition?"

"What are you talking about? Don't tell me you still don't know - Eve is a genius in medicine. They say she can even cure cancer."

"Math genius, gaming legend, and medical genius? Oh my god, can someone tell me which window God actually closed for her?"

...

At this moment, Eve, at the center of all this buzz, was being woken up by an unexpected phone call.

She irritably scratched her messy hair and glared at the phone that had disturbed her sweet dreams.

She silently swore that this person better have something really important, or else...

She cracked her wrist and glanced at the caller ID.

It was actually Sebastian.

Thinking of this man's mysterious nature, Eve rarely suppressed her temper and didn't blow up on the spot.

"Get to the point."

Even so, her words came out ice-cold.

Sebastian was completely immune to this. His magnetic voice still carried a hint of amusement.

"Ms. Moore, I heard Emerald City's breakfast is quite famous. I wonder if I'd have the honor of inviting Ms. Moore to share breakfast?"

He disturbed her sleep just to have breakfast?

Was there something wrong with Sebastian's brain?

"No!" She coldly replied, hung up directly, tossed the phone aside, closed her eyes, and prepared to continue her date with sleep.

Beep beep beep—

The phone kept ringing.

As if Sebastian would just keep calling until Eve answered.

"Damn Sebastian, you're dead."

She roared, completely unable to sleep with this disturbance.

Eyes open, answer the phone. "If you can appear in front of me within ten minutes, I don't mind having breakfast with you."

"One minute is enough!" Sebastian chuckled softly. "Ms. Moore, look downstairs."

No way?

She pulled back the curtains and looked down. In front of the black Maybach, a tall figure stood - who else could it be but Sebastian?

This sneaky man was really something.

He was already downstairs before calling her. Was he certain she would agree?

Fine, very fine!

Eve didn't want to admit it, but she was a bit angry.

Get up, change clothes.

Ten minutes later, Eve appeared in front of Sebastian wearing a red outfit with matching makeup and red boots.

"Mr. Cole, what's your favorite animal?"

Sebastian froze.

"No need to answer. I know - you must love dogs the most. Because you're very dog-like."

Heh heh heh!

Sebastian smiled, knowing he had made Eve angry.

Being cursed at was his own fault.

He didn't plan to make an issue of it. He gentlemanly opened the car door, gesturing for Eve to get in.

He completely missed Chase the driver's jaw dropping wide enough to fit an egg.

Boss, you just got cursed out?

And you're happy about it?

Does the boss have masochistic tendencies?

The car sped along and stopped in front of a tasteful breakfast place by the sea.

Eve squinted and looked over the breakfast shop, nodding with satisfaction.

Once inside, looking at the dazzling array of breakfast options, little stars appeared in her eyes.

Not bad. Worth getting out of bed for.

While Eve looked at the breakfast, Sebastian's gaze stayed on Eve's face, naturally not missing those lively expressions.

A hint of affection flashed in his eyes, along with faint doubt.

'Phantom' - could it be you?

Would the former top female assassin also have such a lively side?

"Mr. Cole, can I ask you something?" Full and satisfied, Eve squinted like a lazy kitten, comfortably leaning back in her chair, looking at the turbulent sea outside.

"Please, Ms. Moore!"

Sebastian became interested. A question that interested Eve probably wasn't simple.

"Is Mr. Cole planning to pursue me?" Eve cut straight to the point, her beautiful eyes slightly narrowed, with cunning light flashing through them.

Just like a sly fox.

"Would Ms. Moore agree?" Sebastian didn't deny it, instead throwing the question back to Eve.

Testing me?

Eve smiled, casually tucking her long hair behind her ear. "I didn't realize Mr. Cole likes minors."

Pfft!

Sebastian, who was leisurely drinking his morning tea, was so shocked by Eve's words that he spat it out.

He looked at Eve helplessly.

Counting the years - graduating middle school at seventeen, now a sophomore, she should be at least nineteen.

Already an adult.

What's wrong with him pursuing her?

How did it become liking minors?

If this got out, his image would be ruined.

"Gentleman, gentleman." Eve looked disapprovingly at the food on the table. "Even if I called out your true feelings, you don't need to react so strongly, right?"

Sebastian felt a toothache coming on.

"Don't worry, I won't look down on you." Eve continued to needle him.

Ugh!

Sebastian felt a bit of regret.

He must have been bored and looking for trouble to voluntarily appear in front of Eve and get needled.

However, thinking of the news he'd accidentally obtained, he dropped the helpless expression from his face.

He waved his hand, signaling the server to come clear the table and set out fresh tea and snacks.

Only then did he look seriously at Eve.

"Ms. Moore, want to hear a story?"
