Chapter 305: When It Comes to Hurting Amelia, I Can't Compare to You, William

Chapter 305: When It Comes to Hurting Amelia, I Can't Compare to You, William

The child...

William's fists clenched tight.

That was the child he had always wanted.

Now, it was just gone like that.

She was already disappointed in him and didn't want any connection with him anymore.

If someone hadn't exposed it, she would never have let him know in her entire life that they had a second child.

And look at Isabella.

She was still pretending and still trying to make excuses.

Faking illness in order to play the victim!

Did she think that as long as she cried, he would forgive her like he used to do?

Maybe it was because he had given her that impression before, that was why she had acted so recklessly.

But his past tolerance was only for that agreement.

For the person he wanted to protect, he had endured.

"Isabella, the test results are out. What more do you want?" William's eyes were bloodshot, locked on Isabella.

Looking at William's angry face, Isabella's heart filled with hatred.

She hated Amelia.

She knew that faking illness would definitely be exposed, but it was a matter of timing.

Once she married William, she would use gentler methods to make everything transition smoothly.

She could even soften William's heart by getting pregnant.

She knew William had always wanted a child—it was his obsession.

She had almost succeeded.

"Speak!" William roared.

Isabella flinched. Bursting into tears, she explained, "That organization deceived me. They made me think I had cancer so they could sell medicine. I..."

"Isabella!" William couldn't take it anymore. He stood up, grabbed her by the collar, and pinned her against the headboard.

"Do you really think I don't know anything?" His voice was low, pitiful and pathetic.

Isabella's mind was racing.

"Answer me!" William bellowed.

"I faked the illness, so what!" Isabella shouted back.

It was all Amelia's fault!

Everything was Amelia's fault!

It was Amelia who put her in this situation!

The more she thought about it, the more her hatred grew wildly.

Isabella's eyes were full of hate—hatred for Amelia.

"Amelia is already with York, why did she come to ruin my plans!" Isabella's chest heaved violently with anger. "What more does she want? To have it all?"

William couldn't believe what he was hearing.

Isabella's chest continued to heave violently as she stared hard at William.

"So what if you know! Amelia is a bitch!"

The next moment, William's hand pressed on her shoulder, his face twisted.

He looked at Isabella in disbelief.

What was all this?

Why was Isabella like this?

Why would she say such things?

Isabella looked at him and laughed mockingly, "Want to hit me? Is this how you drove Amelia away back then?"

The louder she spoke, the more her body trembled with excitement.

"You pushed her," she went on, her eyes wide and full of malice. "You pushed her down the stairs with your own hands. You did it. You killed your child with your own hands. You took half her life, hahaha..."

"Isabella!" William roared in fury.

But Isabella kept laughing.

"You blame me for faking illness, but did I force you to push her? Did I force you to kill her child?" Isabella said loudly, her voice shaking with excitement. "It was you! You! And now you want to blame this on me. William, you're shameless!"

"Shut up!" William roared. Every word Isabella said was like a blade, stabbing hard into his heart. "Isabella, shut up!"

"I won't!" Isabella shouted. "You keep saying I hurt Amelia, but let me tell you, I may have my flaws, but when it comes to hurting Amelia, I can't compare to you, William!"

William's fist slammed hard into the bed frame beside him, making a huge noise.

At this moment, his eyes were full of bloodshot veins and his face was twisted, making him look like a wounded beast.

He was terrifying!

Isabella trembled with fear.

But she had to shift the blame. After all, no one knew what she did in that stairwell that day. She would make William bear the responsibility!

With that thought, she started crying again and said through her tears, "I faked the illness, but William, if I had not faked it, would you have pitied me? Would you have stayed with me? You wouldn't have even looked at me!"

Retreat to advance—she was very skilled at this tactic.

But William wasn't falling for it anymore.

"Just for this?" William was nearly breaking down—there were tears in his eyes.

Just for this, she had used all kinds of tricks and lies to deceive him and to hurt Amelia?

"Yes, just for this!" Isabella panicked. She grabbed William's hand and said loudly, "William, I love you! Don't you love Amelia? Haven't you always wanted her to come back? I feel the same way about you, William. Everything I did was for you. I became like this because of you. William, we have the same feelings, so you can understand me, right?"

"Get lost!" William screamed.

How dare she make such a comparison!

"Isabella, I will never let you off!" William vowed, giving her a cold glare.

Isabella froze, her whole body trembling.

She remembered what William had Rhys do after her fake depression was exposed last time.

Back then, William still had some pity for her; he still believed she was dying, and wanted to fulfill their agreement. But this time...

William definitely wouldn't hold back.

"No!" Isabella said loudly. "William, don't forget about the incident that happened a year ago! They originally sent documents wanting Amelia to go, but I, who knew nothing, went to the appointment instead. I took the fall for her!"

Isabella trembled as she stared into William's eyes, threatening, "Don't forget our agreement! I became like this all because of that day! If I hadn't gone to that appointment, I would still be a kind and good person now! You and Amelia owe me! You need me to keep the secret and not tell anyone!"

But William's hand around Isabella's neck kept tightening.

He was filled with hatred!

He had never realized he could hate someone this much!

In their original agreement, there was also an element of exchange and threat, but Isabella hadn't said it so explicitly.

He had thought that since she was dying soon, once the agreement was fulfilled, everything would be completely resolved.

Everything, all secrets, would disappear with Isabella's death and everything would return to the starting point.

Six months, just six months.

But now... he realized that what Isabella wanted wasn't just these six months.
