Can I sleep here?

Can I sleep here?
Reacting furiously, Simon struck Pierre's chin and would have hit him many more times if Paulina hadn't run towards the exit. He followed her, managing to catch up with her outside just as she was about to descend the stairs. He held onto her arm to stop her.
"Get your dirty hands off me!" she demanded, her face twisted in anger, shaking her arm free from his grasp.
"Paulina, wait... let's talk first," he said.
"Let go of me! All this time you deceived me, made me think..." She glared at him with hatred. "We have nothing to talk about."
Simon heard footsteps behind him. He knew there were many people watching them, but he didn't care about the looks around him. He needed to fix the damage Pierre had caused.
"We have a lot to talk about," he replied, determined to make her listen. "My love, remember the days and nights we spent together..."
"It was just sex, and I'm not your love, I'm not yours at all."
"No! With you it's different. I feel complete, and I know you feel the same way."
"I never felt anything, it was just sex," Paulina repeated coldly.
"It wasn't just sex, damn it!" he shouted. He closed his eyes and controlled his anger. Yelling wouldn't help. "Paulina, I know you're angry, but listen to me..."
Instead of listening, she hit him with a precise blow to the face. The surprise made him let go of her.
"I hate you and never want to see you again," she said, running back down the stairs and signaling the first taxi that appeared before Simon could react.
"Don't worry, Salvatore... There are plenty of women like her, my friend," Pierre taunted, appearing at his side. "And you know very well how to find them, don't you?"
Simon advanced towards him, but the white dog stood between them, a row of sharp teeth forcing Salvatore to keep his distance.
"Now you need animals to defend you, Renoir?" Pierre challenged, causing an outburst of laughter.
Translate to English perfectly, changing any expression that may sound strange:
"My security has that female under control, very different from you with Perez's bitch."
"Don't push your luck, even with your lackey by your side," Simon growled through gritted teeth. "I swear I'll smash that smug grin of yours until there isn't a single tooth left."
"Don't make promises you can't keep, Salvatore," Pierre sneered, standing behind Tony and his dog Gaia.
Simon wanted to grab Pierre, even if it meant getting bitten by the dog. It would be worth it.
"Enough with the fighting, Simon," Tamara pleaded, holding onto his closed fist. "It's not worth it."
"Listen to her, Salvatore. She knows I'm more powerful than you. You were the first, but I swear each of you will pay me until I get what I want," he promised, touching the spot where Saadi had injured him, his gaze firm on her. "It's only a matter of time," he finished, returning to the hall.
"Ignore him," Tamara insisted, used to her ex-husband's threats.
"You should go after Paulina," Gabriel advised.
"That's exactly what I'll do."
Following his friends' advice, Simon sought out the valet service to retrieve his car and drove as fast as he was allowed back home. Minutes later, he arrived at the apartment, searching for Perez from room to room.
"Paulina!"
To his despair, it quickly became clear that she wasn't home. She hadn't taken anything, no clothes or personal belongings, leading him to a worrying conclusion. To confirm his suspicion, he called the front desk.
He ran his fingers through his hair with worry, messing up his black locks. Paulina was hurt, feeling betrayed. What would be her first option to hide from him?

With her eyes tingling and her face wet, Paulina stopped in front of the door and rang the bell. She had thought a lot after running away from the charity event, wandering aimlessly until she made a decision. The taxi driver, an older man who showed sympathy for her crying, endured her incoherent speech until she indicated a final destination.
Weighing the pros and cons amidst the chaos in her head, of what to do, where to go, who to trust, she ended up providing the address where she would be judged the least for her stupidity.
She paid the fare with her card, adding an extra amount to compensate for the driver's patience. Then she stood in front of that door, waiting anxiously for it to be opened.
The tears in her eyes continued to flow mercilessly when she was finally answered and asked with a choked voice:
"Can I sleep here?"

Simon
Missed voice call at 7:20 PM
Paulina, where are you? We need to talk.
Give me a chance to explain.
Missed voice call at 7:33 PM
I called every place I could think of to find you and no one knows where you are. I'm worried.
Just please let me know if you're okay.
~S2~
The hot and pleasant water flowed over Paulina's skin. The steam in the shower created the sensation of a protective dome, warming and covering her trembling body dominated by tears. But it was time to get out, she couldn't stay in the shower forever. She turned off the water and reached for the folded clothes on the sink, grabbing the borrowed towel.
She looked for a place where she wouldn't be judged or ridiculed, and thank God, she was welcomed. But no matter where she ran, her mind played that merciless role. She was so stupid to trust and believe in Simon! He must be laughing at her naivety.
She dried herself off and put on the T-shirt with the print, not surprised that it looked like a dress on her. She kept the same underwear on, wrapping the bra in the gorgeous dress that the traitor had given her. Another wave of hot tears flowed furiously.
She pushed them away with distress, needing to regain her balance to think about the next steps. There was a pot on the sink with a hairbrush, comb, and scissors. She took the brush to untangle her hair, finding it somewhat difficult since there was no conditioner or hair cream in the bathroom. However, the pain in her scalp was nothing compared to the pain that was tearing her heart apart.
With an irritated grumble after the brush got stuck in another knot, she put the object back in the pot, her eyes tingling as she stared at the tangled strands in the mirror's reflection. Her vision was truly depressing... Conducive to memories...
"Slowly, he spread her hair over the pillow so that it covered it completely with the blue-black strands. 'I love your hair,' he said."
Just by recalling Salvatore's words and preferences, a fiery anger spread through her veins, causing her hand to return to the pot with determination and blind hatred.
