Chapter 31: Jealous
~Tricia
My body went numb and I couldn't move. My breathing became shallow, as if something was suffocating me from within. My knees begin to weaken and my vision begins to blur, the world around me begins to spin, and the next thing I know, Seth has me by the waist.
"Trica! What the hell is going on with you?" I can still hear his concerned voice as he slips one arm behind my knees and the other around my shoulder. He carried me in a bridal style. I snagged my slim arms around his neck, snuggling my face into the crook, smelling his spicy mint scent.
I notice that we were walking to his car, and he had properly placed me in the back seat, but he tripped and fell right above me. My heart is racing as if I were running ten miles back and forth. His nose is barely touching mine, and his luscious lips are only millimeters away. I can see the desire and passion in his dark pair of whirlpool eyes. The mere sensation of his body pressing against mine sends a thousand volts through my system.
"Why do I always feel this way when you're close?" I said groggily.
"I don't know." He replied softly, his breaths fanned around my face, inhaling his minty breath.
"My heart is racing." I stated.
"Me, too." His response.
With that, he lowered his head, his lips locked into mine, sending shivers down my spine. I gasped in surprise as he bit my bottom lip. He thrust his tongue inside without hesitation, savoring my mouth and our tongues competing for dominance. It's as if my mind has separated from my body, leaving my brain empty, and I grab a handful of his hair, deepening his kisses. His hand slides from my shoulders to my hips, following my curves, and his other gently squeezes on my mound, his lips leaving my mouth. I was about to protest when he planted wet kisses from my jaw down to the line in the middle of my bosom, causing me to moan. I arched my back, pressing into his Greek god sculpture, moaning even louder with the sensations that my body is experiencing right now. Something hard pokes between my thighs. What the heck was that!

I was the one driving his car and thank you for the love of God, he just let me without saying a word.
His expression never changes, he's still emotionless, and it irritates the hell out of me.
But, you know, I get it. I don't think he'll be overjoyed when he learns that the woman he thought had asthma, and even worse, his fiancée, is the same woman who poisoned him. Though it wasn't actually a poison, he believes it was.
We arrived at my hotel in silence, and I proceeded to the back of the building. This is where all of the waste from this side is dumped. You might think it's just another side-wall at first glance, but beneath the tin garbage can is a secret button.
I jump out of the car, took out the trash, and pushed the small red dot that had been planted on the ground. The wall slides open to reveal a small tunnel that connects to my private parking lot and is just wide enough for a car to pass through. I got back in inside, giving sideway glances to Seth as we drove through the tunnel. He had his attention to the surrounding we’re in, his face is still expressionless.
I’m curious of what he’s been thinking. Maybe he's plotting a hundred different ways to murder me. Like hell I’m going to let that happen.
My thoughts shifted to Kiro, and I wonder how he is. Gosh! I just left her with Henna! I'm hoping that bastard hasn't awoken yet. Not until I'm done with this crap I'm on in. I want him to see my face first when he opens his goddamned eyes.
"We're here." I announced as I gently step on the foot brake.
He just looked at me for a second and turn his eyes all over the place. He didn't say anything as he got out of the car, and I did the same.
I quickly push the elevator button, and it slides open and enters first. He comes to a halt in front of the elevator door, facing me, and looks me in the eyes. I'm sure he's debating whether he should come or not. I sigh, does he think I'll do something bad? Well, I can’t blame him. After knowing who I really am, who would not? I tricked him once.
"Trust me, I'm not going to do anything." I stated firmly. That was difficult, you know, especially since I'm on the verge of saying sorry.
I mentally laugh at the thought of the great Azoukawa Clan Ranshio apologizing to someone.
This is not so me!
"Trust? Do you think I'll trust you after what you've done to me?" He fumed, just as I expected. Oh, Tricia, don't let his words bring you down. Keep your head up, girl.
I raise my chin and give him a blank stare. I was going to tell him everything right now, but it appears that he is unwilling to accompany me.
Hell! At the very least, he could have told me earlier so I wouldn't have to bother bringing him here. I'm sure he feels betrayed by what he found. I've also been there, that moment when I realized Dad was a fucking damn mafia boss.
And if he thinks I'll kneel and kiss his feet for forgiveness, I guess we'll have to meet in hell first.
Even though I had strange feelings about him being close to me, I will never do that.
"Okay, it's your call. I'm not going to force you." I said as I was about to press the button, but he rushed in just as the door closed.
I mentally smirk, playing hard to get.
Curiosity can truly kill the cat.
Not that I intend to kill him. Let's just say the first time we met, I was really going to. But that was before, and I believe I've changed my mind already.
However, I think our feelings are mutual. I'll never forget how the first time he saw me, he threw a fucking shuriken at me.
(Ting)
We didn't dare to spit a single word as the elevator stops. On the side of the buttons there is a small scanner. I gently place my palm on it then the door slides open.
My eyes went wide as I came to an abrupt stop.
I wasn't expecting what I saw the moment we walked into my penthouse. If only my eyeballs could literally pop out of their sockets, I'm sure they'd be rolling around on the floor right now.
"KIRO! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, pointing my index finger at him, split second after had recovered from what I had seen.
His neck snapped to my direction, away from the computer monitor, as he jumped. He seemed to be engrossed in some sort of online computer game.
Thank goodness I quickly averted my gaze and didn't see anything I shouldn't have.
"Tricia, you freak the shit out of my ass! Why do you have to shout?" He hissed, quickly gripping the hem of the cloth that covered his private first-class member.
Okay, now I'll tell you about what I saw. Who wouldn't be surprised if you came across a man who was almost completely naked?
Thanks to that small towel that dangerously wraps around his hips, exposing the depth of his V line and barely covering God knows what. His hair is wet, and droplets continue to drip from his blazing hot body.
Shoot! Fucking shoot! I forgot he doesn't have any clothes here, damn it!
I heard him mumble something in Japanese, but I'm not sure what he's saying.
Someone suddenly cleared their throat, which drew our attention.
Great, I also forgot Seth was here with me.
Imagine me with these two males, and one of them is just missing a flip and is about to get naked, fuck!
You have no idea how awkward this is.
"Hey, I recognize you." Kiro furrowed his brows and pointed his finger at the man behind me. In response, Seth only raised his brows.
"Yeah, I knew it! You're the famous Night Owl from Japan!" He jumps, and I quickly turn away, closing my eyes. I don't want to see anything forbidden.
Can't he not see that there's a girl around here?
Wait, did he just say Night Owl? I heard about that assassin. He's known for his silent movements when he's about to assassinate someone.
I had no idea it was Seth.
“I’m a big fan of yours.” Kiro continues by walking towards Seth's and thrusting his hand forward, beaming like an idiot. The scowling monster only glared at his hand.
So that's explain why I can't feel his presence when he creeps up behind me.
“Tyotto baka, ha watasi no heya ni iki , watasi no hikidasi de ikutu ka no matomo nahuku wo mituke te kudasai.”
[Hey stupid, go to my room and find some decent clothes at my drawer.]
I snarl at Kiro while keeping my eyes closed. I'm sure I still have some unused oversize tee shirts, loose sweatpants, and unisex boxer shorts in my drawer.
“Gomennasai. Watasi ha o huro ni hairu tumori ha nai nodeare ba, watasi ha zyaaku ni naru to kanzi masu. Watasi ha koko de hoka no huku wo moxtu te imasen.”
[I'm sorry. I just feel uneasy if I'm not going to take a bath. I don't have any other clothes here.]
After that, I heard footsteps shuffling away. I sigh, open my eyes, and turn to face Seth, who is still standing behind me, watching as Kiro enters the room I directed him to.
To be fair, he is no longer emotionless, as he was previously, but his facial expressions are also not good. I'm not sure whether I should be scared or relieved.
His brows had become entwined. And if only the looks could kill. Kiro would almost certainly be dead by now.
"I see you're letting a man into your room as well." He stated, tearing his gaze away from the corridor where Kiro had gone.
What on earth did he mean by that? Is he thinking I'm some kind of whore?
"Hey! It's not what you think—" He cut me off.
"Tsk, I should've known better. Let's get straight to business, shall we? Just like you've always said, this is all about business."
Business? Like what the fuck?!
What's the deal with this guy? And what business is he talking about? Yeah, I know I told him that would I will explain everything about what he saw, that I was Violet. I didn't say anything about business, but — wait, could he be jealous?
That is not possible. Why and who will he be jealous of?
Kiro?
"No." I looked at Seth with a frown.
What 'no'?
"Huh?" I asked in confusion, don't tell me that he can read my mind?
"If you're wondering if I'm jealous, the answer is no, I'm not. The fuck I care about you." He said angrily but I can see on his eyes saying the otherwise.
I felt a flash of pain in my chest while listening to his words, but I pushed it away. I'm not going to be distracted by his words.
He does not care about me?
Then why did he follow me into that fucking barn? I was awake during the whole kidnapping shit that happened a while ago.
I fucking know what's going on around me at the time, and for Pete's sake, they haven't called anyone to inform them that I've been kidnapped.
So, what exactly is he doing there? How did he know I was in that place? Don't tell me he just happened to be there by chance.
"So, what are you doing back there?" I asked him blankly. He wasn't expecting me to ask him that. I see his face hardens, and I noticed the way he clenches his jaw.
"Why? Does it make a difference to you what I was doing there? Will it change the fact that you and the woman who tricked me are the same person?" He retorted and I was silenced by what that.
That got me thinking.
Does that really matter to me?
I'm not sure. I honestly don't know. Why is he telling me this? What does he want me to do? Does he want me to parade myself in front of everybody with a stamp card on my forehead that I am an assassin?
He can't blame me for that! It’s not my fault that those bastards took me. It wasn't my fault he followed me there and found out the truth about me.
I'm not sure what it was, but something inside me twisted, but I shoved it away and steeled myself. I keep my face void of any emotion as I replied to him.
“So, what do you want me to do? Do you want me to apologize? Do you want me to get down on my knees in front of you and beg? Let me tell you something, we'll see each other first in hell before that happens.”
He holds my gaze for a split second before laughing. It was the kind of emotionless laugh that made my skin crawl.
"You know what, you're right, and I've just realized something. I don't care who or what you are." He stormed out of my place after he said that.
He doesn't care about me? I don't give a damn about that! In the first place, I don't need him to care about me.
I think it was a huge mistake to bring him here in the first place.
I'd exposed far too much about myself to him in an instant, and I'm now treading on a razor's edge.
"Tricia!" Kiro called me crashing all my thoughts, I saw him poking his head out from the room where I place Henna.
"What?" I approached him, thankful that he was dressed. He was wearing a white t-shirt that fit him well and gray sweatpants.
"He's starting to wake up."
Good.
I suppose it's about time.
