Chapter 67

Trey’s POV

“What do you mean you don’t want Sasha in exchange for Liz? You obviously know you have the wrong woman, so what’s the big deal?” I growled.

“You have no idea who this woman really is, do you?” The blonde man said.

“What are you talking about? I’ve known her my whole life!”

“Look, mutt, you may as well forget about her. I’ll give you money to compensate you driving here with Sasha but she’s the last of my concerns right now.” He said.

Sasha looked gleeful yet sad at the same time. “So you don’t care about our baby?” She said. So this must be the royal she got knocked up by.

“At the moment, no. Talk to me when the kid is born.” He said. She sniffed a little but nodded her head in dejection.

I walked outside with Sasha after a witch unbound her. “Well, I guess there you have it, you may as well give up. The royals have spoken and their word is absolute.” She said.

“I’ll never give up on Liz.”

Eliza’s POV

“What do you mean?” I gasped.

“Your fiancé is on his way here and we need to make you presentable.” The maid once again spoke. I heard her the first time but had no idea what she was talking about. Fiance?

“Okay, you’re ready.” I turned and looked at the large mirror and saw I was dressed in a black, silky dress with my hair down and muted makeup except for the bright red lipstick.

Knock, knock, knock

The large door opened and in came Marcus. “I’m sorry about before princess, it won’t happen again.” He bowed low in apology.

“I guess it’s fine, but I’m extremely confused. What does she mean that my fiancé is coming here? I’m not engaged.” I told him.

“I’m waiting for him to explain everything to you, otherwise I would, sorry but it was his request.” He said in reply.

“I see. I guess I’ll have to wait, how long until he’s here?”

Knock, knock, knock

“That’s probably him. We will step out and give you two some privacy.” Marcus and the maid left and in came an extremely tall, good looking man. His hair was dirty blonde, he had green eyes and dimples. I could tell in his fitted suit that he was very well built.

“Ariana.” He spoke low.

“I’m sorry, but my name is Elizabeth.” I replied.

“No, I’m sorry, but your name is Ariana. You’re my betrothed and the last of the earth fallen angels. My name is Liam. It’s truly a pleasure to see you again after all these years.” He spoke so sure of himself but I was utterly confused. “Years ago, the werewolf king tried to capture you from your parents, he killed the whole household but nobody could find you. We all thought you had died, as well. Angels can’t be glamoured, sweetheart. Have you noticed that nobody could compel you, except maybe your sire?”

“That can’t be right. How can I be an angel, I’m a vampire.” I told him, shocked.

“You’re a fallen angel, so though you were once a full blooded angel, your family was kicked out of the heavens and lost most of your magical ability. The only thing that we know is your family couldn’t be glamoured. But don’t worry, you have me. We were betrothed at birth since our families were such good friends with each other. I’ll take care of you from now on, don’t worry.” He walked slowly up to me and stared down at my lips before taking my hand and kissing the back of it.

“You’ll never want for anything again.” He promised.

Liam’s POV

Ariana. I couldn’t believe it. To say I cared about my betrothed was an overstatement. I came here under my familial obligations however when I saw her, everything changed. She was the most beautiful woman I ever saw and I wanted her immensely.

I kissed her hand and walked out of the room with a smirk. I saw how she looked at me and knew that she’d be mine soon enough.

“There’s one thing that we haven’t told you yet, sir.” Marcus spoke. I looked at him, waiting.

“She pregnant.”

“What?!” I yelled loud enough for the whole castle to hear.

I turned on my heel and rushed back into the room where she was sitting on the bed like a true fallen angel. “Yes?” she said with her sweet, red lips.

“You’re pregnant?” I asked.

“Yes.”

“With who’s baby?” I asked.

“I don’t know if it was Luke or Tanner.” She whispered. Her fingers fidgeted and she played with the hem of her dress. So it could be one of two men. Was she serious about one of them? I weighed my thoughts and controlled my face.

“That’s fine, we will raise him as our own.” I told her before I walked out of the room. I could’ve forced her to abort but I’d rather not have an angry bride. We will just tell everyone that the child is ours. She’s not really showing yet anyway. I smiled. In one day I had a wife and a child. Mother will be so pleased. I sauntered through the halls and noticed a werewolf and a vampire that looked a lot like Ariana at the front gate. Not wanting to get held up in whatever drama they were having, I took a different exit.

I called up my brothers and told them the good news, followed by mother and then father.

I walked around the courtyard, waiting for dinner time so that I could see Ariana once more. I could just go to her room but I wanted to give her time to digest all the news I gave her. For the first time in years, a true smile graced my face. I wonder what a demi god baby and a vampire/angel baby would turn out to be like.

Tanner’s POV

Trey fucked it all up. He called us saying they didn’t want Sasha anymore, they only wanted Eliza. What the fuck happened?

I was pissed off at the world and wandering the streets visiting bar, after bar, trying to get a drunk as possible.

“Fuck everything.” I muttered while kicking a rock on my way to the neighboring bar.

“Hey honey, you need some comfort tonight?” A prostitute called out to me. I looked up at her, long red hair, green eyes and large tits and instantly thought of Lizzy. The thought sobered me up and I shook my head quickly and went home.

“Where the fuck have you been?” Luke pestered me.

“Nowhere, just drinking.” I grunted.

Sasha sat on the couch like she belonged there and just looked between the two of us, not saying a word.

Luke scoffed before turning around to head upstairs.

“Do you want to have some fun before bed?” Sasha tried to tease.

“No thanks,” I gritted out.

I went upstairs and threw myself on the bed, willing sleep to come quickly.

Eliza’s POV

The past few days Liam has been taking me out to the courtyard to talk to me and tell me about my family as well as supernatural history. Though I’ve been kind of enjoying our time together I’ve been extremely worried about my men. I have no idea if they even know where I ended up and I can’t begin to know how to escape. I’ve tried wandering the halls a few times but I always get escorted back to my room. There appears to always be guards. The only time I’m free to move around is when Liam is escorting me.

“Something on your mind, my love?” He questioned.

I sighed, “I feel like I have no choice in the matter. What about love?”

“Sweetheart, duty first, then comes love. That’s how it is among the Big Five.” He said.

“What’s the big five?” I asked, curious.

“Well now it’s the Big Four because we thought all the angels died out but it used to be five. It’s marriages and alliances between the royal vampires, royal witches, royal werewolves, royal demigods and royal angels. You’re royalty sweetheart, as am I.”

I couldn’t believe my ears. Royalty? Me? It all seemed to be so much. Could I be happy with this man? He was extremely handsome, kind, warm.

“What are you?” I asked him.

“I’m a demi-god, princess.” He said proudly.

“I know a couple demi-gods.” I told him.

“Oh really, who?” he asked.

“Their names are Warren and Justin.”

He coughed. “Are you sure?”

“Yes, I worked for Warren and Justin is his brother.”

“Those idiots.” He muttered.

“Pardon me?”

“Those idiots were around you and didn’t recognize you to be my betrothed. They’re my brothers.”

No way. How small is this supernatural world that I’m in?

“We are leaving the castle today and heading out to my estate tonight. If there’s anything you want from here, pack it up.” He took my hand and kissed it again before leading me back to my room.

I plopped on the bed and laid down, my mind racing. How can this be? I rubbed my pregnant belly and wished I were home with my men.
