"We need to go to Xalaria." Ace's voice booms in the spacecraft. My heart thumbs against my chest. No this couldn't be.

"No. You go wherever you want to. Leave me and my kid alone." My voice chills the temperature as I pull Liam's small frame and hug him tight.

My breath heaves up as I see his stare darkening.

"You are not getting it Zephyr. I need to take him there to train him." Ace begins, with an angry huff and I step back.

"I don't care what you. I said leave me and my son alone. That means a no. Aren't you educated enough to know this." I pick Liam up. My arms tightening around his little frame. I want nothing to do with him and his shifty planet.

I am.done having him barging into my life and ruining whatever I hold to my chest.

"This is my only way to save my planet." That’s the last thing I hear before I my vision goes black and my body slumps against the cold.

The bright light hurt my vision as I groan into something soft beneath me. My hands reach out and I found Liam snuggling into a soft pillow.

It takes me a moment to remember what happened last and then everything comes back with a sudden flash.

A heavy gasp escapes my mouth as I push the duvet and look around me. The room is huge something that clearly doesn't belong to the aliens. It's room like I have seen in TV from the medieval time. Intact much upgraded than just that.

To the right of there's a vanity and a huge what I am assuming is a walk in closet. And to the left of me. I step forward. My legs shaking from the anxiety and stress. Of course.

"That’s the balcony. It has a great view you can see the garden from there." Ace's voice booms across the room. Bouncing into an echo.

Startled, I yelp.

"What the hell? Ace!" I curse under my breath and take in heavy exhales.

"You tell me what's wrong with you?" He says and steps forward. My heart drops.

"You were denying to come here and then you are admiring my palace." The audacity of him to question me.

My fingers curl into a fist.

"You!" I begin. The pent up anger from the past years tightening into a knot. "You had the audacity to come into my world love me like there’s no tomorrow. Fake promised a future you clearly didn't want me with and then left me pregnant, alone and to suffered when you had known that I was all alone there." My breath slams into my ribcage.
"And now!" I exhale heavily. "You came back. Kidnapped me and my son here in your palace." I don't know when did I cross the gap between us but the next second my breath mingled with his as I stab my index finger into his pecked chest.

"You don't have the right to come in my life and ruin whatever I hold close to my heart!" Harsh breath escapes my mouth. An insane part of me wanting to slump against his heavy arms. Wanting to be held, consoled, understood. But I don’t give in. Nope. I can't.

"I saved you twice." The bastard reminds me slowly with a glint in his eyes and before I know it the sharp thwack echoes in the room. It registers a second. I have slapped him. I have slapped Ace. The love of my life, the father of my child. The ruin of my heart and soul.

He says nothing. He slowly turns his face look me in the eyes and jump at me for a kiss.
His mouth swallows my own. I give in into his with as wounds his arm around me.

"There are things I have told no body. But want to share them with you. My promises weren't fake neither my love was. It was just the wrong timing but the right person." He murmurs against my mouth and keep sucking onto my lower lip. I don't say anything. I can't.

My fingers weaves into his lustrous hair.

"Mama," liam's voice snaps the reality back into my mind and I shove him away running to Liam.

"Hey baby," I breathe cautiously.

"Mom, I saw in a dream that you married that uncle from the spaceship." Liam sighs as I snuggle into him. My body freeze. I don’t dare glance back at Ace. He will be smug about this all.
