Feel Free

Noel still forced a smile even though she knew that this marriage was also for her safety.

That's because he couldn't distinguish between opponents and friends. All this time he felt that all the nobles were his allies but it turned out that they were plotting assassination secretly. If only Curtis hadn't said all those facts, he wouldn't have known the hypocritical faces of the nobles around him.

"Your Highness, are you not feeling well?" Yura asked.

"No, I'm just tired."

Pretending to be happy was certainly tiring. However, he had to endure it because right now he couldn't make his sister angry. He didn't want her sister to take Samuel away.

In his anxiety, an exotic girl unexpectedly appeared. Graceful, warm-faced and wide-eyed. Her brown skin reminded him of the color of the desert.

"Who is that girl? Where is she from?" Noel asked Yura.

Yura followed Noel's gaze and discovered that the king was interested in a girl from the kingdom of Taran. A rich kingdom that had an abundance of gold and oil.

"She's Serenity's daughter from Taran."

"Oh I didn't realize that Taran had such a beautiful girl."

What a perfect match for a queen. Noel was really attracted to the sexy Serenity. Plus her abundant royal wealth added to the girl's positivity.

Noel no longer thought about embarrassment. He headed over to Serenity and asked her out, which was the center of attention of all the guests present.

Yerenika was also surprised by Noel's move. Her brother had always been very indifferent to girls. In his brain, there seemed to be only power.

"My brother seems to be in love," said Yerenika.

Coincidentally Swana and Curtis were also with Yerenika. So they nodded in agreement with Yerenika's opinion.

"Right, just look at her blushing face. It's really cute," said Swana who giggled.

"Cute...?" Curtis did not like Swana praising another man.

"Ah, I mean, he looks silly. You know you're the only guy I find cute," Swana replied.

Yerenika had initially chuckled at Curtis' jealousy, but now she was stunned by Curtis' shy face when complemented by Swana.

'Are all werewolves that cute?" she asked herself.

Yerenika also glanced at Samuel. Her husband was also looking at her. His eyes widened with an expression that showed he also wanted to be praised.

"My husband is the cutest," whispered Yerenika.

Samuel also blushed. His shy stance turned out to be the same as Curtis'. From this experience, Yerenika learned that werewolves are very cute in front of their Luna.

Now the attention of everyone at Yerenika's wedding was on Noel. He reached out his hand as if to ask Serenity to dance.

"Princess, may I dance with you?" Noel asked. With a flushed face she held out her hand and hoped not to be embarrassed.

Luckily Serenity did not refuse. She happily took Noel's hand. Her beautiful smile also expanded to make Noel's heart skip a beat.

'As a king, I'm so embarrassing. Why am I blushing just because I asked a woman to dance,' Noel lamented to himself.

The music resumed after a halt as the orchestra players were shocked by Noel's actions. Swana and Curtis chose to step aside because of Swana's pregnancy. Meanwhile, Yerenika and Samuel also joined the dance. Tonight everyone seems to be drowning in a sea of love, except for one person. None other than Arsion.

"Amber," called Arsion. He barged into the balcony with the curtains closed. An impolite act because usually, a curtained balcony indicates that the occupant is reluctant to be disturbed.

Amber turned her head, she didn't think that Arsion would catch up with her.

But she was not too happy with Arsion's arrival. Everything about Arsion hurt her, especially when they met in person. Amber didn't even know how long her heart would continue to scream in pain like this. She really wanted to release all the pain she felt before leaving the palace and getting a divorce. However, Arsion's appearance became an obstacle in itself. The man keeps appearing and disturbing her peace of mind.

"Do you have any business with me, Your Highness?"

Arsion approached slowly. His sharp eyes did not move anywhere. It was so that Amber could see his sincerity.

"Yes. I know I have hurt you deeply. I know apologizing does not take away your feelings of anger towards me. Your wish to part with me is well deserved, for I do not deserve to be with the woman I love because of my foolish mistake. "

Amber trembled. She seemed to not believe her ears. But earlier she heard clearly that Arsion said that he loved her.

"Tell me again what you just said?" Amber said.

Arsion did not mind saying what he felt.

"I love you, how stupid I was for not saying it long ago. I thought you knew what I felt without me saying. "

Those were the most beautiful words Amber had ever heard. She couldn't even stop her tears from falling as she got the words she had wanted for so long.

"Really, do you really love me?" Amber asked in a sobbing tone.

Arsion brought his body closer. He spread his arms to enclose his wife in an embrace.

"Is dreaming of you every night not love? Is longing and always wanting to be close to you not love? My eyes are always looking for you, my lips are always saying your name. My heart and soul aren't even mine anymore."

A gentle gaze combined with beautiful words is a powerful weapon that pierces Amber's heart. Making her soar into the clouds and become the queen there.

"Please don't lie to me," Amber whispered. "I won't be able to get up again if I fall because of disappointment, Arsion."

Arsion tightened his embrace. He knew that this girl had a lot of heartache because of his attitude. "There is no lie Amber. I love you and that is a fact."

Amber cried while hugging Arsion. All the disappointment she felt immediately faded because of Arsion's statement.

"Don't cry my Queen, I have seen you cry many times. All I want is your beautiful smile that will shine the kingdom of Arta."

Amber nodded. But she still couldn't stop her happy crying. "It's your fault for not telling me your feelings sooner. You made me wait too long."

Arsion chuckled. He was grateful to be present at this wedding and meet Swana. Thanks to her, Arsion could get the queen of his heart.

"Yes, this is my fault. You can cry this time, but promise to smile after this."

"Okay."

A few moments passed and Amber fulfilled her promise. She was no longer crying but smiling. Arta's famous beauty shone at the wedding attracting all eyes. Including Swana.

"Woah I see the moon shining brightly," Swana teased. She likened Amber to a bright shining moon because of the happiness radiating from her face.

"I'm sure that Arsion got some advice from you, but thank you," Amber whispered.

"You're welcome. "

Their attention soon turned to Noel who was dancing with a princess from the kingdom of Taran. Arsion, who didn't know about the incident from the beginning, was somewhat surprised. But he knew that Noel had already made her choice.

"Looks like there will be another royal wedding procession," said Arsion.

"You're right. I'm glad it happened quickly because I can settle down in the North with Swana." Curtis responded to Arsion.

"Oh I heard you did move. I thought you were giving up but it turns out you're just relenting." This is what Arsion heard. At first she scoffed at Curtis' decision. But after feeling the taste of love himself, he no longer scorned Curtis' decision that he once considered weak.

"All for the happiness of my family. I'm even glad I decided to move," Curtis replied. There was no reason to rule Sinclair anymore. He was even happier in the north.

"A wise decision," Arsion praised.

Curtis raised his eyebrows in surprise. He was quite surprised to find that the man did not insult him. This meant he no longer needed to argue with Arsion. Love really could change everything.
