Eden Visited

As it turns out, Yerenika's suspicions about the nobles' conspiracy were not wrong. Yacob and Eros meet Noel who has a terrible hidden plan. They copied what Johan said.

"Your Majesty, Commander Curtis is a threat to Sinclair. We must attack them," said the prime minister who had been desperate for Curtis to leave.

In the past, Noel would have been swayed. But not this time. He looked at Jacob and Eros earlier.

"Then what are you guys going to do?"

"If you permit then we will invade the North."

Noel raised her eyebrows. When the kingdom was attacked by Killian, these two men were reluctant to send help. But now they were sending troops to face Curtis.

"Do what you want but the royal court will consider that your actions are

is a turf war so we will not interfere."

The two people looked enthusiastic.

"Leave it to us."

The two immediately excused themselves and smiled widely. Noel even shook her head at their stupidity.

'Maybe they forgot that the Asaka kingdom got scared when it was attacked by Curtis. The two of them actually challenged Curtis.'

'Don't you know that you want to control the kingdom's political power after getting rid of Curtis. You guys are really greedy.'

He immediately wrote a letter and sent it to Curtis about their attack plan.

The letter Noel sent through the eagle reached Curtis. The corners of his lips lifted, pleased with Noel's attitude that could no longer be controlled by the greedy old nobleman.

"They're going to challenge us to a territory war," Curtis said.

"I heard that Jacop and Eros have powerful armaments. Also skilled troops," Jason said.

"It's strange that they were silent when Killian rebelled and killed King Damian. Noel must have been aware of this fact," Jason continued, analyzing the situation.

"I'm glad Noel sent us a warning. It confirms that he's on our side."

Curtis picked up a pen and started writing a letter. He wanted Noel to punish all of Jacob and Eros' families, after his army had defeated Eros and Jacob's army. This was to set an example for the other side not to have bad intentions like those two nobles.

"Alright, send this letter through the eagle who sent the letter here earlier. After that, prepare the troops. I need to see Swana."

Curtis' order was quickly responded to by Samuel and Jason. They knew that now was martial law. Because they could go to war at any time.

Curtis found his wife chatting with Nancy and another waitress. She was chatting and looking cheerful. It was a sight he rarely saw at the Sinclair royal palace.

Just look at her now, her wife's face flushed, her teeth white and set, visible as she laughed. Curtis regretted not realizing his wife's wish all this time. He should have brought Swana out of the kingdom sooner. He should not have given her that terrible burden.

"This isn't fair. Why are you guys having fun without me?" Curtis said while hugging Swana from behind.

"Curtis, you surprised us," Swana giggled.

"I'm sorry. I really couldn't wait to hug my happy wife. "

Nancy and the other servants naturally retreated to give Curtis and Swaan a chance.

At that moment, Eden appeared. The man came out of the portal that was created.

"Hi, sorry to disturb your romance," Eden said without feeling guilty.

Seeing Eden who suddenly appeared made Swana squeal softly. Meanwhile, Curtis only snorted.

"You just appear and disappear like a ghost. My wife is pregnant right now, so don't take her by surprise," Curtis warned.

"Really? Congratulations to you guys. But---"

A human is pregnant with a werewolf baby. Eden had never heard of such a thing in her entire life. So there was concern for the man.

'I'd better think about the request Curtis made before saying my concerns about Swana's pregnancy,' Eden said to herself.

"When are we talking about the portal you're going to make to cross the border, Curtis?" Eden asked.

Curtis could not delay the northern region's defense plan any longer. So he excused himself to Swana to talk to Eden.

"Honey, I'll be back after talking to Eden. You don't mind, don't you?"

"Go, I trust you."

Of course, Swana gave Curtis a chance to talk to Eden. Although she was silent, she could understand the concern her husband felt that he intended to build a portal and border the northern region with a terrifying defense. Swana knew that her husband was worried that many assassins would come and disturb the peace in the north.

'I trust Noel and Yerenika, but I don't trust the greedy nobles of Sinclair,' Swana thought.

Most importantly, Curtis was no longer hostile to Eden. So they can work together.

Curtis and Eden arrived at Curtis' workplace. They soon engage in a serious conversation.

"Are you sure you will release the monsters at the Southern border?" Eden asked.

"Yes, I don't want to waste time watching the northern border. Because I'm sure that there will be many assassins coming to this region."

Eden could understand how Curtis felt. Living and being a target was annoying. It's just that she feels Curtis' way is too extreme.

"Alright, I'll help create a portal that connects the monsters. But I suggest building a high wall to keep the monsters out of the border area. "

"Of course."

Both of them fell silent as soon as the conversation was over. Neither of them had a topic of conversation. This made it awkward for both of them.

"Ehem, if there is nothing more to say then I will leave. Give my regards to Swana," Eden said.

"Yes, thank you for accepting my offer. I will reward you accordingly. "

Eden grinned. Of course, what she expected was money from Curtis. He currently had a family and Anna was also pregnant. So Eden wanted to give them a decent life in the land of Asaka.

"Very well. I will gladly accept your reward."

Eden disappeared along with the portal he created. The man moved around so easily.

"No wonder my men had trouble catching Eden," Curtis muttered.

Curtis went back to see Swana. He wanted to tell his wife everything as well as make love to her. Even though it wasn't night yet, he didn't want to hold anything back if it had to do with Swana.
