Chapter 118 The End
Chapter 118 The End
It looked like the guests were really enjoying themselves after dinner. The dancing had started right away. BK’s friends and relatives were already going wild, and her own friends were with them too, making her shake her head. She had already warned her husband that the men were rowdy, but he still let them have their fun.
She looked around for her daughter but couldn’t find her, or even Yaya. She just wanted to say goodbye to her child because she and BK were about to leave for his private cabin.
She glanced down when someone tugged her hand, and her body followed the pull.
“BK,” she said when her husband guided her toward the shore, where a yacht was waiting.
“I’m tired, baby. We need to rest,” he told her.
She stared at him. That smile, she already knew what it meant.
“Tired or impatient?”
“Impatient,” he admitted with a grin, pulling her closer.
“I haven’t said goodbye to Mirielle, BK!”
“C’mon, baby. Our daughter will understand why we’ll be away for a while. It’s our night, remember?”
She held onto him as he carried her onto the yacht. She looked back at the venue where several guests were watching them. Both sets of parents waved at them.
BK set her down near the wheel.
“Drive for me, baby.”
She frowned. “I don’t know how to drive a yacht, BK. We’ll get ourselves into trouble.”
He chuckled. “No, you won’t. I’m right behind you. I’ll guide you, promise.”
And he did. He stayed close, telling her what to do as they moved across the water.
They were halfway to their destination when BK suddenly knelt in front of her.
“W-what are you doing, BK?” she asked, confused.
“Relax, baby. Just focus on driving, all right?” he said with a teasing grin.
She knew exactly what was going through his mind, so she quickly turned off the engine.
“Oh my God, BK!” she gasped as he leaned closer to her.
She gripped the steering wheel tightly. “Stop it, BK!” she scolded, tugging at him.
“I told you to relax, baby.”
“How can I relax when you’re doing that? What if someone sees us? It’s embarrassing!”
“Calm down. We’re in the middle of the ocean. No one will hear anything.”
She caught her breath, trying to steady herself, but BK only continued teasing her. His touches were gentle but made her entire body feel warm and sensitive. Her knees weakened as he drew her into the moment.
“Ohhh, BK… I’m going crazy,” she whispered as she stared up at the sky.
She felt like she was floating.
His affection grew more intense, and she couldn’t stop the soft sounds escaping her lips. BK clearly felt her reaction because he suddenly lifted her into his arms and placed her gently on the sun lounger.
“I’m sorry, baby. I really can’t hold back anymore,” he said as he knelt before her.
She swallowed when he drew her legs closer to him. She leaned back slightly, breathless.
“A-are you sure no one can see us here, BK?”
“Trust me, baby.” He kissed her stomach lovingly, even whispering to the child she carried. Then he lifted her dress again.
“Fck,” he murmured under his breath as he traced her thigh. “You’re so ready for me.”
“It’s your fault!” she snapped, though the heat in her voice betrayed her own excitement.
He laughed. “I love that. Can I make you feel that way again?”
“Hurry up, BK! I’m getting impatient with you,” she warned.
“Damn,” he muttered, biting his lip. She pulled him close and kissed him deeply. He kissed her back with the same hunger.
“Finish what you started, BK,” she whispered.
“Yes, baby.”
His touch, his kisses, everything he did brought back the fire she had missed for months. She couldn’t stop watching him, couldn’t stop reacting to him. The sounds from both of them filled the quiet night.
“God, BK… I’m close…” she breathed.
“Let go for me, baby. Go on.”
And she did, falling apart beneath his touch until she finally relaxed into the chair, breathless and weak.
BK stood a moment later, smiling. She swallowed hard when he licked his fingers playfully before kissing her quickly.
“Let’s wait for the main course, baby,” he said with a mischievous grin.
“Yeah,” she sighed, wrapping her arms around his neck. “Can you drive? You wore me out, me and the baby.”
“Sure.” He kissed her again, on the forehead, on her nose, and lastly on her lips. Then he adjusted her dress so she was properly covered before returning to the wheel.
She closed her eyes when she heard the engine start again. The cool wind and exhaustion lulled her into sleep.
She woke up when BK lifted her into his arms as they got off the yacht. They had arrived.
She stepped down once they reached the cabin door. BK had the key in his pocket.
“I thought you lost this place in the bet?” she teased.
“Yeah. Didn’t I mention I bought it back?” he said casually.
She shook her head. “I don’t remember that, BK. All I know is you’re wasting money.”
“I don’t care about the money, baby. We made a lot of memories here. I couldn’t let it go.”
Her heart softened, and she smiled.
She hugged him tightly. “Thank you, BK. I was heartbroken when I learned this is what you bet on.” He smiled sweetly at her. “I love you so much, Blake Kent Hernandez II.”
“I love you more, Mrs. Daphne Frost Hernandez.” And he sealed their lips with another kiss as he guided her inside, still kissing her as the door closed behind them.
And because they knew every corner of the cabin by heart, they reached the room they would be staying in almost instantly. Both of them were breathless when they finally let go of each other.
She followed her husband as he guided her to turn around. He unzipped her dress and let it fall to the floor.
She faced him again, smiling when she saw his Adam’s apple move.
BK stared at her intensely as she began unbuttoning his shirt. She could hear his breathing grow faster.
He couldn’t hold himself back any longer. He helped her undress and then kissed her with a passion she hadn’t felt in months. Without breaking that kiss, they guided each other to the bathroom to take a shower together.
They washed each other, laughing softly and trying to finish quickly so they could rest.
Before she knew it, they were clinging to each other beneath the warm water, BK holding her securely from behind as they shared quiet, breathless moments together. She braced a hand against the tiled wall, matching his rhythm, feeling how much he had missed her.
And he wasn’t satisfied with that alone. Later, he made sure to continue showing his affection in ways that were comfortable and safe for her, considering her pregnancy.
The next morning, she asked Yaya to bring their daughter to the cabin. She couldn’t stand being away from her for too long. Because of that, their three-day honeymoon became even more colorful and memorable as a family.
A few months later, she gave birth to their second child, whom they named Noah Kien Hernandez. Their marriage became even happier with the arrival of their baby boy. She told her husband she felt truly content because God had answered her wish to have a son after Mirielle.
She just didn’t expect that two more children would follow. Her husband was, quite literally, affectionate to a fault. Ever since she had fully forgiven him for everything he had done in the past, he never stopped showing her how much he adored her. Every little smile—“baby.” Every decision—he would call her first, even if he was in the middle of a meeting or a mission. Any tiny incident—he would tell her immediately. He was terrified of keeping anything from her. And because of that, he won her heart again.

28 YEARS LATER…
“There you go again, Mama! Crying. My God! Think of us, your remaining children! Noah isn’t your only child. Gale, Ash, and I are still here. I shouldn’t have come if this is what I’d walk into. I expected to see my mother who treats her children equally. My mother who worries for all of us. But she’s gone. I haven’t felt her presence for years! It’s like she left with Noah!”
“Ate!” her siblings said in near unison. Her mouth was firing off like a machine gun again.
She heard her mother, Daphne sobbing, immediately comforted by her siblings. “I’m sorry,” her mother whispered, making Mirielle exhale sharply.
“You say that all the time, Ma. That’s not what I want to hear.”
“Mirielle!” Her father rushed toward them. “Not this again. We already talked about this, right? I called you all here, not your mother.” He went to Daphne and tried to calm her down.
For the past fifteen years, her mother had done nothing but search for her missing son, Noah. They barely saw her anymore. Her entire world revolved around Noah.
Even now, her parents still believed Noah was alive. And the ones they suspected to be behind his disappearance were none other than the relatives of Grandpa Alvis—people still bitter over wealth and inheritance. In short, her mother’s side of the family was a mess. And the feud still wasn’t over.
Mirielle hurried out of her father’s library after he told the three of them to go home and look after their mother while he was away. He was leaving for Norway because they had found a new lead about Noah’s disappearance. She also hoped her brother was alive, but she couldn’t help feeling resentful. She and her siblings had been neglected. It was why she moved out early—she was fed up.
She dialed her friend’s number, inviting them to go bar hopping. Whenever she was this frustrated, the bar was her escape.
She had just parked at ZL Lounge when she spotted Santi kissing someone in the parking lot.
One of Santi’s grandfathers owned the bar. His family ran Moore Airlines and Narvaez Energy Corp. He came from money, so no one cared if he flirted all night.
“Can you at least find a private place? Try to have some decency,” she called out.
Santi paused when he heard her voice. He raised a brow, then smirked at her.
“You’re here, Elle. I’ve been waiting for you.” He instantly left the person he was kissing without a word and followed after her. The girl he left behind called out to him, but he ignored her.
“Have you thought about what I told you? Just one night, Elle. I’m dying to have s3x with you. Please?”
She rubbed her forehead and looked at him.
“How many times do I have to tell you I don’t sleep around? I’m not someone who lets just anyone touch me. Got that, Moore?”
“I don’t buy it. You kiss random guys all the time. So it’s impossible. Why not try me, Elle? Huh? I swear you’ll come back for more.” He grinned, and she snorted.
“Think whatever you want. I don’t have time to argue with people like you. Even if you strip right here, I’m not touching you.” She shoved him away, and he stopped following her.
“Fck you, Elle!”
“Same to you, Mr. Moore!” she shot back, flipping him off.
She thought her friends would show up. They didn’t. They all had their own plans. So here she was, drinking alone in a VIP room.
Her own grandfather was also one of the owners of ZL Lounge, so staying all night wasn’t a problem.
She held her head as the dizziness hit her. She had drunk too much. She just wanted to forget her family problems for a while.
The door swung open suddenly, and she looked up. The last person she wanted to see—Santi—walked in.
“So you’re here. Your mom called. She wants you h
ome.”
“Get out, Santi. I’m not going home,” she said firmly.
“You choose, Elle. I’ll fvck you here… or do I drag you out myself?”
Her lips parted in surprise at the challenge in his voice…
