Chapter Sixteen

If Mitch knew what she needed—or wanted—right then, he didn’t seem to care. Instead, he ordered another round of drinks and kept her on the dance floor. More people watched, touching her, dancing with her, that eventually it all became a blur. And she liked it. The longer it continued, the more she craved.

What’s more, as far as she could tell, so did Mitch. He grinned, kept her on the dance floor, or with her legs spread at the table. He took pride in exposing her, knowing the effect it had on her, how turned on she became. From the bulge she felt at the front of his jeans while they danced, it turned him on as well.

And that confused her. Most men would have yanked her off the dance floor and out the door. Or they would have left her there. Alone.

Yet, Mitch was still there, egging her on, relishing in her behavior.

When they finally did leave, the parking lot was dark, and Karla couldn’t keep her hands off Mitch. He felt the same, pushing her against his car, his solid body pressed against her, his cock hard. She ran her hands up his back, her fingers digging into him through his shirt. She felt his hand slide up her thigh, under her skirt, until she could feel his fingers toying with her pussy lips, parting them as he rubbed her sex back and forth. She started to moan, but it was swallowed up by his kiss, his lips warm, his breath heated. He ran his other hand up her back and into her hair, pulling her head back, breaking off the kiss. She stared back into his grinning eyes, her mouth open, wanting.

“You were so hot tonight,” he said, staring down into her eyes. “How did it feel?”

“Intoxicating. Now, are you going to fuck me?”

His grin grew as he reached behind her, popping her door open. “Most definitely.”

She dropped into the passenger seat, hoping he took her right then and there. He didn’t, but she did everything she could on their way back to his place to try and convince him to pull over. She stroked his hard cock through his jeans, tempting him. He slid his hand over her bare thigh and between her legs, strumming her pussy as he drove, making her twist in her seat. Her eyes flew open, and she gasped as he shoved two fingers inside her wetness, pumping them in and out, making her writhe in the seat. Her moans and heavy breathing filled his car. His grin filled the rearview mirror.

“Please, Mitch. Now. Please.”

“You can wait,” he replied, and his voice held the grin that was plastered to his face.

“God, I don’t want to wait,” she practically growled.

“I know. But you will.”

She growled louder, spreading her legs so he could drive his fingers deeper inside of her. She tried to wriggle more out of him, but he was determined to have his way. However, as soon as they were in his apartment, she didn’t wait to finish what they started in the car. She wrapped her arms around him as soon as he shut the door, slipping her hands under his shirt, her nails scratching at his flesh. He held her tight, his kiss turning her mouth into a burning fire, his breath tasting of whiskey as their tongues danced the dance she wanted their bodies to be doing.

He broke the kiss just long enough to yank her top over her head, the cool air kissing her skin. Tossing it to the floor, he unsnapped her bra and peeled it from her shoulders, baring her breasts to his touch. Running his thumb over her swollen nipple, he drew a moan from her lips, but he refused to break the kiss again. He pinched her nipple, pulling it down. She moaned louder as she reached for his pants button, yanking it open, the zipper ripping downward. He pinched her nipple even harder as she shoved her hand into his pants, gripping his manhood, stroking it up and down. She wanted it, needed it.

Mitch broke the kiss, grabbed her hand, and led her to the bedroom, his pants loose around his waist, her shirt and bra laying on the floor by his front door. He spun around once they were in his room, pushing her back onto the bed, her skirt flouncing up around her waist. She didn’t move, just lying there, watching as he kicked his shoes off, followed by his socks, then slid his pants off his powerful legs, pulled his shirt off his body, all piling up in a clump on the floor. Wearing only his grin and a stiff cock, he climbed into the bed, crawling his way up her body until he stared straight into her eyes, his cock teasing her entrance. She wanted to pull him down on top of her, drive him deep inside of her pussy, but she waited. It took all her resolve to wait for his timing, his control. She was ready to explode.

“You were hot tonight,” he told her once again, kissing her forehead, her cheeks, her nose, his lips grazing the pulsing hollow of her throat. “I loved watching you lose yourself in the attention you were getting from everyone.”

She wrapped her arm around his neck, forcing herself not to pull him down to her. “It was hot, everyone looking at me, their hands touching me, wanting me.”

“I could tell,” he said with a grin. “I can feel how wet it made you.”

“And you didn’t like it?” She worried that this would be when he told her no more.

Instead, he shoved his cock inside of her as his way of answering. “I very much liked it.” He continued to assault her pussy with his cock, pounding into her, his hips hitting hers, his cock spreading her wide. She pulled at him now, her hands in his hair, on his back, around his neck. She kissed his flesh, sucked on his nipples, bit his neck. As he drove down, she thrust her hips upward to meet him. Sensations coursed through her, her moans echoing through the room. She was ready. Had been ready all night. It didn’t take long before her orgasm thundered through her, shaking her entire being, her cries ripping from her throat. She clawed at him, digging her nails into his back, holding him on top of her, pinning them together. Her head rocked back and forth, her long dark hair flowing around her until she felt the wave of her climax ripple through her, subsiding like a wave that crashed on the shore stretching out to its thinnest limit. As she felt it waning, she felt him tighten, his body growing taut as his own orgasm exploded inside of her. Finally, she collapsed, her arms limp at her sides.

He kissed her, again on her forehead, her cheeks, her nose. She smiled, the embers of passion nowhere near being put out. She wanted more.

In a moment.

Right now, she needed to catch her breath.

Mitch laid down beside her, his arm across her tummy. He nuzzled her neck, tickling her slightly. “And that is why I don’t mind you showing off your body. The rewards are well worth it.” He grinned as he kissed her cheek.

“You weren’t kidding about it turning you on, that’s for sure.” She tried to slow her breathing, her heart thundering in her chest.

“I told you. There is so much to explore. I’m not asking you to change who you are for me. I want us to explore who you truly are, even the parts you’ve kept hidden. Together.”

She smiled, or at least, she thought she smiled. With the way her breaths came in heavy pants, she wasn’t sure. But she knew it felt good to hear him say it. She only hoped she could count on it. They all said it in the beginning, but few ever truly meant it.

With a deep breath, she shook off her doubts. Tonight was not the night for them. Tonight, she would continue to reap the benefits of their evening. She rolled over, straddling him, her grin mischievous, playful. It surprised her that he was still rock hard, but she loved it. “You ready for round two?” She slid up and down on him, feeling his manhood between her legs.

He just grinned as he gripped her waist, lifting her so that he could position the head of his cock at her entrance. “Glad to see you’re all about taking turns.”

“Most definitely,” she said, as she dropped herself down on top of him, his cock filling her as her mouth popped open slightly.

When they finally collapsed and passed out, Karla had no idea, but the fragrant aroma of brewing coffee teased her sleepy eyelids awake. She stretched, her muscles begging to stay still just a while longer. The best part of waking up was the fact that she could still feel Mitch in her pussy.

And she relished it.

She had to admit, she had wild nights before, sexual exploits and brazen adventures, but none with someone who wanted more from her. She rolled over, running her hand over Mitch’s empty pillow. He didn’t just want between her legs, he wanted… All of her.

But could she give him what he asked for?

She forced herself out of bed and into the bathroom, washing her face and brushing her teeth with her finger. Noise from the kitchen enticed her and she slipped on one of his old T-shirts she found lying in a corner and headed for the coffee. Mitch stood in the kitchen, wearing a pair of faded jeans, which hung low on his hips. He stirred scrambled eggs in a bowl, his hand gripping the whisk in a way that made her think of him holding a paddle. She felt the heat begin to boil between her legs again.

“Good morning,” she said, leaning on the counter. “I didn’t hear you get up.”

He smiled, setting the bowl of egg mix on the counter, and turning to get a coffee mug from the cabinet. “I didn’t want to wake you,” he said, as he poured her a cup of coffee. “While you may have the morning off, I don’t.” He set the cup in front of her.

“I appreciate it, although you could have woken me up in a much better fashion.” She winked at him, as she picked up the coffee mug and took a tentative sip.

A knock came at the door. Karla gave Mitch a curious glance, but he only shrugged. Wiping his hands on a dish towel before tossing it back on the counter, he went to open his door. As soon as he did, a thin blond came bouncing into his place.

“Well, how has it been..?” Sandy stopped when she noticed Karla leaning on the counter, staring at her. Sandy ran her eyes up and down Karla, taking in her shirt-only attire. “I guess that answers that question,” she said with a grin.

Karla felt annoyance quickly turning to anger. “Do you usually stop by here in the morning?” She turned to Mitch, who walked back to the bowl of scrambled egg mix, her left eyebrow raised in question.

Mitch just shrugged. “It’s happened before, yes. You are the one who introduced us, remember? Does it surprise you it wasn’t a one-time deal?”

Karla stood there, fuming inside, doing her best not to show it.

Sandy walked around the kitchen counter to where Karla saw Mitch pull out a coffee mug and helped herself. She’s pretty familiar with things around here. Mitch didn’t seem to care what Sandy did, as he added two more eggs to his mix. Sandy poured some coffee, and then leaned on the counter opposite Karla. “So, how was your evening?”

Karla ignored her. “You told her about last night?”

Mitch shook his head. “Nope. I’m not really a kiss-and-tell kinda guy.”

“Bullshit,” Karla said. “All guys are the kiss-and-tell kinda guy. It’s genetic.”

“Well, there was this one time…” Sandy started to say.

Mitch shot her a dirty look and Sandy remained quiet, but still grinned. He turned back to Karla. “She knows nothing about our evening. I’m not even sure why she’s here.” He glanced at Sandy and sighed. “She didn’t call ahead.”

Sandy shrugged. “I never needed an invite before. How was I supposed to know the rules changed?”

He turned his focus back to Karla. “Still, we had this conversation at the garage a couple of days ago.”

Karla stood up straighter, her hands bracing herself on the counter as she glared at Sandy. “Rules? You have rules?” She spun to face Mitch. “She has rules?”

He shook his head as he grinned at her. “Not those kinds of rules.” He poured the scrambled egg mix into a skillet. “Sandy, besides trying to instigate trouble, what brings you by?”

Sandy sipped her coffee, her smart-ass grin visible behind the rim of her mug. “I hadn’t talked to you in a few days, so I just wanted to check in. See how things went with our girl. I guess they’re going pretty well.”

Karla felt her flight response kick in. She no longer needed—or wanted—to hear any more of what her supposed friend said. “So, the whole time you challenged me, daring me to go out with you, promising me that you were the one, you were banging my friend? You told me you weren’t sleeping with her. What? Did you just forget?”

Mitch cocked his head to the side, staring at Karla, confusion on his face. “No, I didn’t. I said you assumed we had sex that morning in my garage. We didn’t. You never asked about any other time. Besides, correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t you sleep with Brad and that guy from the bar last week? You expected me to be a priest while you were anything but a nun?”

“Don’t you think it’s a little ridiculous to be chasing me when you’re with someone else already? You couldn’t sleep with twins, so you thought you’d do a set of friends?”

“Who said I was with anyone?” He glanced at Sandy as he continued to stir the eggs. “Tell her. We’re not a couple.”

“We’re not a couple,” Sandy said, with a shrug. “We just have sex. You had sex with us, too, remember?” She winked at Karla, and it was all Karla could do to keep from smacking her friend.

She pushed herself away from the counter. “I need to go. You two enjoy your breakfast.” She didn’t run, but that was only because she wouldn’t give her friend the satisfaction. However, she walked as fast as she could while saving what dignity she had left, entering Mitch’s room to gather her clothes.

“Karla!” She heard him call after her, but she didn’t stop. She wanted out of there. Away from them.

Before she could get into her skirt, he was there, his hand holding her arm. “Wait, what are you so upset about? We weren’t in a relationship. Sandy and I have seen each other since that night on the beach. You didn’t think it was a big deal then, so what’s the problem now?”

She stood there, her skirt in one hand, top in the other. “The problem is you were trying to convince me to get into a relationship with you, that you were different than all the others. You’re not different.” She jerked her arm out of his grasp and slid into her clothes. Once dressed, she poked him in the chest. “I never once denied who I was to you. I told you I didn’t like relationships, that I wasn’t meant for them. You lied about who you are. You’re just like all the others, with your own game to play. Well, I’m not playing anymore. You and my friend can have each other. I hope you have a good laugh over this.” She pushed with her finger and Mitch backed up a step. Then, she turned and walked out of his room.

Out of his life, as far as she was concerned.
