95. Luciano

Rani saw her ex-boyfriend, looking hot as ever, wearing his dark swim trunks.

He looked amazing in whatever he wore, and Rani sighed. She wanted to rush over to him, she wanted to hug and kiss him and tell him how much she missed him, and how much she cried almost every three days a week, thinking about him.

That connection was in his eyes too when he caught her gaze.

Her heart skipped stones and called out to him. However, Rani was instantly reminded of why she broke up with him. He was a stubborn hothead, who wouldn't let Ren be with her fated mate, nor would he ever change his ways for biting people when they didn't want. Hector was ruthless like that, but it broke her heart to see him with another person.

After seeing Hector with another girl.

Rani felt a pang of hurt come through her.

He'd moved on?

Rani controlled her tears and shot him a cold gaze, that he instantly felt.

Ren and Rani observed from a little distance. Giselle kissed Damon, then walked over to Hector's booty call of the week and caught her hand. Oh no, why was she coming over towards them?

"Urgh, I hate this she-wolf from Luciano's pack."

"Whose that?"

"He's an Alpha and business partner with Damon and Hector, who built the hotel out here," Ren explained.

"Looks like they're coming over."

"Hey, girls." Giselle waved from a distance.

Rani waved back at her.

"I'm going for a deeper swim," Rani said swimming away. She couldn't stand to see Hector's girlfriend coming by.

"Ok, but don't go too far," Ren said, watching her awhile, before turning her attention to the oncoming girls whilst Damon and Hector spoke on shore.

Rani swam away fast, but the waters got rough.

She was just about to turn to make her way to another side of the shore to avoid Hector's girlfriend, when suddenly.

A hard wave hit her.

Rani's body went inside, and she rose up again. The currents were strong and were sweeping her away from the shoreline.

Crap!

"REN!!" She gasped out catching her attention, when

A powerful wave hit her down, and Rani went underwater swallowing a lot of water, by accident.

Tumbling down her leg caught on the seaweed of the ocean floor, that coiled around her leg, in a trap.

She yelled out in panic making bubbles of air fly out from her mouth.

No...Was this it?

Was she going to never get the chance to hug Hector or Achilles for that matter?

Before her eyes closed a powerful figure dived inside the sea, and before she closed her eyes she saw a pair of green glowing eyes coming right towards her.

Luciano the bachelor Alpha wolf who was cruising down in his yacht with many party girls on board, saw a damsel in distress, trying to wave at her friend for help.

Her strange scent caught his attention before she went down, and he quickly dived into action.

Seeing her foot stuck in the seawood, Luciano quickly pulled out his claws and swiped at them easily cutting the reeds away. He grabbed her by her waist and swiftly pulled and swam up towards the surface. A speed boat circled him and came to an immediate stop. Luciano pulled her body onto the boat then climbed on to it.

He placed his head towards her own and noticed she wasn't breathing.

Without another second, he started pressing her chest. 1,2,3,4,5 he pressed after a quarter of a second and then he told her head, just about to pinch at her nose, he place his mouth near her and was just about to open it to blow air, through it, when suddenly Rani coughed up the water that had been lodged in her lungs.

Rani fluttered her eyes open to see powerful green eyes staring down at her.

"Hey there, thought I'd lost you," Luciano spoke as she looked at him dazed.

He was beautiful. So beautiful that she could see a halo behind the back of his head. Or was it the sun?

"Mermaid?" She whispered, still in shock.

"Are you high perrita? I'm no man fish?" He flashed his eyes green at her. Rani gasped out unable to move a muscle, due to his intimidating aura. He then pulled her into his arms and scented her by her head in a curious way.

Rani froze in his arms feeling frightened of him, with the way he stared deeply at her.

"For a lamb I just saved, you sure have an interesting smell perrita?"

Why was he calling her perrita in his thick Spanish foreign accent? What did that even mean?

"What?" She whispered.

"Little puppy." He said smiling down at her.

"RANI!!!" A distant male voice shouted, worriedly, however, Rani was still hearing the sounds of hard in her head as she stared through her blurry soaking eyes. Her heart was still racing from the fact that she had her foot caught and in the deep ocean floor bed reeds, where the impact of the hard wave crashed her into, tumbling around in the water.

Her green eyed mermaid looked towards the sea. Another fast-speed boat was approaching his.

"She's ok Alphas. Aren't you cucciola?" He caressed her cheek tenderly.

Unable to handle his extremely high powerful aura, Rani's head swirled again then passed out again, in his arms.

A powerful figure easily jumped from his boat at a great distance surprising Luciano and the driver of his speed boat.

"This perrita belongs to you Hector?" Luciano asked as he held Rani is his arm.

"Yes, she's mine." Hector then knelt and placed his hand over her chest, hearing her heartbeat. He drew out relief and placed his hand on Luciano's shoulder.

"Thanks, for saving her." Luciano nodded and saw him taking her away from his wet hold.

He took notice of how important this girl was to him and Damon for that matter. He saw him engulf her in his arms previously and then hold her close like he just got his life back.

"Hector let's get her back to shore." Damon said pulling his boat close. Hector then scooped her in his arms bridal style and jumped back onto his speed boat.

"Take care of her Alphas. Ericko vamos ahora" He said ordering his boat driver to head back to his party yacht.

Something was strange about Hector's girl and Luciano wasn't sure what it was. However, one thing was for sure. He definitely liked her scent.
