Sophia found Alice too creepy, to actually have sexual fantasies about someone as terrifying as Victor.
Sophia wanted to live a few more years, but she didn't have the courage to provoke Victor. She went to brush her teeth, wash her face, and took a bathrobe into the bathroom for a hot shower. Her wrists and neck were marked by Victor's grip, and she felt that he might be an abuser, someone who enjoyed hurting others.
Sophia felt a bit upset and lay on the couch after showering, applying a face mask. Alice was next to her, applying skincare products while talking. "During the day, I went to pick up Liam. He wasn't home. When I went again in the evening after work, he was at home, but the butler came out to meet me and said Mrs. Hastings wasn't there. They asked me to come back in a few days to pick up Liam. I suspect Sam doesn't want me to take Liam away."
Sophia nodded and said, "That's normal."
