Chapter 77 - Surprised by Three Mates

April POV

Alexei, Klaus, Alastair, and I all stood in the courting room of Alexei’s palace.. my gown was black with sparkles everywhere.. I’m being crowned Queen of the Vampires.. and my mates, Kings of the vampires.

My heart raced frantically in my chest.. I’m nervous. So nervous. I watched as our little pups sat patiently with my family.. they look so beautiful.

“We now are gathered here to crown Princess April. To be our queen.. my queen. And to crown Klaus and Alastair as my equals, your kings. We’ve been through a world of trouble to get to where we are today.. lost quite a lot.. got back what we could. It is with great happiness that they are crowned today.” Alexei said. And Elder stepped up with a crown in his hands.

“To your knees, Princess.” He said with a soft smile. I got on my knees and bowed my head.

“Repeat after me.” He said.

“I, April, Princess of the lycans vow to protect and serve this kingdom to the best of my capabilities. To govern over them, to love them.. to be their teacher, and their protector until the fateful day in which I may pass.” He said.

“And now you will be crowned as Queen of the Vampires.” He said. He placed the crown on my head and the room erupted with cheers.

Next was Klaus’s turn.

He repeated every word just as I, and then the Elder held the crown above him.

“And now, you will be crowned a king of the Vampires.” The elder said. He placed the crown on Klaus’s head and I smiled brightly. The same as before, the room filled with cheers, hollers, and howls.

The elder waved for Alastair to come and he did. He got on his knees before the left and bowed his head, repeating every word just as he was told.. though he did fumble a little, causing laughs to burst out all around us. His face was a bright shade of pink from embarrassment.

The elder placed the crown on his head and he stood, walking over to us and smiling at the crowd.

“And here you have it. Kings and Queen of the BlackCrest Vampire kingdom.. the last Vampire kingdom in the world.” The elder said. The crowd cheered loudly, most were vampires.. but many Lycans and werewolves were cheering as well.

“I can’t believe I f*cked that up,” Alastair whispered to me. I let out a giggle.

“You did amazingly. Do not worry.” I said softly. I held his hand tightly and kissed his cheek. Alexei stood with us smiling brightly.. I can’t believe we’re actually kings and queen.

“You all will make the best royalty.. the best kings and queen there is. You will bring equality to all.. you will blossom in the royal line and your children will grow to be the best.” The elder said. We bowed our heads in approval.

“Now, it is done. Long may you all reign.” The elder said.

“Long may you all reign!” The room said in unison.

Music began to play and the crowd began to disperse to the food.. food. I’m so hungry. My stomach growled loudly and Alexei chuckled.

“Let’s eat.” He said. We walked to the food faster than you’d imagine.

“Congratulations.. your majesties. You will make fine royals.” Lord Baylard said.

“Thank you, Baylard,” Alastair said with a soft smile.

“Wren wanted me to give this to you.. it’s a gift.” Baylard said. He handed me a box with a smile.

“But.. don’t open it until you’re in the privacy of your own chambers.” He chuckled. My face turned bright red because I just knew it was some form of a sexual gift.

Mom walked over with little Aleksandr in her arms and he reached for me.

“Mama, hat.” He said as he pointed his little finger at my crown.

“Yes, baby. It’s mamas crown. One day you will wear one.” I said softly. I placed a kiss on his cheek and he turned bashful, hiding his face in the crook of my neck.

“So.. now my daughter is officially a queen. How do you feel?” Mom asked. Dad joined at her side and Sebastian and Seraphine joined as well with their two pups in their arms.

“It feels.. odd. But I will get used to it.” I said.

“How does it feel being the first in this?” Sebastian asked with a chuckle.

“Hey just because I popped out what.. like 5 seconds after you..” I punched him in his arm and he groaned.

“More like a minute but believe what you want.” He laughed. I glared heavily at him.

“You’re just jealous,” I said.

“Maybe just a little. But that’s okay. I’m happy with my life, how it is.” He said with a smile.

“I’d hope so.” Seraphine glared at him, but she had her lips pressed together trying to hold back her smile.

“Well.. we will leave you guys. Looks like you have a ton of congratulations waiting for you.” Seb said. He pulled me in and kissed my cheek.

“You will be an amazing Queen.” He whispered. He walked away with Seraphine and his pups and I turned to Mom.

“If you ever need my help or have any questions, I’m always a phone call away.” She said with a smile. I pulled her into my arms and held her tightly.

“I love you.. thank you for being such an amazing mother.” I said as tears threatened to spill down my cheeks.

“No.. thank you for being such a gift.” She said softly. She pulled away and I hugged dad.

“I love you, baby girl.” He said.

“I love you too, dad.” I hugged him tightly. He kissed the top of my head, then kissed the pups.

“Guess I should probably feed your mother.. she’s been eyeing that food all day.” He said with a chuckle. He turned around and grabbed mom and walked her to the food.

I turned to my mates who held our pups tightly in their arms and planted kisses on each of their soft lips.

“I love you all.. my Kings,” I said with a smile.

“And we love you.. our Queen.”
