"Are you alright?" Scarlett walked to Quincy and looked at him worriedly. "Actually, you don't need to feel sad for it. You've already seen Vicky's true nature. Being sad for such a girl is not worth it."
Quincy smiled and said, "Don't worry, I'm not that fragile." He felt even more relieved from seeing Vicky's nature.
"Let's go. To celebrate your separation from that bitch, I'll treat you to a meal. Don't stand on ceremony with me. How about X Restaurant?" Scarlett was also relieved and said with a bright smile.
X Restaurant was a high-end restaurant outside the university. Only the wealthy students of JM University often went there.
"Not today. I don't want to see Vicky." Quincy remembered that Vicky and Vincent would go there as well. "I'll treat you to dinner at Sofitel Galaxy Restaurant some day!"
Sofitel Galaxy Restaurant was one of the most luxurious restaurants in JM City. The students heard of it but never had the chance to go there.
Scarlett was surprised. Quincy usually didn't brag. What happened today? Could it be that after the break-up, he had the problem of bragging? It would be all right after a while, wouldn't it?
Scarlett smiled embarrassedly and followed Quincy's words. "Alright, I'll wait for that. To be honest, I haven't been there yet!"
Scarlett didn't know that, not to mention a Sofitel restaurant, even if Quincy ate his three meals every day in the most expensive restaurant in the world for a lifetime, it wouldn't cost one-hundredth of his wealth.
Scarlett was called away by her two best friends.
Quincy's two roommates walked over and took him to the cafeteria for dinner.
When they were about to arrive at the entrance of the cafeteria. Milo Gall suddenly stopped and stared at his phone and shouted, "Holy shit, Alden Saint has hooked up with a girl. Check the chatting group!"
"Really?" Quincy and Rocco took out their phones and opened the chatting group. Alden just sent a message. "Bro, I officially announce that I'm not single anymore! Hurry up and return to the dormitory. I'll treat you to lunch today!"
"He finally found a girlfriend. He can't bear to be lonely."
"Let's go, let's hurry back to the dormitory and rip him off!"
With that, the three turned around and walked towards the dormitory building.
Quincy and the others quickly returned to the dormitory. As soon as they entered, they saw a boy and a girl sitting on the bed, holding hands.
"You guys are back!?" Alden let the girl's hand go and stood up. He looked at Quincy and the others with a smiley face.
Alden majored in sports, though he was tall and thin, the muscles on his arms were obvious.
"Let me introduce her to you. This is my girlfriend, Kyla Halloway, majoring in music." After Alden finished the introduction, he began to introduce his roommates, "These are my roommates, Quincy, Milo, and Rocco."
Kyla stood up and nodded with a smile.
Milo looked at Kyla and exclaimed in his heart. This girl was too beautiful. Her fair skin, straight eyebrows, and well-proportioned figure matched her identity as a girl who studied music.
"Let's go to Fragrance for lunch later. Kyla's roommates are also coming. Should we prepare ourselves?" Alden turned to Quincy and said, "Quincy, bring Vicky with you."
Everyone in the dormitory knew about Quincy's situation. Normally, Quincy rarely treated Vicky to any decent restaurant. Alden just wanted to take this opportunity to help him.
Quincy said calmly, "I've broken up with her."
"Broken up? What's going on?" Alden was shocked.
"It's obvious." Milo glanced at Alden. Alden immediately understood that it must be the obvious reason- poverty.
"Hurry up!" Kyla looked at her phone and raised her head to say, "My roommates have sent a message. They are on their way here. My roommates are all hot-headed. Don't keep them waiting."
"Quincy, Milo, Rocco, quickly change your clothes and wash your faces and go." Alden immediately urged Quincy and the others and held Kyla's hand. "We'll wait for them outside."
Alden and Kyla were standing outside the dormitory. Alden saw that Kyla was a little unhappy with her arms crossed. Alden asked, "What's wrong?"
Kyla frowned. "Aren't your roommates too ordinary? That Milo isn't very good-looking. Rocco looks average, but that Quincy is pretty good-looking, right? But judging from his clothes, he definitely doesn't have much money. How can I meet my roommate like this?"
Alden felt a little uncomfortable in his heart. He smiled and said, "Isn't it just a meal? It's not a blind date. Why do you care about their images?"
"Do you think my roommates come for a meal? Although they didn't say it out, based on my understanding of them, they urged me to organize the dinner with your roommates because they wanted to find good boyfriends. I showed them your photos, and they thought that your roommates looked similar to you!" Kyla lowered her eyes and explained.
Alden smiled bitterly. "It's my fault that I didn't tell you they were all majoring in biology." Back then, he was assigned to Quincy's dormitory because there weren't enough dormitories in the School of Sports.
Kyla suggested, "Why don't you tell your roommates that this meal is cancelled and let them forget about it? It would probably be very embarrassing for them to go."
"Forget it? That's not good!" Alden refused. He had Quincy and the others change their clothes and wash up, if in the end, the meal was cancelled, would it be irritating to them?
"That's what you said. I'll not be responsible for what happens next!" Kyla pouted.
At this time, her roommate called. Kyla slipped on her phone. "Krista Miles ... you guys are all here ... how is it? You guys can see for yourself then. I don't know ... OK, I'll urge them now. You guys wait!"
As she spoke, Quincy, Milo, and Rocco walked out of the dormitory.
"Alden, do I look good?" Milo looked at Alden expectantly with a half-sleeved Playboy T-shirt that cost 300.
"Good!" Alden smiled and patted Milo on the shoulder. Fortunately, he didn't listen to Kyla and cancelled the dinner; otherwise, his roommates would suffer a huge blow!
Alden looked at Quincy who was following behind him and frowned. "Quincy, why are you still wearing this? You will go and meet girls, why not change your clothes?"
"For him, it is the best. How can he have a better one?" Rocco said indifferently. Alden was from the School of Sports, and there was a difference in class time between them, as a result, Alden knew less about Quincy's situation than Rocco and Milo.
Kyla shook her head. She worried that her roommate would be disappointed in today's lunch.
"Stop chatting. Let's go," Kyla urged. Alden, Quincy, and the others walked towards the dormitory door.
At the same time, in Fragrance Restaurant.
Three young and beautiful girls were sitting at a table. Each of them had a good look, and one could tell that their family conditions were good at the first glance.
Among them, a girl with long hair was wearing an off-the-shoulder chiffon shirt. On her face were large watery eyes, thin lips, pink skin and ears. With a delicate nose, she looked like a beautiful girl in a comic book.
She was the prettiest among the three, and she must have the best family condition. Most of the conversation involved her.
"Krista, there's a pimple on your forehead. Did you eat spicy foods in the past two days?" A girl sitting beside Krista suddenly saw a small bump on Krista's forehead.
"Oh." Krista touched the bump on her forehead, and her sweet face turned angry. "I went to Citibank this morning to do transactions with my dad, and I was run into by a guy."
"Ah, you were bumped? Then, did he apologize to you?"
"That's right. Isn't the quality of Citibank's customers quite high?"
Krista looked at her image on the phone screen and realized that it wasn't obvious. She put her hand down and smiled again. "He apologized. You all know whom Citibank serves, right? Guess what he was wearing? He was dressed in rags bought from stalls. I was a little dumbfounded when I saw him."
"Rags bought from stalls? You mean he was very low-key?"
"That's right. Citibank will only issue a card to those who deposit at least one million. According to the TV series, the lower the profile, the richer the person. Then he must be a low-profile millionaire. Krista, tell us about it."
Krista clicked her tongue. "It's not like it. Later, the guest service manager came over and asked him. That guy didn't even have a card. I don't think he have enough experience about the society so he rushed into Citibank recklessly."
"I guess he thought that other bank cards could be used in Citibank, right?"
"He could have died of embarrassment at that time!"
"Later on, I didn't even look at him. I followed my father and left. With this lesson, I suppose he will not recklessly run around in the future."
"This boy is not young, but he doesn't even have this bit of common sense. Ah, I think he's destined to be a bachelor in this lifetime. Will anyone fall for such a man?"
Krista held her phone and frowned slightly. "Stop talking about him. Anyway, I won't meet him again. Ah, why haven't Kyla and the others come yet?" She looked at the screen of the phone and saw the chat with Kyla.
"Kyla's boyfriend is quite handsome, he is tall and slender. I like that type. If there are others in this type among his roommates, don't compete with me!"
"Look at you." The other girl chuckled. "Didn't Kyla say that her boyfriend was from the School of Sports? So his roommates should be of good quality, too. Let's pick our favorite one later. Don't tell each other in public, but negotiate about it privately!"
The three girls chatted and laughed, then tidied each other up.
At this time, Kyla brought Quincy and the others into the Fragrance Restaurant.
