"How can this person be so shameless?" Lacey walked to the door with frustration on her face. She tried to open the door of the VIP room, but it was locked inside.
"Hello..." In the VIP room, the client manager was leaning leisurely on the sofa fiddling with his phone. When he heard that the door was suddenly opened, he hurriedly sat straight. Normally, when VIPs came, the guest service manager Lacey would notify him in advance. What happened today?
The manager subconsciously stood up and walked towards Quincy. As a client manager, he knew the 31 VIPs inside and out. He originally wanted to greet the guest to eliminate the influence of the indecent posture, but when he saw Quincy, he froze.
He was very sure that Quincy was not a distinguished guest, nor was he a relative of those VIPs.
"Sir, may I ask who you are?" Looking at the young man who was just more than 20 years old, the manager had no idea who he was.
"I'm here to withdraw money." Quincy cut to the chase and announced his purpose.
"Sir, do you have the Supreme Card?" Quincy's calm expression confused the manager. The VIPs who did the transaction in the VIP room had at least 30 million in savings. This young man obviously didn't have it, but why was he so calm?
"No." Quincy admitted honestly.
"Sorry, we can't withdraw money for you without the card. Do you have anything else to do?" Upon hearing that, the manager was relieved and changed the address to 'you'.
This young man must be crazy. Why did Lacey let him in? At the meeting on Monday, he had to mention it.
"You have a fingerprint identification system here, right?" Quincy suddenly asked.
"That's right." The manager was shocked. The fingerprint identification system introduced by the bank was for the wealthiest families and consortia. Only a handful of people were able to enter their fingerprints in this system. At least, no one in the JM City Branch had used it yet.
"Sir, you want to use it?" The manager involuntarily used "sir".
"Yes." Quincy nodded.
The manager was dubious. Quincy didn't look like a rich man at all. Could he really be someone whom the fingerprint identification could be used to?
To be honest, the manager felt that he 99. 99% did not believe him, but he thought for a few seconds and finally decided to let Quincy try. What if he was qualified?
Very quickly, the manager took out the unused "fingerprint identification device" from the safe.
The manager signaled to Quincy. "Just put your finger here."
Quincy placed his thumb on the verification area.
"Beep!"
The device emitted dazzling red light, and the LCD screen displayed the words "Not included in the fingerprint database"!
Immediately, the manager's expression changed and hostility shot out from his eyes. He stopped flipping the phone and was ready to call the police.
"Calm down!"
Quincy hurriedly said, "I may have remembered wrongly. I'll try using my index finger again."
The manager sneered. Would this work? He would keep changing fingers and when the ten fingers were used up, he would try his toes, wouldn't he?
The manager made up his mind that he couldn't do it again, and he would call the police to arrest Quincy.
Just as he was fantasizing, Quincy had pressed his index finger on the verification area.
"Beep!" The device emitted green light. "Verification succeeded. The family account number is 01 and the verified person Quincy's account number is 01104."
The manager was instantly surprised. He looked at Quincy in disbelief. He quickly stood up and smiled, "Mr. Quincy, I'm sorry for my negligence. I'm Bailey Chavez, the client manager of JM City Branch of the Citibank. I'd appreciate your kindness."
"It's fine," Quincy said indifferently. He stood up and said, "Can I see how much money I have in my account?"
"Wait a second." After saying that, Bailey sat in front of the computer and operated it. Following Bailey's instructions, Quincy pressed a few more times.
"Alright, Mr. Quincy." Bailey clicked the "OK" button on the screen and the details of Quincy's account appeared.
Bailey pointed at the number on the computer screen under the account balance and said, "Mr. Quincy, your personal account currently has one hundred and forty-eight hundred..."
"No!" Bailey suddenly realized that the number was wrong. "It's 1, 486. 438462 million."
After reading the number, Bailey couldn't help but gasp.
Quincy, a 20-year-old young man, had such a large fortune! Almost 99% of the world's population can never make this money in their lifetime.
Quincy stared at the numbers on the screen and had a strange feeling. He told himself that he needed to quickly adapt to the identity of a rich man.
"Right, you have other assets, let me show you." Bailey operated on several consecutive pages, and finally clicked an OK button.
A 4x4 surveillance screen appeared on the computer screen.
"These are the surveillance images of your physical assets elsewhere in the bank," Bailey explained to Quincy. He randomly clicked one and it was an image of a sports car with "10:11:12 February 25, 2019, the Hague Branch in Netherlands" on the upper left corner, and on the lower right corner was "Ferrari Pargani Huayra."
Bailey clicked another image for Quincy.
[Hawaii Branch, Dominican Lamber Bracelet *95, 2000g gold bars*100]
"Nice Branch, France, 3 original works of Picasso, 1 note of Plato, 2 Rodin sculptures"
"Cape Town Branch, South Africa, 10-carat diamonds*15, 10 pieces of ivory, 20 pieces of 5000g gold bricks"
...
Looking at Quincy's worldwide assets, Bailey's eyes almost popped out. He had never seen someone one tenth as rich as Quincy, let alone Quincy himself.
Before Bailey could finish his sentence, Quincy said, "Alright, get me a card."
"I'll do it for you right now. Wait a moment," Bailey immediately agreed. Then, he went to get Quincy a card. In just 10 minutes, a Supreme Card was issued.
Bailey looked at this Supreme Card and thought about Quincy's assets. He felt that this card was not enough for Quincy.
However, the highest-grade card that the JM City Branch could issue was the Supreme Card.
Bailey handed the Supreme Card to Quincy with both hands, "Mr. Quincy, here's your card."
"Alright, thank you." Quincy took the card and thanked him. He stood up and walked out of the room.
"Mr. Quincy, please wait a moment..." How could Bailey dare to neglect an important client like Quincy? He had to personally see him off. However, the asset checking system on his computer had not been closed, and the fingerprint verification machine and apparatus for iris identification and the like had not been placed back into the safe. The surveillance in the VIP room was connected to the office of the regional director, so he did not dare to violate the rules.
In the hall.
Lacey was anxiously waiting. How could there be nothing happening inside? Could it be that that man murdered Bailey in the VIP room?
The more Lacey thought about it, the more frightened she became. Right at this moment, Quincy walked out of the VIP room.
"Stop!" Lacey immediately shouted. She stepped on her high heels and quickly walked towards Quincy. She grabbed Quincy and said, "You can't leave. You barge into the VIP room without permission. When we confirm that there is no loss, I will send you to the police station."
"What are you talking about?! Let go!" Quincy shook her off, but Lacey grabbed him tightly and he failed.
Wasn't this woman too domineering? He saw that she looked down on him just now and he didn't mind it. Yet she was going too far!
"What is this?" Lacey's eyes were sharp as she saw the Supreme Card in Quincy's pocket. She took it out and stared at Quincy as if she had obtained evidence. "You actually stole a card. This is an economic crime. I must send you to the police station."
Lacey naturally wouldn't have thought that this card belonged to Quincy. She subconsciously thought that Quincy must have used some excuses to enter the VIP room. He pretended to be stupid and then took advantage of the client manager's carelessness to steal a Supreme Card!
"Let go!" Quincy was tired of this woman.
"Are you feeling guilty?" Lacey became even more confident.
With them arguing, the other guests in the hall rushed over and surrounded them. Some of the guests even went forward to help Lacey catch the thief.
Right at this moment, Bailey, who had sorted things out, quickly walked out of the VIP room.
He had personally witnessed Quincy's assets. He was the biggest depositor of the JM City Branch. Furthermore, when using the fingerprint identification machine to verify his assets, the system said that Quincy was the only part of the 01 clan. There was so much money even in a subsidiary account, then, how wealthy could the whole family be?
How difficult was it to meet such a wealthy person? Since he had met him, how could he lose the opportunity to flatter him? Even if he just got familiar with him, in Bailey's eyes, it was a huge honor and had huge potential benefits!
However, when he stepped into the hall, he saw Lacey wrestling with Quincy with a very harsh expression! And Quincy was extremely angry!
Bailey was shocked. Lacey was such a fool! Right now, she was not only playing with fire herself, it was very likely that she would implicate him!
How could she touch a person with 1. 4 billion savings in his account? He could kill her without her knowing the cause by moving his fingers!
