Martha Doesn't Believe It

Franz had just returned from finding evidence of the people who had harmed him that day. He immediately wanted to tell Hana when he got home. But what happened was not what he wanted.

"I'm home..."

"Mom... Hana... Daniel.. come here.. I brought you souvenirs!" Franz shouted with both hands carrying two paper bags.

Franz sat on the cream-colored living room chair while waiting for the people he called earlier to come. Unexpectedly, it was not the people Franz had called, but Martha, his own sister, who came out.

"Brother Franz, why didn't you marry Karina? Isn't Karina very beautiful and reliable?" Martha asked. The girl wanted to know from her brother's mouth about Karina.

"Don't ever talk about her again. I'm fed up with all her behavior. How reliable is she, if you know, she's already deceived me for all you know," Franz said in a casual, emotionless tone.

"Deceived how do you mean, Brother Franz?"

"You don't know anything about my accident with Hana, do you? Obviously, you're from Mexico, how can you know some of the bad facts that your brother has experienced because of Karina,"

"I still don't understand what you're saying, Brother Franz,"

"Me, Hana and Daniel had an accident after my match. And do you know what happened next? I lost my memory, and Karina is still trying to separate me from Hana."

"That's good. That way Brother Franz won't have to deal with that obscure Hana anymore," Martha said with a sardonic look.

"Good you say? You still want me to have a relationship with that manipulative woman?"

I was very disappointed in him after I remembered everything, but fortunately I divorced him as soon as my memory returned. I only loved Hana after our marriage, so you have no right to interfere with the state of my household with Hana now," Franz explained everything so Martha would understand that here was her biological sister suffering because of Karina's actions.

"What? You're too much! You should have defended your marriage with Karina! Brother Franz is EVIL!" Martha said emotionally and stood in front of Franz.

"Evil you say? Yes, I am. You can also report Karina for marriage manipulation because she made me forget my own wife and made her suffer by marrying her without my first wife Hana's permission. Now who's evil? You still think that I'm the bad guy here? You keep blaming me, I don't care. I won't think of you as my brother either if you're still defending Karina." Franz then stood up and walked towards the kitchen to get a drink. Leaving Martha who was still thinking hard.

"Should I go see Sister Karina? I still feel that Brother Franz isn't telling the truth. How could Sister Karina be that bad to Brother Franz?"

"No! I still don't believe that Sister Karina is that evil. But if Franz was married to Karina and they're divorced, then Karina must have had her first night, right? That's very good news! I'm sure that Karina must be pregnant with Franz's child. I'm eager to meet him and have a new nephew soon. I'll make them reunite at all costs!" With great confidence, Martha flashed her smiling smile.

"What do you want now? I don't have much time," asked Mistress Helena. Karina knelt in front of Madame Helena.

"I apologize if I was wrong to reject Daren. I am truly sorry about that. I promise not to make the same mistake again, Mistress Helena."

"You think just saying 'sorry' can solve all problems, huh? I still remember how disrespectful you made Daren," Mrs. Helena's cynical tone hurt Karina.

"I know, it's not easy for you to forget what I did to Daren. That rejection did break Daren's heart, but allow me to make it right, Mrs. Helena. If forgiveness can't solve the problem, then I'll prove to myself that I can start loving Daren," Karina explained. Karina could see that Madame Helena was smiling frivolously.

"Daren has agreed to return to me, Lady Helena. I'm just waiting for your and Mr. Jhonny's blessing."

"You asked me what I wanted, didn't you?" Karina looked up to see Lady Helena's face. Nodding twice in agreement to what Madame Helena had asked. Also with teary eyes full of hope.

"Please, please really go away from my son Daren's life. That is what you must do. Never come here again. If you love Daren, you must never see him again. Get out of my son's life forever! My son also deserves to be happy with another girl of his choice. And it certainly won't be you, understand!" From the tone of voice and the look in Mrs. Helena's eyes, it seemed as if she was sad. Her hands were also clasped together in a pleading manner.
