Meeting the Mother
BRAK!
"What are you guys doing? You can't even find Franz! I'll never pay you because you're not doing your job right!" That was the voice of Mrs. Kelly scolding her hired men who couldn't find Franz. Her temper was getting the better of her. They were now at a cafe close to Mrs. Kelly's house.
"We did everything we could, Mrs. Kelly. We searched for Franz using GPS too, but it wasn't that easy to find him. We found no sign of Franz. Or is it possible that he has already returned to the village?" said Mrs. Kelly's messenger. Mrs. Kelly's eyes glanced sharply as she thought.
"No way, there's Karina, Franz's wife, in the village. And I'm sure if Franz had returned, Karina would have contacted me. But right now she hasn't contacted me, which means Franz isn't in the village. I don't want to know, you have to find Franz! I don't want Franz to go back to Hana. You need to find Franz at Hana's apartment!" Mrs. KElly ordered.
"We searched Hana's apartment, but it was empty. Not a single item was left in the apartment. Is it possible that Hana has started to move out because she's obeyed your request all this time, Mrs. KElly?"
'Yeah, well, if Hana really has moved out, I should be happy that Franz won't be seeing that unlucky woman anymore. But the problem is that Franz hasn't met her until now. That's what's giving me a headache, damn it!" grumbled Mrs. KElly to herself as she brushed her bangs back.
"It's a relief that Hana has moved on. But it's useless if Franz hasn't been found yet. I want Franz found no matter what tonight, you have to find him, understand! If you want to get paid, then work properly!" Threatened Mrs. KElly who immediately left the cafe.
_
Franz was back in the house he had missed for so long. Holding the side of the chair and table, as well as the memories that were in that house with Hana back then.
"This chair... I used to treat Karina here and Hana got jealous, so I tried to put it up." Franz said. Then he went upstairs, to the room he used to share with Hana. There were still some of Hana's clothes and Daniel's baby basket.
"Now the baby boy is growing well. This baby basket will no longer be used if Hana comes back here." Smiling slightly, Franz went back downstairs to the living room. At the same time, his mother came home and opened the door.
CEKLEK!
Mrs. Kelly's eyes opened wide when she saw her son in front of her. Yes, the son she had been looking for until she argued with the old man was back! Even her mouth dropped open in surprise.
"Franz! Are you back, son?" Mrs. Kelly immediately walked over and gave Franz a cheerful look.
"Why didn't you meet Karina in the village? You shouldn't have come here, let Mom take care of you. You just take care of Karina," Franz smiled lightly and then laughed.
"Take care of Karina in the village? Hahahahaha, don't dream of it, Mom," he replied curtly. Making his mother frown in confusion.
'What's wrong with Franz? Why is he being like this? Usually if I talk about Karina, he immediately obeys my orders. Has he remembered everything? I need to contact Karina!' Mrs. Kelly thought.
"I will never stay with a girl who has taken advantage of my memory loss to become her husband,"
DEG!
"What do you mean, Franz? I don't understand at all. Who's taking advantage of the situation? Karina is a good girl, she has never taken advantage of your memory loss, Franz," Mrs. Kelly explained so that her secret with Karina wouldn't be revealed.
"Ah... good girl huh? Then why don't you call Hana a good girl too, Mother? It's clear that she didn't take advantage of my state of recovery from memory loss at all. She also never forced me to remember the past..." Before Franz could continue talking about Hana, Mrs. Kelly interrupted him.
"STOP! Don't ever say a word about that unlucky woman, Franz!" Mrs. Kelly snapped.
"Why, it's not you who's always praising Karina. Why shouldn't I praise Hana? Oh I know... because you don't like Hana being your daughter-in-law, do you? I know, Mom. I remember everything," Franz deliberately circled his mother who was still trying not to get angry.
"Franz, you'd better go to the village to see Karina. It's a pity she's in the village alone after a few days of marriage with you," Mrs. Kelly didn't want to talk about Hana, she changed the subject. Franz also followed the flow of his mother discussing other things.
"Married, huh? I set her free, Mother," Franz folded his arms across his chest. Mrs. Kellu was instantly more surprised as her forehead furrowed and her eyebrows drew together.
"What do you mean, Franz? Freeing what?"
"You still don't understand?" Mrs. Kelly shook her head slowly.
"I've divorced her, and she's already signed the divorce papers. It's only a matter of time before we're officially separated!" Franz smiled as he looked at his mother's angry face.
"Wha... what? Why didn't you tell me, Franz? What exactly is wrong with Karina that you're divorcing her!"
"KARINA HAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION TO KEEP ME AWAY FROM HANA WHO IS CLEARLY MY WIFE, MOM! AND THAT INCLUDES MANIPULATIVE ACTIONS! I FEEL CHEATED HERE! DO YOU UNDERSTAND? YOU'RE ALSO THE SOURCE OF ALL THIS, RIGHT? I KNOW, THAT'S WHY I WANT YOU TO APOLOGIZE TO HANA!" Snapped back Franz who was already emotional as well, his expression without a smile.
"If not, then..." Franz deliberately paused his sentence.
"I won't hesitate to report you to jail for using your own daughter to marry a manipulative girl! Do you understand? And Karina will be armed too because I reported her to the police!" Franz retorted. Mrs. Kelly's eyes widened even more.
"You have the nerve to go against your mother, huh? You disobedient child!"
"If a mother has made a fatal mistake, then it is no longer the child who disobeys the mother, but the mother who disobeys the child!" Franz retorted as he left the house. Mrs. Kelly's knees suddenly became numb and she fell on the cold floor of her house.
"What should I do now?"
