23. The Alter Ego 2.
[Ace]
Kissing Emily was the best feeling ever. I felt alive and the warmth spread across my chest. I didn't want to leave her honey drop lips but I knew that I had to pull away.
She was very responsive and she was thrusting her body at me. If I didn't know her better, I'd say she was trying to get some.
The first time our lips touched had been electrifying but she hadn't responded, but this time she did and it felt like I had just come alive, for some weird reason I truly deeply enjoyed the kiss and even got a boner.
Just from a kiss, I couldn't fucking believe it, my dick felt like it was about to escape my pants and explode.
But something was definitely off about Emily, one minute she was kissing the heck out of me, the other minute she wanted to run away from me and now she wanted to go someplace.
"Nah." I shook my head as I stared at her in confusion. "What is up with you, Em?" I asked.
"Whatever are you talking about?" She replied and chuckled softly.
She looked like Em, her voice sounded like Em but she wasn't acting like Em at all, if I didn't know any better, I'd say she was…
"Wait, Em, did you have anything to eat, drink, or…" I sniffed as I asked.
"What do you mean, I thought you were fun, I cannot believe you're no fun at all." She frowned now and my heart dropped.
Her saying I was no fun sounded like a girl saying a guy got no game and a girl had said that to me never.
I looked at her more intently, I'd been around drugs and drug users most of my life so I could usually see the signs if someone was using.
Her pupils aren't dilated, bloodshot or droopy and though she seemed extremely calm, nothing else shows that she could possibly have used any drug.
I was thinking too much, I decided, this was Emily, she'd rather drink her own urine than use drugs.
She was different, I'd realized and I liked her difference. She probably was getting really comfortable with me and that was a nice thing because the faster she trusted me, the faster I could get my job done and leave her alone.
"Would you like to get some food?" I asked her and she smiled.
"Sure, I'd love that." Her eyes looked brighter and her smile wider, for a second I almost leaned in to kiss her again.
"Alright, let's go."
I climbed onto my bike and waited for her to climb up after me, the last time it had taken a couple of seconds but this time she just gathered her skirt and swung her leg across the bike, she didn't even wait for me to grab her hand before she held tightly onto me.
For some reason, her actions warmed me up and I decided that I liked this side of her very much.
I spied her thighs as I sped away and I prayed that I would be able to concentrate, no female had ever moved me the way she did and honestly, it was beginning to piss me off because it was strange and I didn't like to feel out of control.
I pulled up in front of Donna's place and we got down and walked inside the diner.
"Donna." Emily squealed to my surprise and hugged the older woman.
Apparently, I wasn't the only stunned one because her action left Donna speechless.
"I'll go pick out a table." She said and sauntered away from us.
"What did you do to that sweet child?" Donna looked at me in surprise after Emily left.
"Nothing, I feel she's just coming out of her shell," I said and Donna smiled.
"That means you're doing something right, she's not like the others, and make sure you treat her well, I don't need to tell you what I'd do to you if you hurt her."
"I know." I chuckled nervously and left to join Emily who was fussing over the table.
"What's wrong, Em?" I asked her and she smiled at me.
"Nothing, the tables are round, I thought they were square." She said and I nodded.
"Yeah, Donna changed this table for us, she said round tables are more romantic." I smiled at her and watched as her cheeks reddened.
"Oh, okay." She looked at her hands as she spoke.
"Ace, it's so wonderful to have you here, can I take your order?" Jenna worked over and I winced inwardly.
Like she did the last time, she had her hand on the table, baring her chest to me and backing Emily, completely ignoring her.
"Ah…"
"Can you get your hands off the table?" Emily interrupted me.
"Ah…" Jenna smiled coyly and removed her hands slowly, keeping eye contact with me. "I didn't see you there, I'm so used to serving Ace alone, I didn't think he would have company." She turned to Emily and said.
"Wow."Emily chuckled and leaned back. "Are you that interested in all your customers that you know who they eat with?" She asked and the look on Jenna's face was so funny I was having a hard time keeping a straight face.
"Wow, babe, she's such a good waitress don't you think?x Emily leaned over and grabbed my hand in hers. "Let's not keep her waiting, she must have been on her feet since morning, what would you like to order, babe?"
I just stared at Emily, I was speechless, I never thought the day would come when I would say this but talking back and standing up for herself even though subtly was sexy as hell on her.
"You know what I'd like to eat, babe." I teased her and Jenny's hand tightened around her pen, any tighter and the pen would snap.
"Oh, that's right, me." She replied so easily and laughed.
"You're right." I leaned into her but as I was about to kiss her, Jenna slammed her notepad on the table and glared at us.
"I'll come back to take your order." She frowned and walked away.
"What's gotten into her," Emily said so innocently but mischief danced in her eyes.
"She's probably tired from standing so long." I offered and we both burst out laughing.

"Thanks for dropping me back home." Emily smiled at me as I dropped her off in front of her house.
"Em." I started and cleared my throat, now I wish I had kissed her before we left the diner.
The lights in her house were still on meaning her parents were still awake and I didn't want to cause any problems for her.
"I would like to take you in my arms and kiss you…"
"No, my parents." She gasped.
"I know, I just had to tell you how I feel," I said and she nodded.
"I'll see you in school tomorrow." She said and disappeared into the house before I could respond.
"I'll text you," I said to the empty door and turned around, my phone rang just before I reached my bike and I picked it up.
"Where the fuck are you?" Max sounded angry.
"What?" I frowned and then I remembered that the boss had sent me to grab a package. "I'm so sorry Max, I fucking forgot."
"I don't know what is wrong with you these days, Ace but you need to wake up, you could get killed for making mistakes." She replied angrily.
"I'm sorry, Max, I'm gonna head over there now."
"No need, be thankful I already helped you collect the package but you need to get here like now." She said and I laughed.
"That's why I love you, Max." I said and she just ended the call.
It was funny Max was the only girl I had ever said that to and she knew that I didn't even mean it.
Emily had been so distracting to me these days I needed some sort of release. I'd been using more drugs than I usually did but this time I craved a different kind of release, one that Max could give me.

"Fuck's wrong with you, where's your head." Max slapped the back of my head as I entered the warehouse.
"Ouch." I bit my lip as she walked in front of me.
"That ass's looking like a snack, Max," I said as she handed a package over to me.
"Deliver that tomorrow and don't fuck up." She ordered and I nodded.
I placed the package in my bag and grabbed her hips before she walked past me.
"Let's go back to your place, Max."
"What happened to your house, don't you have school tomorrow?" She asked.
"I don't want to go back home." I gritted my teeth as I answered her and she nodded.
That was the way it was between us, no questions.
"Fine." She smiled and pulled me down for a kiss.
I kissed her hard and rough like she liked like I thought I liked but somewhere at the back of my mind, I imagined kissing Emily, slowly and softly.
"What the hell, man." She pushed me away from her suddenly.
