Endless Hostility
"What took you so long? What was there to talk about?" Jacob asked, who was sitting waiting on a chair in the back garden.
Grandma and I came with raspberry muffins and darjeling tea. Jacob looked at me sharply, with a look full of prejudice as if I had influenced his grandmother.
"Sorry to make you wait so long! Here's the cake and tea!" Said Grandma Maria while sitting on a chair.
"Who made the cake?"
"Why do you ask like that?"
"Because if Grandma doesn't make it, I won't eat it!"
"Don't talk like that, Jake! It's the same whoever made it, right? I made it and Jenni helped. We made quite a lot, so you can take it home!"
"Grandma, please don't say things that make it seem like we're related!"
"Why? Aren't you two neighbors? So, there's nothing wrong with-"
"Wait a minute! Neighbors? Who said that?"
"Yes! Jenni said earlier that you are neighbors, so you should start a good relationship!" Grandma said. Jacob looked so shocked, he immediately threw an even crueler look at me who pretended not to see it by sipping this very delicious Darjeeling tea.
I'm sure he'll get even more annoyed and will scold you severely at home later. But Jake, I won't let you be cruel to me, because I will use your grandmother to keep you from moving.
"I want to go home! I'll come again later!" He said as he got up from his place and prepared to leave.
"Don't you want to have dinner too?"
"Next time!"
"Then you have to take Jenni home too!"
"What? Why do I have to go home with him? I don't want to!"
"Don't talk like that! You have to take Jenni home safely. Just watch out if anything happens to her!"
"Oh my, Grandma! You must have been influenced by this crazy woman. Hey, what did you do to my grandma?" he shouted irritably.
"I didn't say anything!"
"Don't lie! You think I don't know what's inside your rotten brain?"
"Jake, stop it!" Grandma said in a loud voice. He looked angry and looked at Jacob with a quite scary expression.
Jacob was silent and didn't move, seeing his grandmother angry like this made him unable to argue anymore. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
"Okay, I'll take him home!"

I shuddered, it felt very uncomfortable sitting alone with him in the car. Not to mention that terrible look on his face made me a little scared. He was even colder than before. It seems he doesn't like people like me riding in his luxury sports car.
"W-wait a minute! A sports car? Isn't a car like this very expensive? There's no way someone with a low economy can afford it. Besides, her grandmother also lives in a house like a palace. That means, she's a rich person. Huh? S-so, for the past 10 days I have lived in the same house with a rich man?" I thought. Those stupid fantasies started to enter my mind, making me unable to hide my petty smile.
"Ehehehe... fun!" I muttered while laughing softly. Beside me, Jacob, who was driving, immediately stole glances.
"This fool! Why is he laughing to himself?" He thought. He started to feel afraid.
"Hey, why are you laughing to yourself? You're crazy, aren't you?"
"Huh? What? W-who's laughing?" I answered evasively.
"You think I didn't see your disgusting laugh? You're really crazy, aren't you?"
"Is there really a prohibition against laughing?"
"Please laugh as long as it's not in front of me!"
"Whether you want to laugh anywhere is none of your business, right? Who are you to dare stop me?"
"Tch! If you weren't a woman I would have strangled you!"
"If you want to strangle me, just do it if you dare! Just so you know, okay? I'm the former head of a gang in my hometown. I've often kicked dirty-mouthed men like you in the groin!"
"Damn it! Have you never looked in the mirror? Who do you think can still be polite when facing a woman like you?"
"There is! Proof that your grandmother is good to me!"
"How do you know my grandmother? You must have done something bad to her, right? Just admit it!"
"Hey, cold-hearted young master! Are you always prejudiced against other people? Correct your way of thinking!"
"You don't need to teach me! Just one look and I can tell there's something wrong with you. You must often commit crimes!"
"What? You want to say that I'm a criminal?"
"Isn't that true? What good person would force open someone's locked refrigerator if he wasn't a criminal? You must be a recidivist!"
"Bastard! You really need to be beaten, don't you? How dare you accuse me of being a thief. It's unforgivable!" I shouted irritably while grabbing his hair.
"Agh... you crazy woman! Let go! Didn't you see I was driving?" Jacob almost lost control of his car because his vision and focus were disturbed.
The car we were in was driving erratically, causing us to almost hit the vehicle in front of us.
"You think I care? You foul-mouthed man! You really need to be beaten...!"
"Let go of me! Aaagh...are you crazy?"
"You are dead...!"
