Chapter 452 Demand
Chapter 452 Demand
Early in the morning, I woke up and started another busy day. Around noon, I came back from outside, and Janna greeted me at the cave entrance. I gave Janna a playful pat on the butt and walked over to check on the injured female student.
Inside the cave, six female students, led by Lila, were all in good spirits.
One of them was quite pretty, while the other four, though average-looking, were very obedient and loyal, willingly following the orders of the women who were close to me.
Janna and Ciara could get them to do anything with just a word.
At that moment, the injured female student was still enduring the pain in her leg, squatting to the side and silently processing the bear meat with her companions.
"Hey, Michael," Lila called out, directing her five classmates.
Seeing me, she immediately came over.
"You've been busy all morning. Take a break," I said with a slight smile, glancing down at the female student's injured leg.
She wasn't particularly attractive.
Her injured leg was only covered by a pair of white shorts.
Her young, firm leg, with a few red scars, was right in front of me.
I gently touched the injured area on her leg.
The female student winced in pain, her face showing a hint of shyness.
"Let her stay in the cave for the next few days. She shouldn't go out," I told Lila.
"Got it, Michael. Thanks," Lila nodded gratefully.
The injured student also gave me a grateful look.
"Michael, I'm sorry. We were busy all morning yesterday and didn't bring back much food with Selene," Lila said, reminding me of Selene.
I wondered where Selene was. She had left the cave earlier and hadn't returned yet.
"Where's Selene?" I asked Lila curiously.
Lila blushed slightly.
At that moment, Lila was wearing a simple white t-shirt with no bra underneath.
The slightly stuffy weather in the cave made her sweat a lot.
With the sweat soaking through, her nipples were quite noticeable. Just a glance made my throat dry, surprising me with my stamina after a busy night.
Lila seemed pleased with the situation.
She pushed her chest up a bit, making the scene even more obvious, then whispered in my ear about Selene's whereabouts.
"I know where Selene went and what she's doing," Lila said softly.
"She went to trade some supplies with those shrewd women."
"Shrewd women?" I was momentarily confused but quickly realized she meant the women from the finance department.
"Trade supplies? What supplies?" I was puzzled.
Lila blushed even more. "Those supplies," Lila said, shaking her body and giving me a look like I was being dense.
"What supplies exactly?" I was getting impatient. Why was Lila being so vague?
Then it hit me. "Women's supplies," Lila pouted and ran off.
Now I understood. I hadn't expected Selene to be trading for those kinds of supplies.
"Why do they need those supplies?" I muttered to myself but quickly understood.
On a deserted island, women's clothes could get torn, and they could wear very light clothing.
I had even heard that in some caves with men, women sometimes didn't wear clothes to please them.
But no matter what, women always needed those supplies during certain days of the month. Those supplies were, of course, sanitary pads.
However, with so many women, no amount of sanitary pads would be enough. I needed to teach them how to make reusable sanitary pads.
The women on Island One used those kinds of pads.
However, after discussing with Selene when she returned, I realized we lacked some materials to make those pads.
"We need absorbent materials," I thought to myself.
At that moment, we had plenty of food in the cave, so we didn't need to worry too much about food for now.
With extra time, I didn't want to waste it.
Besides guarding against potential monsters in the jungle, the main task was to find good absorbent materials for these women. Additionally, I needed to consider and prepare for some other living necessities.
Should we set up a bonfire area on the island?
If a large ship passed by or a plane flew overhead, we could light it to signal them.
Or should we build a large raft?
Or even, like the natives, hollow out some big trees to make small boats.
Not to escape the island with these small boats, but to use them to explore the surrounding islands.
After the cruise ship wreck, about a hundred or two survivors ended up on this second island.
But what about the surrounding islands? I estimated each island had about a hundred or two survivors.
How were they living? What supplies did they have?
Could we trade some supplies with them?
The initial food crisis was now manageable.
As people adapted to island life and improved their fishing skills, this crisis would soon pass.
People would even have the energy and ability to explore deeper into the jungle.
They might even reach the center of an island. I thought about the map I had taken from the captain's safe.
Especially the marked points in the center of the island.
I was really looking forward to such an adventure.
