Dillion pov
The next morning, we woke up, everything went by in a blur. We had to get everything in order for the ball, send out new invitation’s, and everything in between. We also had to go shopping for our outfits for the ball. Nash got a black suit with a blue shirt, whereas I got a blue suit with a black shirt. We got Maxi a blue shirt with a black pair of pants, and for Sage we got a blue and black dress. But again, they will have other clothes to change into for when they get uncomfortable in these clothes. We got the decorations and everything ready for the ball.
Today is the day of the ball and I am super nervous. This morning when I woke up I had to ran to the bathroom because I was nauseous. It has been happening the last few days. “Are you okay” Nash asked me when I got out of the bathroom. “Yeah, it is just a stomach bug” I replied. “Or my nerves are getting the best of me for the ball tonight” I said while leaning into him. He looked at me. “If you are not better by tomorrow I am taking you to the doctor” he said. I just nodded my head because I am already going today and if it is what I think it is then I want to surprise him. “Okay I have to go and help dad with the last things, what are you guys doing today” he asked me.
“I am just going to get some snacks and things for them today, and take them to the park, we will be back this afternoon” I replied. “Be safe and call me if you need anything” he said. I nodded my head and kissed his cheek. Nash then left. I sat for a few more minutes on the bed. “Mamma” I heard Maxi yell from the other room. I smiled. I stood up and walked to their room. I saw 2 pairs of eyes looking at me our the cribs. “Good morning my babies” I said. I went and picked Maxi up out of his crib. I hugged him and kissed him. I placed him down on the carpet before I went to Sage. “Good morning my princess” I said while picking her up and hugging her also giving her a kiss on her head.
“Come on let’s get you guys ready for today” I said. Maxi walked towards the closet and me following him with Sage in my arms. “What do you guys want to wear” I asked them. I placed Sage down next to Maxi while grabbing a diaper for each of them. They might be potty training, but I am not risking getting wet in the mall today so diaper day it is. “Hawooo” Maxi said. “Okay wolf for Maxi” I said while grabbing his gray wolf shirt with his long grey sweatpants and his black sneakers. I looked towards Sage. “What do you want to wear today, or can Mommy choose for you” I asked her. “She looks at me then at her clothes that she can see. “Brothee” she said. I smiled at her. “Okay same as Maxi it is. I chose her gray shirt that also has a wolf on and black tights and a black tutu to go over her tights.
“Okay let’s go to Mommy and Daddy’s room, Maxi takes Sage hand please” I said. Maxi and Sage walked towards our room while I grabbed their things. I went to my room and changed Sage first then I changed Maxi. I walked towards our door and closed it because they couldn’t open it yet. “Okay Mommy is quickly going to shower then we can go and have breakfast” I said to them. They played with their toys in our room while I went to shower.
I quickly showered and washed my hair, before brushing my teeth and going to our closet. When I walked back into the room, I saw that my babies were still playing with their toys. I change into some comfortable clothes and go back out. “Okay let’s go and eat breakfast” I said while picking them both up. “I walked downstairs with them and when we got to the kitchen, I saw that their diaper bags were already packed with their bottles and snacks. I placed them into their highchairs. “Thank you Love” I mind linked Nash. “My pleasure Babe, enjoy your outing” he mind linked back. I made us some pancakes for breakfast.
When I place our food, I cut their food into smaller bites. I placed their food in front of them. “Do you guys want syrup or not with your pancakes” I asked them. “Please” Maxi said. “Plssss” Sage said trying to copy her brother but at the end just nodding her head. I smiled at them and threw syrup of all of our pancakes. I made sure to put on their bips so that they don’t spill food on their clothes. While eating I was in my thoughts. What if I really am, will Nash be happy, are we ready, were the thoughts running through my mind. “Mommy done” Maxi said. I looked at them and saw that they were both done, Maxi ate everything and Sage is left with a little bit of food.
“Okay then let’s clean your faces and get going” I said. I took our plates and placed them in the sink. I then grabbed the pack of wet wipes we keep in the kitchen and cleaned them up and placed them on the ground. I grabbed the bags and the house keys along with Nash truck keys because the baby strollers are in his truck. I made sure we had everything before locking the house. I placed the bags in the passenger side and picked up Sage first. I placed her in her car seat and strapping in in. I then picked up Maxi and strapped him in before climbing in the diver side. I buckled my self in before starting the truck and driving to our destination.
