Chapter 14-Confused

She took a deep breath before she opened the car's door. In front of her is the house where she grew up. This house holds so many bad memories for her.

She doesn't feel at home after all because this is not her home.

She opened the gate without tapping the doorbell. She made herself welcome to her own house.

She opened the front door and no one is in there. It seems like, they aren't home? She thought.

She still waited until 30 minutes passed and it seems like she's alone in her parents house. She stood up and something inside her wants to get inside her twin's room.

Dali-dali siyang pumanhik ng hagdan at pumasok sa ikalong pinto na nasa bandang kaliwang pasilyo ng second floor.

Tumambad sakaniya ang malinis na kwarto at maayos na pagkaka lagay ng mga make up kits. That's her twin's hobby after all. She sat on Selena's bed and she looked around. Wala namang kakaiba.

"It seems like, I can't find anything here..." She whispered to herself. She was about to come out the room when she heard a footsteps coming near the room where she's in.

She got panicked and immediately get inside Selena's closet. She didn't lock it at may konting awang ang pagkakasara niya nito.

She stop doing any noise and waited for someone to finally get inside. She stilled when she heard a voice. A woman's voice. And it's seems familiar to her.

"Everything's going according to my plan ate." The voice said. The woman walk near the side table and from she can see who it is from her place. Natutop niya ang bibig ng makita ang mukha ng kaharap.

For God's sake! That's Samantha Denise Richards! And she's calling Selena, ate?

Naguguluhan siya sa nangyayari ngunit nakinig pa rin siya sa sinasabi ng babae.

"After all this years, i still wanna take my revenge. Look at them, they seem so happy with your money." Samantha sat on the bed while looking at Selena's photo in the frame. She took it and smiled devilishly.

"What do you want me to do ate?" She bit her lower lip and stop herself from doing anything that'll make a sound.

"Hmm maybe I'm gonna play with them first? Haha i wanna see them suffer to be honest, i want them to beg for my mercy." Samantha looked away from the frame and she was shocked when she saw that she's crying. What's with this girl?

"You know ate Sam, i regretted for alternating with you. I should be the one who experienced their wrath. I should be the one because i am the real Selena. But because of my selfishness, i lived my life to the fullest to be in your place." Litong-lito na siya. She keeps on stopping herself to gasp.

What she hears is too much!

"But don't worry, i'll take care of Chelsea and ate Selene. I won't let them experience what you felt. I'll protect them because that's my duty." She heard the door of the room opened. She heard their mom's voice.

"What are you doing here Selene?" Their mom called Samantha as Selene. Samantha pretended to be Selene and act innocently.

"I just wanna visit you mom." Kallia scoffed. She doesn't believe to what Selene said.

"Yeah right, as if i wanna see you again." Samantha chuckled.

"Hey, that's unfair mommy. I wanna see you and dad." Kallia crossed her arm around her chest and raised her eyebrow.

"Well, I don't wanna see you again Selene. After what you've done to your sister? Get out! I don't wanna see your goddamn face anymore!" Samantha laughed. Kallia got annoyed and was going to slap her but Samantha got Kallia's hand.

"What mommy? Are you going to hurt me just like what you did to my twin? Just try and you'll see what i can do." Kallia took a step backwards and just opened the door.

"Get out!" Samantha laughed again and raised her middle finger to Kallia.

"Serves you right! Don't worry i don't wanna your face too!" After that Samantha walked downstairs and left.

She on the other hand stayed on the closet and still processing what she heard. She's so confuse, feeling empty and lost. Just what the hell is happening?

Selene doesn't know how long she stayed inside the closet until she felt that no one's at home again. She immediately left the house and stopped to her tita Shienna's house.

She tapped the doorbell and the gate immediately opened. It's remote control after all.

She saw her tita Shienna in the garden. Drinking her coffee while looking at the garden.

"Tita Shienna?" The woman looked at her and gestured her to sit.

"What's with the sudden visit Selene?" Her tita Shienna isn't looking at her. She's used to it since when she's still young this woman is really grumpy and mysterious at the same time.

"How are you tita?" The woman glanced at her and just shook her head.

"As you can see, I don't feel anything." She nodded.

"Tita, i came here because i wanna ask something." Shienna nodded at her, telling her to continue.

"Do you know anything about what happened in the past?" Shienna seemed shocked. But after a minute her poker face back.

"Why'd asked?" She gripped her hands tightly.

"I think i need to look on the past tita. My present is so confusing to the point that I can't understand what's happening in my life." Shienna nodded.

"Just never ask your parents Selene. They are no good, never look in the past and just let everything happen. Remember, everything happens for a reason. I can't say anything to you other than, live eith your present and never look back." Why it seems like Shienna doesn't want her to know what really happened?

"I can't do that tita." Shienna sadly smiled.

"You can Selene, don't be like me. Look at me right now, because of my wrong decisions my life is useless." She shook her head. Still disagree.

"But tita, please tell me." Shienna looked away.

"I can't say everything in detailed, all i can say is they aren't your real parents. You aren't just twins but a triplets. Don't look for the other one because she's dead." She already knows that but the revelations that they aren't her real parents is something big.

Who's her real parents?

"Who's my parents tita?" Shienna shook her head.

"I don't, and i gave up looking for them. I wanna say sorry to Selena for letting everything happened. I just don't have choice and because of being weak look at me now, conscience is eating me." Shelooked away. She can see that Shienna's been like this for a year after her husband died. Selene sighed. Feeling defeated.

"I'm sorry for bothering you tita, i have to go. Thank you for the information." Shienna nodded again and never look at her until she left.

She got out her car and a strong arms wrapped her waist.

"I missed you baby..."

"Haxon, what're you doing here? J thought you'll be home at Friday? Why now?" There's something fishy she can feel it.

"Uh, i just missed you. Come'on, let's get inside." She nodded at nagpatangay na sa hila ng binata.
