Chapter 34 STOLEN KISS
"Take off your clothes, play pet," Drexton said, his voice dangerously calm.
Time paused.
Ixora froze.
Just like ice, his words were slowly going into her nerves.
Her eyes remained fixed on his, but turned into a glare.
Her palms folded into a fist as his words replayed in her head.
Each word marking its territory deep into her skin, heart and soul.
"What. Did. You. Just. Say?" she muttered through clenched teeth. Her eyes threw daggers at him.
Drexton sank deeper into the chair. "Take off your clothes, play pet," he repeated. Same voice. Same aura.
Ixora's eyes turned red, and she stood.
"To hell with you," she said, and flipped the table upside down.
The whole content on the table came crashing to the ground, and Drexton didn't even for once flinch, nor did his gaze leave her.
"What do you even take me for? If you know your hug comes with a price, you could have declined to hug me. Why hug me when you know I have a fucking price to pay? You are nothing but a sadist who derives joy from hurting other people," she spat defiantly.
Drexton's eyes turned dark. It felt like the darkness inside the room had all gone inside his eyes. Still, he stayed calm.
Ixora didn't flinch at his gaze. She could see the darkness in it. She had no idea what he'd do to her. The vivid memory of how he tore her clothes still lives fresh in her mind. That made her know she had to leave this place. This man was capable of pushing boundaries to their endless limits.
"You won the game. I'm sure you must be feeling so high and mighty. You could have simply asked for anything. Money. Anything. But you chose to behave like the jerk that you are," she said, returning his dark gaze with a glare.
She got ready to leave when—
Growl.
It came out silent, but she knew she had just heard something growl, and, worst of all, behind her.
"What was that?" She thought, her confidence slowly leaving her.
Growl.
It came again, but this time, deeper than the first. Louder than the first.
She trailed her gaze to Drexton and saw he was still in that same position.
Was he not hearing the sound?
With a thudding heart, she turned around.
Her blood ran cold while her eyes stayed glued to the thing in the shadow.
Big body, eerie yellow eyes, something that looked like an animal rather than a human.
She couldn't move, couldn't blink until another bulb came on. The bulb gave her the necessary light to see what was behind her.
A huge wolf.
"Ahh!!!" She let out a scream while raising her hand in the air.
The wolf growled again and took two dangerous steps.
"No!!!" She screamed again.
She spun around and jumped on Drexton's body, immediately wrapping her hand around his neck.
Warm. Soft. Tender.
Drexton froze, taking his gaze at her.
She hid her face in his chest while shaking visibly at his body.
"Save me," she mumbled, tightening her arms around his neck.
"Get down," Drexton said, his tone deeper than usual, as if it were a low warning.
Has he gone mad?
How did he expect her to climb down his body when there was a breathing wolf in the outhouse?
This was something she was going to regret later.
Drexton stayed still, his eyes still fixed on her.
The darkness in his eyes had gone. It has now been replaced by...
Drexton's bones tightened.
Ixora felt a cloth-like material pressing the back of her neck.
His bandage.
Before she could even comprehend what was going on, he pulled her by the neck and crashed his lips on hers.
Ixora's hand loosened on his chest. She wanted to fall from his thigh, but he pressed his pads on her neck. His grip increased as he kissed her.
His palm pressed harder, causing her to gasp. He shoved his tongue down her throat, not even giving her time to breathe.
She wasn't kissing back. She wasn't getting the chance. His kiss was dominating.
Her stomach constricted, and she could feel her neck aching from his grip. His tongue and mouth dominated her whole mouth.
She tightened her grip against his shirt and made to kiss him back when he broke the kiss.
Ixora released a breath from the kiss. She didn't even reciprocate the kiss.
He didn't allow her to kiss him back. He just broke the kiss after stealing her first kiss in the most domineering way ever.
His eyes were on her lip, which was now swollen and rosier as a result of the kiss. He wasn't surprised. Whatever he touches must have a visible change.
He released her neck. Without being told, she got down from his body and stood behind him.
The wolf's eyes are still on them.
Drexton stood, his height overshadowing every single thing in the outhouse.
He began walking out. The wolf followed him closely. Their steps fading into the silent room.
Ixora stood watching Drexton as he left without even sparing her a single glance.
The wolf didn't even look back. They were both leaving.
Drexton's tall shadow followed him until she couldn't catch a glimpse of him again.
He had left.
Like he wasn't the one who made her play chess and beat her without even trying.
Like he wasn't the person who had a wolf obeying him silently.
Like he wasn't the one who scared the shit out of her with a wolf.
Like he wasn't the one who had just kissed her in the worst way, she had never imagined losing her first kiss.
She touched her lip, telling herself it was only a price. A price for not taking off her clothes.
\[CAIUS' HOUSE\]
Caius dropped the cutlery and wiped his lips. He was the only one at the dining table. Bonnie, as usual, didn't come home, and Lorraine—she claimed she didn't want to have dinner.
He stood up and wanted to leave when his eyes caught Lorraine resting her hand on the staircase. She wore sexy lingerie that exposed her body. She had a seductive smile on her lips. Her head was slightly tilted to the left, letting her long hair fall freely at the side of her back.
She blew him a kiss before taking slow, seductive steps toward him. Caius' eyes were on her.
Lorraine got to him and gently trailed a wet kiss from his lip down to his neck.
Caius smiled, wrapping his arm around her waist.
Lorraine sucked on his neck, tracing her hand to get hold of his bulge. She rubbed her palm on the already-erected bulge, standing on her toes to reach his ear.
Caius' breath hitched when she bit his earlobe.
"I want you inside of me, tonight," she whispered, her voice extremely low and lustful.
Caius pulled her down to his height and seized her mouth in a fiery kiss.
Lorraine smiled as he devoured her lips. He lifted her off her feet, still in the hot kiss, as he made his way to their room.
He kicked the door open and dropped her on the bed. He broke the kiss and took off his shirt. He leaned to kiss her again when she covered her mouth with her palm.
He raised his brow, staring at her.
"Not yet, baby," she whispered, tracing her fingers down his slightly hairy chest.
Caius breathed out and tried kissing her again, but she did the same thing.
"What is it?" he asked, his voice deep and husky.
Lorrain smiled, slightly pinching his nipples.
"You want me. I want you," She brought her fingers to his lips. "Tell me what the Castellan has to do with Drexton, and I promise to let you use me the way you want."
Caius stared at her. "What do you mean?"
"I know you are hiding something. Besides, I never even knew how you met Drexton or his story. I would like you to tell me everything today," she said, tracing her finger down to his bulge that poked into her thigh.
He held her hand before she could reach it.
"All these just for a story," he climbed down her body.
She sat up. "What do you want me to do? I am like a mother to Drexton. I see him as my very own son, and love him the same way I love Bonnie. I have every right to know what happened to him," she said, her tone rising by the minute.
Caius had an unbelievable look on his face. He picked up his shirt and put it back on. He glanced at his wife and shook his head before walking out of the room.
Lorraine glared at the closed door while biting her lips. She winced, blood erupting from her lips due to the harsh bite.
She picked up a pillow and threw it at the door. "Worthless man," she muttered.
