Chapter 113 CRACK
Hazel walked in with Drexton by her side. The employees lowered their heads, fingers locked in a cold place as some of them trembled. Their fears were visible, and the respect they gave Hazel wasn't missed.
Talk of pride, that's the look on Hazel's face. Her shoulders were held up high with pride and cocky. Thanks to Drexton, she got to show those low-life employees their place. Lucky them, they didn't lick her shoes.
Initially, she had told them to do it, but was able to stop herself before they could do it. She forgot she's acting as Ixora, and Ixora would never treat people like that. She ended up asking them to plead for mercy while on their knees. It was so fun to watch. She feels like a queen right now.
"Drexton." She held his arm, linking them together.
Drexton didn't reply, so she took it as a go-ahead to speak.
"Why did you change towards me?"
He opened the door to his office and walked in.
"At first you didn't believe I'm your Ixora."
He stopped walking and snapped his gaze at her.
Hazel's heart sank as her hand unknowingly slipped from his.
Why was he looking at her like that?
She took some steps back, her blood running cold. It was the same dangerous look.
Suddenly, his gaze softened, causing Hazel to heave a sigh of relief.
She didn't understand the reason behind his looks. All she had said was your Ixora, and he snapped his dark gaze towards her.
"I-I need to make a call," she stuttered, almost like a whisper, which she found hard to believe he heard.
He nodded, and she left while taking out her phone from her purse.
She immediately put a call to Nikita, tapping her phone urgently.
"Kita, where are you?" She had no reason why she was panicking.
No one spoke from the background as the only thing she heard was faint breaths.
"Nikita?"
"He's planning something," she finally spoke up.
"You saw everything that happened?"
"Have you forgotten we came together?"
Hazel exhaled. "I was caught up in his actions to forget. Our plan is finally working. He doesn't doubt me again," she said, happiness rising in her voice.
"We should start the plan. We wanted him to believe I'm Ixora, and he did. Gosh, this is a win-win for me. I've always wanted Drexton to myself. Now, I will enjoy him while we plot his ruin."
Nikita sighed. "I'm sending Winter to you."
The smile on Hazel's lips fell. "Winter, why?" she asked with a frown.
"She's your personal maid and your bodyguard. She has to be close to you at all times. She also has a role to play in destroying Drexton."
Hazel looked around, checking if somebody was coming.
She brought the phone to her lips. "What if he recognizes her?" she whispered.
"Then Dr. Felix will pay with his life," she said venomously. "We did a lot of work into changing her. Her hair, face, and even her scent. He assured us no one would recognize her, so if things go wrong, we'll switch to plan B, and that's with Dr. Felix's life," she said, each word as if being measured and broken.
Hazel gulped, saying nothing.
At times, she gets scared of Nikita. To her, she is more than a snake, always ready to spit out venom.
Nikita ended the call and trailed her gaze up to the mirror, meeting Winter's distant gaze.
"You should go in, obey Hazel's instructions. Spare no one else a glance, and when you see Drexton..." she paused, kissing the mirror with a smirk. "Hurt him if possible."
Winter nodded twice.
Nikita pressed a button, and the door to the back seat unlocked.
Like that, her entry into the company began, one, two, but each step at a time.

"Who's what?"
"Is that a human or a human robot?"
"Is she okay?"
"What is she doing here with that weird outfit?"
One of the employees came to her. "You can't go in?" She held her hand.
Winter faced her with her eyes slightly red. She grabbed the employee's hand in a hold that felt too tight for the employee.
The employee groaned in pain as Winter released her hand and she landed with a heavy thud.
"She's not human."
That's the first word that escaped her lips as she saw the spot turning red.
Three guards rushed into the building and grabbed both her hands, ready to bundle her out.
Winter stayed still, not struggling as her eyes hovered around the company.
Left, right, front, searching.
Then she spotted them, two shadows behind a closed door. Her eyes were able to see through the glass, and she saw Hazel leaning towards the wall, eyes drowned in fear, Drexton in front of her.
"Hazel is in danger," her mind screamed, too loud for herself.
Her eyes, red like danger, an unstoppable one, flashed at the three guards.
She pulled them closer and slammed their bodies together.
They landed on the floor, groaning.
She wanted to dash off when one held her leg.
With a quick turn, she sent her leg to his chin.
One of his teeth flew out as his mouth busted and his nose broke.
Then the sprint began. Her short hair banged on her shoulder; the long skirt didn't hinder her.
People shouted, called her mad, but she didn't care. The only thing that rang in her brain was that her master was in danger and needs saving.
Without slowing down, she knocked down the door with her body.
Like a flash, she was before them, hands stretched out in a fist towards Drexton's face.
Before she could hit him, he grabbed her hand and twisted it, causing her to fall.
Still, she stood, running to save Hazel.
She jumped to her feet, ready to kick him.
He held her legs and flipped her.
She landed on her feet. Slap, high.
Hazel stood by the side, not attempting to stop them.
In fact, she was impressed. Let them tear each other apart.
She imagined the scene, grinning from ear to ear. Two lovers are ready to destroy each other.
Winter lunged with the same speed. Protecting Hazel, ringing in her mind.
Drexton's eyes darkened as he came with his own speed, darkness and anger.
Here he was trying to fool this imposter, and here she is trying to protect the imposter. An imposter needs death, not protection.
They bumped their heads together and grabbed each other's neck roughly.
She needs protection.
She needs destruction.
Their anger and rage crashed and mixed. At the same time, they snapped their necks.
Cracks.
