Chapter 10 SEEK ME
\[HELL DEVILS HIDEOUT\]
Drexton stared at the bitch who had already passed out from the hot sex. He wasn’t surprised, though. No one could handle his monster—not a single one of them.
He traced his gaze down to his monster, before walking into the bathroom—not like sex ever gave him pleasure.
He stood in front of his mirror, as he stroked his monster...but it remained the same. He felt nothing, absolutely nothing. No pleasure. No sensation. Just numbness.
Knowing no matter how he stroked it, he would remain the same. He left it as he recalled the doctor’s words.
\---
“Just as I suspected, he’s suffering from a rare condition called tactile hypoesthesia,” Doctor Joanna said after conducting the check-up on Drexton.
“Tactile Hypoesthesia? What is that?” Caius asked.
Doctor Joanna pulled out some files from her drawer and showed them to Caius.
“As we can see here, the ability for him to feel sensation is very low. Tactile hypoesthesia is a reduced sense of touch or sensation in a specific area of the body. I’m sorry to say, but he has lost his sense of feeling. In other words...he has gone numb,” Joanna explained.
Caius and Joanna shifted their gaze to Drexton, and their eyes immediately held pity.
A young boy to lose his senses at this age. How is he going to cope?
“Doctor, is there anything that can be done?” Caius asked.
“Sure, there are—”
“That’s enough, Doctor,” Drexton cut her off.
\---
The groaning of the bitch pulled him back to reality as he stepped out of the bathroom, already dressed up.
The bitch stood and walked towards him despite the hellish pain between her thighs.
Her breasts bounced as she licked her lips seductively.
“I would die to have you inside of me again,” she said and tried touching him, but a cold look from him made her withdraw her hand.
He wasn’t surprised at all. They would die happily as long as they had their throats choked with his dick.
He left her and walked out of the room, straight to the balcony.
He sat on the chair and took out his phone.
He unlocked it and then went to his inbox. The first name that appeared there was Play Pet. His eyes darkened each second as the doctor’s words rang in his ears again: “He has gone numb.”
The whole thing started with the Castellan family, and he would surely end it with the Castellans.
He stared at the name again and slowly clicked on it.
\[IXORA’S HOUSE\]
Ever since she returned from Hazel’s house...since she promised she’d visit Aunt Maria, and she always kept to her promise, she had been on her phone, trying to learn more about Drexton.
It was like, apart from the life he had built for the public, there was nothing about him available on the internet.
Annoyed by the result, she kept her phone in the drawer and made her way to the bathroom.
She would be lying to herself if she said she wasn’t scared of Drexton and curious at the same time.
He didn’t give her a chance to talk.
Whenever he talks to her or calls her name, there’s this deep feeling she always gets, like he hates her...but why?
They haven’t even spoken to each other in the past—and play pet...why does he call her that?
Little thief...she paused, seeming to have remembered something.
“First, my dearest people. Now, my dearest possession.”
Could he be referring to the watch, or perhaps—
She exhaled. He was never direct when talking.
She pushed the door to the bathroom open and walked in.
She froze as her breath hitched, blinking repeatedly as her eyes got fixed on the scene in front of her.
On her mirror was a message written in red: ‘SEEK ME.’
She looked around, her heart palpitating madly.
“I hide, you seek. If you don’t find me, I will take my price.”
“No,” her breathing quickened, coming in short, shallow gasps. “He couldn’t be here,” she rushed out of the bathroom and darted her gaze around the room, but there was no sign of him.
She peeked out her window before picking up her phone and rushing down the stairs.
There was no sign of him.
She wanted to go outside when she paused, remembering something.
His effect was so strong that her body always reacted whenever he was around—but right now she isn’t feeling anything.
Her palms weren’t cold. The sitting room didn’t feel suffocating. Even the hairs on her neck weren’t standing, which means...
“He isn’t here,” she mumbled.
A text notification chimed on her phone.
She opened it to see just a single word.
Unknown: DARING.
\[MORNING, HIDEOUT\]
Drexton was preparing when Maddox walked in. They all had their own private houses, but most of their time was spent in the hideout.
“Joanna invited us to dinner. Says it’s up to three weeks. Haven’t visited,” Maddox said.
Drexton hummed a reply while fixing his tie.
“We are looking for Pet’s sister in Italy next. After she left, there was no news. So, no exact location yet,” Maddox said, and that instant, Jaxon rushed in.
“We have an emergency at the hospital.”
He and Maddox wanted to rush off when Drexton finally talked.
“Are you ready to receive beatings from your father?”
“You know how much I love that side of him,” Jaxon replied.
“The old man can just go and die of a heart attack,” he added, leaving the hideout with Maddox.
\[MILLER’S ENTERPRISE\]
James Miller— ranked second in the business world...wasn’t satisfied. His father has so many connections, yet Drexton ranks first and was even made head of the board members.
He adjusted his tie, trying to concentrate on the file before him, but the name Drexton wouldn’t let him.
Feeling frustrated, he closed the file and sank deeper into the chair.
“There is something off about Drexton that doesn’t meet the eye. He’s adored by the public—and why? Because they think he’s smart. I wouldn’t deny he is a genius. I heard he secured his first contract at the age of seventeen,” he muttered, his brain going deeper into Drexton.
“He smiles in public and behind he’s—” the door opened, and his secretary walked in.
He greeted him politely.
James shifted his focus to him.
“Did you find anything about her?” James asked.
“Yes, sir. According to what I was able to gather about her, her name is Ixora Castellan, the only daughter of the Castellan family. She is twenty years old and works as a secretary for Blackthorn Automobile. She used to—”
James raised his hand, cutting him off as he began thinking.
“Daughter of the Castellan. Isn’t she the one my father wants to fix our marriage? We have never seen each other face-to-face, but I’ve heard a lot about her from my father. She is the same girl—that explains why I felt attracted to her at the board meeting,” he thought.
“This whole thing just became a lot easier,” he thought out loud and looked up to see Evan still standing in his office.
“Drop the file here and leave,” he said, and Evan left.
He had a grin on his face as he opened the file. His eyes caught something.
“She once used to stalk Mr. Blackthorn.”
He closed the file, a smirk appearing on his face.
“So she is among the girls who have a crush on Drexton. Interesting,” he muttered and picked up his phone, dialing his dad’s number.
“Hello, son,” a man said from the background.
“Dad, concerning my alliance with the Castellan’s daughter, I am ready.”
