Chapter 26: Children
Tricia's POV
"Shhh, my beautiful girl. You're alright, I'm here." I cooed at the beautiful girl while picking her up and placing her in my arms.
"Here is her bottle. She only needs to eat between 2 and 3 ounces out of it. She seem relatively healthy and I would guess that she is brand new. Like around 24 to 48 hours old." Dr. Reese said while handing me Amelia's bottle.
I let out a sigh of relief hearing that my baby is okay.
The nurse that fallowed her is one that I have never met before, and I don't have a good feeling about her. I glance at her and caught her looking at my daughter in shear disgust.
I growl and in a flash I have her pinned up against the wall growling in her face.
"Justin take Amelia away from me right now because this angel doesn't need to see what I am about to do to this b.i.t.c.h." I told him and the second she was out of my arms I started shaking.
My vision went red and I could tell by the fear on her face that she didn't know that I was who I said I was. A good indicator that she wasn't a part of my pack, and she didn't smell like Justin's wolves did.
"Who the fuck are you?!" I growled in her face. I loosened my grip when I realized that the barbie looking brunette was passing out.
"You'll have to kill me because I am not telling you anything." She declared.
"That's okay, I have other ways of getting my information." I told her, before sinking my fangs into her flesh and extracting my information.
"She's dying dear." Justin said as soothing tingles shot up my arm where his hand laid. I hesitantly extracted my fangs from her and had the nurse put a bandage on her neck to stop the bleeding.
"Take her to the cells. And anybody else who thinks they can get one over on me are greatly mistaken." I tell the guards that were stationed outside my daughter's room. "2 of the wolves will do." I concluded.
They wrapped their hands around her arms and dragged her to the cells screaming things even my specialized hearing couldn't understand.
I turned to Justin and said, "She's Kathrine's apprentice, so she needs to be kept in one of the cells that Ashley bewitched so she can't use her magic or her gift of manipulation on any of the guards."
Justin's eyes glazed over and I knew he was letting the guards know where to put her.
I look at Amelia and am instantly captivated by her eyes. She has an almost Topaz color to her eyes with little golden specks in them. Her hair is a golden honey brown and it shines in the light, brining a warmth to her appearance.
I am so completely mesmerized by her appearance that I didn't realize I was being spoken too until Justin's voice pulled me out of my thoughts.
"Love?" He questioned with a confused expression on his face.
"Yes?" I replied as equally confused.
"They need to run the normal vision screening and such. We have an ultrasound so by the time we are both done they should have Amelia back to us." He explained.
I nodded and handed Amelia to Dr. Reese and then Justin led me to our own private ultrasound room.
"Alright your highness, we are going to try to get the ultrasound through your abdomen, if not I will have to go through your lady bits, however I believe that since you are a tribrid you may only have a month or two for your pregnancy, but because we have no proof that it just a guess." Dr. Harris said. She is an older woman that has been with my family since my father was born. She has salt and pepper hair but since Werewolves age slower I am going to assume that since she was in her mid-twenties when my dad was born that she is closing in on 60.
"Thank you." I said with a kind smile to try and cover Justin's growl.
"If I am right, we may even get to see what this baby will be." She said with enthusiasm. Just as my mother described her, she is a kind woman.
She put the cold blue gel across my lower abdomen and got her little wand thingy out, and in the black abys of the screen sat my baby, it has a strong heartbeat and I feel tears pricking my eyes.
"There's the heir to the throne. Your baby has a very strong heartbeat." She commented.
"Are we able to find out if we have a Prince or Princess?" Justin asked excitedly because I was speechless with tears running down my face.
"Well let's see." She said, before getting to the baby's gender she pointed out the baby's different body parts.
"I know what it is." I said after getting a wonderful vision of my mate chasing around A blonde haired little boy, I am assuming he gets that from my father and he has my striking emerald eyes, other than that he looks like Justin. The same jaw, hairline, everything.
"I think you do too dear." Justin said smiling at me.
"This baby will be the next kind of the three worlds. And everyone will respect and adore him." I said and watched Justin's reaction. His face goes from shocked to excited in a matter of seconds.
"King? As in a boy?" He asks sending shivers down my spine in anticipation.
"Yes, lover boy." I giggle.
"She's right." Dr. Harris said. "You appear to be on the verge of your second trimester. Since we don't have any known knowledge of how long your pregnancy will last, I want you to come in for weekly appointments okay." She concluded with a smile while walking out the door.
"Okay, lets go check on our baby girl." Justin said bringing me back to reality.
We walked back to the room she was in and I mind linked Kelsey to join us so she can meet her niece. Besides, baby cuddles always makes her feel better. I don't know how many times her mother had to drag her away from the nursery in the pack hospital before she passed.
Kelsey and Darren meet us at the door to her room and I rush up to her to give her a hug. I know she needs me right now.
"Okay, before I start crying again where is this baby girl I have heard so much about?" Kelsey asked with a chuckle.
"She's right through that door." I said nodding to my right.
We walked through the door and I picked up Amelia, turning to face everyone. Justin was behind me gazing down at her and I could feel the love he has for both of us through the bond.
"This is Amelia Renee Richards. Our daughter." I said with a smile on my face. And it will be even better when our pup is born.
"She is so beautiful. Even though she isn't your biological pup she sure does look a lot like the both of you." Kelsey pointed out.
The door slammed open and Dr. Reese came barreling through the door with Ashley in tow.
"Excuse me your majesty, but this cannot wait." Dr. Reese rushed out. "We haven't seen anything like this because there is another prophecy regarding this child and the one you are carrying currently."
"Well, get on with it!" Justin growled out, trying to hold onto some restraint on Tanner.
"Yes, it has been foretold that a king and queen will find an infant before a valiant battle, and that infant will be the next queen but will also be in grave danger. She is also the reincarnation of the Moon Goddess herself." Ashly explained.
We all stood there in shock.
Stacy is growling and pacing in my mind. Knowing this may make our lives a little worse. I hope we can live in peace. And I know we will protect her at all costs.
