Chapter 13 Sex dream
TARA:
I followed Mason quietly outside the veranda.
"Only the Alpha resides in his house. He's not mated for now." He announced.
"Really? How come?"
Stupid question. If he had a mate, he wouldn't have asked me to rest my head on his thigh.
"You'll find out soon enough."
And there I was, in the dark. I knew almost nothing about the Alpha but he seemed to know everything about me.
I didn't push further for an answer and just walked on quietly.
He led me to a small extension of the house. It was like a building built specially for gatekeepers, only that it was at the back of the house.
"Didn't you say only the Alpha resides here? Shouldn't we be heading out through the gate? I would hate to see him angry." I related my worry. The Alpha's ice cold gaze usually scared me to death.
"Well, he was kind enough to let you attach with him. Lucky you." He opened the door to the room, walking inside. I almost followed suit but seeing how beautiful the room looked, I stopped in my tracks.
"I think we're in the wrong room." I noted, stepping back gradually. "The owner might be very angry that we barged in like that. I think we should leave."
"Wrong room?"
Mason laughed and pulled me inside, shutting the door. My back hit the door as he trapped me between his strong pair of arms.
"Didn't you hear when I said nobody stays here except for Alpha Lucian? It's his personal house but he doesn't mind you staying in it." He leaned in closer. "Hmmm....I wonder why. Not even any member of his family has stayed over here. And yet, he had this room specially decorated for you."
What was he trying to do? And what was decorated for me? That wasn't possible. He already made it known that I was a slave, a tool for his revenge. Why would he go through such length for me?
I quickly shut my eyes and pursed my lips.
"Hmmm, you smell like his favorite flower. Which is also my favorite flower." He buried his face in my neck for some seconds before pulling away.
"Here's a change of clothes and something to eat for the mean time. If you need anything, reach out to the Alpha." He said, releasing me from his hold. He went ahead to drop the bag on the bed.
"Can't I reach out to you instead?" I asked.
"Well, if he permits it. But for now, reach to him and he'll get to me." He approached me and opened the door.
"I guard my favourite things with all of my might." He pinched my nose before stepping outside, leaving me alone.
I breathed sharply. That was intense. I could still feel my legs shaking from anxiety.
I looked around the room. There was a sizable bed sitting on a wooden bedstand. Beside it was a wooden drawer with a pretty lamp on it.
To the right were two seats; a sofa and an armchair.
There was a wardrobe and two other doors. I checked them out to see that one led to the bathroom while the other led to a kitchen.
I stood in the middle of the room, staring blankly into space.
Why was the Alpha this nice to me? Earlier he said he wanted me to be healthy.
"Oh, for revenge." I eventually remembered why he bought me. "Revenge against who exactly?"
But from how he and Nolan spoke, there seemed to have been bad blood between them. Alpha Lucian was mean and stern while Nolan was accommodating, least to my expectation.
What was even the relationship between them?
"I have to thank the Alpha later. This is too much for a slave like me."
I couldn't sleep that night.
A day ago, I was about to be killed for something I knew nothing about. But now, I was living in a comfortable place and I even ate the food that only the royal household was allowed to eat.
And to think I wanted them to continue with the execution. What a fool I was. Good thing the Alpha didn't let me die for nothing.
I checked the wall clock. It was already past 12 in the morning. I needed to do something.
"I know. Reading."
Reading always made me sleep off. Ellie taught me how to read and write when we were still kids and would force me to read a whole book but I always ended up dozing. It usually infuriated her as she would always wake me up with constant taps on my legs.
I miss her already. I wondered if I would be able to see her again.
I searched for anything to read in the drawers and luckily, I found some books but they weren't like the normal books Ellie usually gave me.
"Ruin me slowly, stepbrother. The mafia's temptation. My best friend's dad." I read the titles one after the other.
"These look nice." I nodded slowly, dropped two books and held unto 'Ruin me slowly, stepbrother'.
The title sounded funny to me. I knew step siblings had a way of bullying each other. Was that what the story was all about?
I had to find out. I opened the first page and flipped to the second. "Trigger warning?" I mused a smile, reading through. "That's right. This ought to make me sleep well."
Little did I know that I was signing up for my doom. It was past 4 in the morning and my eyes were still open. The things I had seen in that book made me feel hot and unusually fuzzy.
When it got to the peak moment, I closed the book to give myself enough time to breath.
"What in the world was that? Is that what step siblings now do?"
I felt an ache in between my legs and my pant was soaked. But how? It was dry when I wore them.
I dropped the book and decided to sleep like that. I didn't want to think any indecent thoughts.
I was sleeping peacefully when I felt a hand on the back of my thighs. I quickly opened my eyes to see the Alpha sitting beside me.
"Alpha..." I called out but he shushed me by placing a finger on my lips. His hand still caressed my thighs, going deeper and deeper in until he was at my waistline. I wanted to object with it felt too good.
Gradually, he pulled off my pants and spread my legs, my private part becoming bare to him.
"Alpha..." I moaned as he rubbed the wet, slick area.
"This is my revenge." He slid a finger inside...
And I woke up, panting heavily.
