"Did anything happen?" She asked, twitching her brow.

"No not at all, it's just that we've sent two maids already and they both said you didn't open up, they even said it seems you weren't around" Emily replied briskly.

"Is this how these maids behave? They came here and I was having my bath in the bathroom, I was shouting really hard telling them I was having my bath but they didn't even hear properly instead they went about telling people I wasn't around, oh wow!"

"It's not like that dear, please don't blame them, we knew you were inside, and they didn't your voice because the room is soundproof"

"You knew I was Inside then why are you in a hurry? Don't tell me you are suspecting me of something, or rather you do t trust me, it's okay’'

"No dear, that's not what I meant, I was only curious when they said you ain't in because you barely left the house, I'm not suspecting or accusing you"

"Fine, you shouldn't!" With that she banged the door, loudly making sure it sounded on their face.

"These maids are sure gonna land us in trouble, didn't they say she wasn't inside when they came and I almost believed it for a moment" Emily held her panting chest.



"How is it going?" Henry asked his mom.

"The messenger said she's on her way back, he managed to free her because Darien was busy preparing how to come to meet them at the supposed location"

"Hope you place the thing I gave you on her hair"

"Yes I did"

"She thought she was smart, she already went out to meet Dora just like we planned, and now they are just going to turn against one another"

"Mom, you are really good, how come you knew she'd go behind our back to tell Darien our plans?"

"I know her more than she knows herself, I knew she would do something to get back at us, but not to worry, after today they will know where they belong"

Afternoon

Darien walked

It's exactly 2 pm, the exact time they gave him. He stepped down from making his way towards the big tree standing at quite a distance.

As planned Alisha could be seen standing at the supposed place, he walked up to her.

"Hey?"

"Darien?"

"Alisha, is this really you? I was dead worried, I thought I would never see you again, I'm so happy you survived it" Alisha chuckled.

"Yeah, I survived it, you thought I was gonna die? Hell no Darien, I can't just die like that, I can't leave my son for a random lady to trample on"

"What are you saying Alisha, you know I can never do that"

"I know, but they will be here anytime soon, you should play along."

"Fine, I will."

Almost immediately Henry arrived with his mom.

"Long time no see Darien, although you've always known I was alive, I was the one you saw in this hospital, no doubt" Emily jibbered.

Alisha quickly moved back from Darien.

"Yeah, I've always known, and I knew this day would come"

"Don't get it all wrong, I know what you are up to, even before you started"

"I've been waiting for this day for ages, now there's no going back, funny enough you came alone."

Emily turned to Alisha.

"Now burn him, do this and we will help you get back at your husband who tried killing you" she ordered.

Alisha turned back to look at Darien, she clenched her hands just the way Henry's mom thought her.

She twisted her hands like she was going to throw him the fireball she created but then directed it at Darien, they almost thought she would throw it at Darien but then she turned unexpectedly and threw it at Henry.

The ball touched him but nothing happened, they both looked at him hoping to see him get burnt but nothing happened, and his mom soon broke into annoying laughter.

"Oh woo, I knew it, I knew it would turn out this way, I knew she was pretending all along, I knew you never lost your memory, and as for Darien, we know everything he's been up to with Dora, I know of how Alisha came to your place to tell you everything that happened, how she called Henry to get words out of her mouth, how she called Alisha and all she did, we knew all of it, we just allowed you all to keep fooling yourself, and just like we expected you fell for it, Darien thought he has won, but winning is not that simple, not when I'm alive"

"You mean you knew everything all along?" Alisha asked, looking shocked.

"Yeah, I knew every single thing, and as for Dora, don't think she's on your side anymore, I've done something to her once again, just you wait till she comes to testify against you"

"And what makes you think you can beat me? What makes you think so?"

"How I wish you knew what I have in stock for you, then you would probably be crying your eyes out by now"

"Let's see how that goes," Darien smirked.

Darien took Alisha by the hands and turned to leave.

"Mom should I do the needful?"

"No, let them go, I have s better plan for them"

Henry chuckled as he watched Darien leave with Alisha.

"Don't worry, this is the final stage of our suffering, if we don't win now then we'll never win again"

"Have you heard from the messenger?’'

"Yes, they've arrived"

"Now we've proven to her that we didn't abandon her, with her still by our side we will get the throne with ease"

"But Mom you know I don't like Sandra, how do you expect me to have her as my Luna"

"It's okay, you are only using her, once we have achieved the necessary things, we will get rid of her. Don't worry about her”
