Lucy
The pleasure was too much. I couldn’t think. For a long time, all I saw were stars. Then, they were looking down at me with softly glowing red eyes.
“Happy birthday, Lucy,” Tony whispered.
Matt leaned over and kissed me softly. “Happy Birthday.”
The door opened, and I pulled the blankets up over me. Tony cocked an eyebrow at me as Matt smirked and sauntered into the room. They were both dressed nicely. Tony’s hair wasn’t as neat as usual.
“Wh–What’s going on?”
“We’ll have to play a little more later,” Tony said, eyeing me. “Though this time, it’ll be my hand between your legs.”
My face burned as Matt went to the closet, opened it, and started rifling through it.
“I know I put it in the basket….”
Tony crossed the room and stroked my cheek. “Are you okay?”
I nodded quickly. He chuckled. “I’ll run you a bath. We’re going out tonight. It’s about time you got to enjoy being an adult, don’t you think?”
I frowned. “I’m… only eighteen.”
“Adult enough.”
Tony went to the bathroom. I heard the bathwater running, then I smelled whatever he was putting in the water. It smelled nice, mature, and a little sweet.
Matt groaned. “I thought you said they were out!”
Tony came back with a grin. “They put a rush on it.”
He looked at me. “Are you going to get in, or… should I bathe you?”
My jaw dropped in horror. I slipped out of bed and rushed towards the bathroom. He stopped me, wrapping his arm around my waist and lifting me up to kiss me.
“Cheater,” Matt said from across the room.
Tony chuckled. “Go on. I’ll let Matt bring you your clothes.”
I darted inside the bathroom. I wanted to wait until Matt came, but I didn’t want the water to get cold. I stripped quickly and slipped underneath the mountain of bubbles on top of the water just as Matt opened the door.
He wrinkled his nose. “Shame. I’d hoped to get a peek.”
I slipped lower into the tub as he hung up a sparkly dress near the door. He set a strapless bra and what looked like a small pile of lace beside it. Then, he crossed the room, leaned over, and stole a kiss.
“Take your time. Tony’s on another call.”
Matt slipped out of the bathroom, but I could hear them both in the bedroom. I washed quickly and got out to get dressed. The pile of lace looked like underwear, but it covered absolutely nothing. I tried not to think about it.
They weren’t going to hurt me. This was just something they liked. Something they wanted to see me in.
Maybe something they planned to take off of me tonight?
My face heated, and I slipped into the dress quickly. When I came out, Matt beckoned me across the room. I could hear Tony outside in the hallway.
He pulled me into his lap and kissed me before slipping a pair of high heels onto my feet.
I bit my lip. “I don’t know how to walk in these.”
He frowned. “What do you mean?”
“I’ve… never worn high heels before.”
He groaned and slumped. “But… You can’t….”
He sighed and lifted me out of his lips. “Fine! Plan B.”
He set me back in the chair and took the shoes off.
“I’m sorry,” I said.
He stopped and looked back at me. “There’s nothing to apologize for. You’ll learn.”
He sighed. “I guess we were a bit too excited anyway–”
“You were too excited. I told you that,” Tony said, stepping back into the room. He eyed me and smirked. “The dress looks good on you. You’ve gained a bit more weight.”
He sat beside me as Matt came back with socks, a leather jacket draped over his arm, and a pair of low-heeled boots. He looked so unhappy as he put them on my feet.
“This isn’t really your aesthetic,” Matt huffed.
“Well, we can’t put her in a white gauzy dress and a crown of flowers,” Tony scoffed.
Matt pulled me to my feet. It was weird being a little taller, but the shoes were comfortable. He put the jacket on me, and I realized that it only fell to just below my bust line.
He huffed. “You are not a biker babe.”
“She looks adorable. Let’s get going.”
The ride to the bar was quick. Again, I didn’t recognize the place. It wasn’t as loud as I expected. They led me towards a table and left me there, saying something about getting drinks.
“Who the fuck are you?”
I looked up at the abrasive voice. A blonde woman shoved me in my shoulder. Another woman splashed a drink in my face.
“What do you–”
“I don’t know who you think you are, but if you think you’re going to edge me out of Matt’s life, you’ve got another thing coming.”
“Who do you think you are?” The other one asked, shoving me. “Get up!”
I pulled away from them. The blonde one grabbed me and pulled me out of my seat. I fell to the ground, and I felt another cold drink fall on my head.
One of them grabbed my hair and yanked it back.
“I’d better not see you with Tony again,” the blonde one said. “If he doesn’t call me back, I’ll be looking for you.”
Her eyes glowed softly, and her teeth seemed sharper than normal. She had to be a werewolf too. I was so scared. I didn’t know what to do or say, so I didn’t move. She let my hair go. The other one glared at me with glowing eyes then they disappeared back into the crowd. Matt returned with a smile and a set of drinks. He frowned.
“What happened? Why are you on the ground?”
I didn’t say anything. I got up, brushing off the bits of ice. I was so sad.
“I have to use the bathroom.”
“Lucy–”
I pushed through the crowd and headed toward the bathroom. I glanced back and found that neither Tony nor Matt was nearby, so I turned and went for the exit. I didn’t want to be here anymore.
“Watch it!” A familiar voice growled at me.
I stumbled back as the thin man turned. It was my adoptive father. He looked terrible. His clothes were ragged. He narrowed his eyes, and then his eyes lit up. I tried to back away, but he grabbed my arm with more strength than I expected.
“You look better,” he said. “You’ll probably sell for more this time.”
I tried to pull back, but I couldn’t get free of him.
Then, he was snatched away from me. A pair of familiar arms wrapped around me, pulling me back against a solid chest as Tony stepped in front of me, grabbing him by his shirt.
“Stay away from our mate!”
Tony’s clothing ripped to shreds. Then, Matt’s followed. Bright white fur sprung out of their skin. They landed on the ground as two large white wolves, growling and snapping their jaws at my adoptive father.
