Harry and Arianna - Chapter 8 - You're Not Ready Yet
Harry and Arianna - Chapter 8 - You're Not Ready Yet
It was the evening before their Thanksgiving trip, and Arianna was meticulously double-checking her packing list.
"You're a nerd," Harry teased, entering their bedroom.
"How you figure?"
"Let me see this packing list of yours," he demanded, snatching the list out of her hands. He plopped down on the bed and dragged her down with him, securing his arms around her. "You have an Excel sheet with your outfits planned for every day, right down to the jewelry and shoes. Don't you think that's a little neurotic?"
"Speak for yourself," Arianna huffed, snatching her sacred list out of Harry's hands. "I am trying to stay organized so that I don't overpack and go over the 50-pound weight limit for my bag."
"We're flying private. The weight limit isn't that important."
"Says the man who is bringing three large suitcases with him," Arianna scoffed.
"Two of them hold work supplies."
"And by 'work supplies, ' you mean guns," Arianna air-quoted.
"That's the most absurd thing that has ever left your mouth," Harry accusingly mocked.
"Uh-huh."
"Is all of your schoolwork done?" Harry asked, quickly changing the subject.
"It is. I plan on using this vacation for relaxing only. Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure," Harry replied, rubbing his hands up and down Arianna's smooth thighs.
"Why did you change your mind about bringing me?"
"I figured it would be a great opportunity for us to bond and spend time with one another," Harry lied.
"You'll actually get to spend time with me?" Arianna questioned in disbelief.
"Yep. I just have to mix a little bit of business with pleasure. You understand, right?"
"I understand."
"Great. Let's discuss some ground rules. Do not ask me where I'm going or when I'll be coming back. The less you know, the better. When I am working, you are on lockdown. You are not to leave the villa for any reason. Do you understand?"
"But what if I want to go on a tour or something?"
"Then you can't go. Honestly, the concept isn't difficult to grasp. I'm not there; stay your little ass in the villa. Am I going to have any trouble out of you? Tell me now, and I'll leave you here."
"No...I won't be any trouble," Arianna mumbled.
"Good. Also, don't talk to strangers."
"Anything else?"
"It's legal for you to drink in Mexico. Please don't overdo it. I don't want to be put in the position where I have to carry my sloppy, drunk partner back to the room."
"Awwwww, would that be embarrassing for you?"
"Extremely," Harry admitted.
"I'm sorry, but I plan on getting white girl wasted."
"I was afraid of that," Harry replied with a heavy sigh. "I'll let you finish your Type-A packing. Don't stay up too late," he said before sliding her off his lap.
"I won't," Arianna agreed, releasing a small yawn. "I'm pretty much done. I'm going to shower and hit the hay. Goodnight, Harry."
"Goodnight, Rose."
"Aht, aht!" Arianna shrieked as soon as Harry began walking away.
"What's your problem?" he challenged.
"You're forgetting something," Arianna purred.
"Right."
Harry returned to Arianna and delivered a quick kiss to her cheek, leaving her flustered and insecure. She had been greenlighting Harry and made a point to kiss him on the mouth when they exchanged kisses. She didn't understand the cause of the regression.
Harry noticed the stormy look in Arianna's eyes and decided it was best to take his leave.
"That one was a freebie," Harry growled as he rubbed the back of his head from the tennis shoe Arianna threw at him.
"You're a pussy!" she shouted at him.
Harry whirled around and stormed towards Arianna. Her eyes widened in fear, not knowing what Harry would do to her. He grabbed her by the back of her neck and pulled her close until their noses were touching.
"You have no idea how much self-restraint I'm showing with you. I'm a grown man, Arianna; therefore, I fuck like a grown man. Trust me, you're not ready. Keep it up, Arianna, and I'll have you waddling around here fat as fuck with my child. Leave me alone, and go to bed," Harry growled in her face before releasing the tight grip he had on the back of her neck.
Tears welled in Arianna's eyes once Harry left the bedroom. She wasn't crying because he scared her, or because he was a little rough with her. Arianna was crying because her panties were flooded, and she felt like a cat in heat. She was two seconds away from telling Harry, "Fuck it up, Daddy."
"Fuck him," Arianna sniffed before entering the bathroom.
Harry fitfully tossed and turned while in bed. After his tiff with Arianna, he didn't return to the bedroom and sequestered himself in a guest room. He hoped she didn't hate him, and his behavior didn't put a damper on their trip. The truth was, Harry was barely holding it together around Arianna. She had been bold with her affection lately, and her sensuous kisses left him yearning for more. He had been curious about what she had purchased from the lingerie store and rifled through her shopping bag when she wasn't looking. He had to avoid her for the remainder of the day because he couldn't stop fantasizing about what she was wearing underneath her clothes. Harry appreciated the effort, but just seeing Arianna in one of his shirts that she wore to bed every night was enough to put him in the mood. Her tiny nipples would jut against the fabric, and he knew for certain she didn't wear panties to bed. He discovered that one night when he reminded Arianna that she hadn't grabbed panties from her dresser before her shower. Arianna explained she didn't wear panties to bed because she needed to "let her kitty cat breathe." Harry didn't know anything about her kitty cat breathing, but he sure knew he could make it purr.
Harry rolled out of bed and went to fix himself some calming tea, hoping the tea would settle his nerves and his mounting sexual frustration. He let out a groan of discontent when he stumbled across Arianna in the kitchen.
"What are you doing out of bed?" he questioned.
"What are you doing skulking around in the dark?" Arianna fired back.
"I'm not skulking. I wanted a cup of tea."
"I see great minds do think alike," Arianna giggled as she set the kettle on the stove. "Would you like something sweet to go with your tea?"
Harry wanted to tell Arianna he wanted her to go with his tea, but he refrained.
"I'll take a slice of pumpkin loaf if you don't mind."
"Good choice," Arianna chirped as she retrieved a knife from the utensil drawer.
"You're not going to sleep tonight, are you?" Harry accused.
"Probably not. I'm too hyped up. This is my first time leaving the country. I'll probably crash on the plane."
"That's all good news. Can we talk?"
"About?"
"Earlier?"
"Are you referring to when you went all caveman on me?"
"Yeah, sure."
"We don't need to talk. I received your message, and I don't require an apology. Just don't get your feelings hurt too much when I start looking for outside dick."
"Excuse me?" Harry asked in disbelief.
"You heard me," Arianna replied, taking the kettle off the stove. "I have certain needs, and my partner refuses to meet those needs."
"You would cheat on me?"
Arianna chuckled and poured the steaming water into Harry's teacup.
"I wouldn't consider it cheating. We're clearly in a platonic relationship. I hope you enjoy your tea," Arianna wished before making her exit. Harry could feel his blood boil, but he was able to talk himself down. Arianna was many things, but stupid wasn't one of them.
