Chapter 27 Alluring Access or Plot Twist?

Farsight! I just wish I could have that then today I won't be breaking my head of what was to come in the night for me. The sixth day had successfully managed to roll in and needless to say, these days though have emotionally draining for me; but I can't hesitate to say that they have been equally good too.

Reason was of course, the only person laying in my arms playing with my shirt buttons as we enjoyed on the mini couch kept in my office.

Last day, was one of the most beautiful day for me in years. I know I should be counting the other moments with Serena too, but it was something about yesterday that managed to ease few fears out of my mind. Maybe, because I was present with my family from my heart and soul that managed to lure away my worries.

Worry that I haven't slept a wink in years. It wasn't something I will ever like to discuss with anyone, but the pounding headache I suffer every night due to the constant flashback of the past, is something I have no control on.

She keeps on haunting me with her shrilling laughter, her venomous words while I just listen to her helplessly in the same way, I heard her on my graduation night.

I wanted to scream, yell, fight, cry for myself but I don't have guts to do anything. I was and I am still afraid to recall that day. I wonder the plan Serena has in her mind for the last two days, thinking of which I realize that I need to ask her something.

"Serena". I called stroking her hairs gently as she was busy snuggling on my chest feeling the warmth of my skin.

"Hmm!" She just made a feeble sound, not raising her head. At first, I just thought that she was stoked from yesterday's fun, but something seemed off since the moment she woke up this morning; hearing her phone ring. I have seen her body go rigid which was so not like her.

Her behavior was suspicious. She was clinging to me for her dear life, like she was afraid that I will slip away from her fingers.

"What is wrong? Is everything alright?" She raised her head finally. Her face was little pale, but yet she was trying to plaster a smile on her lips for me.

She nodded giving me a big fake smile. I felt my inner trust on her slowly and steadily, slipping away and I wasn't able to hold it. Whose call can make her behave this insecure? Can she be hiding something dangerous from me?

Her phone buzzed and her face turned serious once again, as if a deep turmoil started to rise up in her system.

"Why don't you receive the call?" I pestered wanting to know the running fiasco with her. I can bet with my instincts, that the tsunami has started already; only the destruction was left.

"Am..it's not important. And I don't want to be away from you, Darling. I have got only two days with you right?" She shrugged my query with her lie but still adding the last part to remind me of our decided deal that we made on the second day.

Standing up from the couch, she was continuously fidgeting with her knotted fingers while I was trying to gauge her mind. Something has definitely happened, but what? But the most important thing was if it did then why hasn't she told me yet? Possibilities, back to back started to make their way in my mind, as I kept my gaze fixated on her.

"You know, you don't have to leave me but you can make a compromise here." She stare at me keenly, trying to comtemplate the meaning behind my words. I wanted to play safe here, if I desired to get the truth from her.

"If by tomorrow, I don't open up then you know clearly that we won't be heading towards the physical intimacy, not because I don't love you, but due to the apprehensions I have in my mind regarding it. Are you willing to stay only Nathan's mother, all your life?" There I put my words very carefully trying to be damn calculative as well as shrewd. I might seem a douchebag here, after the things I promised her yesterday, but this morning things weren't the way they were yesterday. I was worried about her being something else than she has promised me to be; and if that happened then I don't know how was I going to survive another betrayal.

Serena was at some breaking point, and I can feel it with the way her eyes roamed over my face, trying to see through me. She was in deep thoughts, as if her mind was running some errands without even being on the destined work.

I stood up from the couch, standing in front of her. Her body was screaming tension and for the first time since our meeting, I felt that she didn't wanted to be near me. Like, she was afraid that I will read her hidden secret in her soul.

Gripping her shoulders, I managed to gain her attention whilst her eyes lowered suddenly. Her features which always were bold and shouting a I don't care attitude, resembled to the grief stricken person who was deep drown in guilt.

Before I knew it, she hugged me tightly hiding her face in my chest whilst I stood there taking in her warmth. She was clutching my shirt tightly on my back, while after a long internal battle I finally wrapped my arms around her.

"I am ready to be whatever you want. Just don't push me away from yourself. I won't be able to live without you, Daniel. I love you so much". She mumbled against my chest. I was totally moved by her tone, but my mind which has been alerted by her actions since the morning was finding it hard to concentrate.

We were still holding the other; maybe trying to fight the thoughts lurking in our minds, when my phone buzzed bringing me out of my trance.

Pulling away from Serena, I didn't miss her flicking nerves as I picked out my cell from my pocket. I took a side glance at her, and her eyes were casted down.

"Yes, Ms. Karina. How may I help you?" I received the call, keeping my eyes fixated on Serena, as she relaxed hearing my words. Ignoring her for a while, I concentrated on the call and what I heard, made me curse under my breath.

"I am coming right now. And sorry on Nathan's behalf". I apologized in a heavy tone. Serena's eyes snapped in my direction as I passed her an angry glare.

Pushing my cell back in my pocket, I retrieved my jacket from the couch while Serena watched me keenly.

"Nathan has gotten in a fight. We need to go to the school now. It was his teacher's call". I explain gathering my keys while she gaped in shock, and then started to laugh like I sang a lullaby to her.

"He is taking after you, isn't it?" She teased in her usual self surprising me, because a few minutes back she was literally ready to cry. I can only say that she was certainly a good actor and mind manipulator. Ignoring her, I scurried out of the room, followed by her close.

If someone would have told me few days back that I would be covering, forty five minutes drive, in record eighteen minutes, then I would have certainly laughed at that person's face; but now when I stood in front of the school, I realized that I have really broken speed rules today. But who cares, it's about my son.

Without even glancing at Serena, I stepped out of the car. Running to the corridor, I was instantly greeted by the sight of the tall lady's back whom I assumed to be Ms. Karina while three kids stood in the corner.

"Mommy. Dad!" Nathan shrieked in excitement, almost running to us. Serena embraced him, while I gave him a glare to which he gave me a sullen look.

"Hello Mr. Price. Nice to see you again". Ms. Karina who saw us walked towards us with other two kids. The boys eyes were blue so I don't even have to contemplate the reason. Of course my boy did it. He sure is, Serena's son. Thinking of which, I turned to look at them, to seem them talking in hush voices. Probably, they were planning someone's downfall.

"Nathan. On your place now". I ordered in a Stern tone. Stomping his foot, he stood back near the girl, pulling her closer to him through her hand while his eyes gave another glare to the boy.

Seriously, was this another love triangle?

"Hello Ms. Karina. I am extremely sorry for the nuisance my son has caused". I began staring straight at her. Flipping her hairs on her one shoulder, she checked me out shamelessly as if Serena wasn't anywhere near her. Forget Serena, what about the kids?

"Ms. Karina, I think you have seen enough of Mr. Price. Care to explain us what occurred here?" Serena stood in front of me. Her possessive shield like figure glared at the female who instantly backed off giving us apologetic looks.

"Am.. Mrs. Price, it's so nice to see you. I didn't knew you were here too". The teacher feigned ignorance giving a light smirk to Serena. Serena crossed her arms over her chest, raising her brows at Karina's blunt lie; because let's not forget the fact that Nathan screamed for her.

"Ohh my, Ms. Karina poor you. Your ears are dying before age. You couldn't hear Nathan's voice calling out for me. That's so sad. My deep sympathies to you on your loss". Melodramatically, Serena showed her, her place making her look down in embarrassment while the kids chuckled.

I looked away to control my smile but having mercy on her, I showed my finger to the kids to stop them.

Ignoring, all I questioned Nathan, "What did you do? Why are this boys eyes blue?"

"I punched him".

"What??"

"Really baby? You punched. Wow! My boy is growing up so fast. Daniel, we are getting him in the martial arts classes soon. Our baby is gonna make us so proud". Serena praised him kissing his forhead while coughed alerting them to stop the drama.

"Thanks Mommy. I will definitely punch more if you say so". He replied caressing his fist.

"Nathaniel Daniel Price, I want you to explain this whole situation now or else you will be grounded for the entire weekend. No chocolates, no PSP, no movies, no fun. Did you hear it?" I finally gained my father's tone on him for the first time while he pursed his lips in a thin line, looking helplessly between Serena and me.

"I punched him because he upset my girlfriend by kissing her on her cheek. She didn't liked him, so I punched him because Mommy says we should protect the things we like or love. And she is my girlfriend so only I will kiss her" He explained geniusly while my eyes popped out of my sockets.

Ms. Karina and Serena began to blush profusely, while the small girl beamed at Nathan and as for the boy, he looked ready to kill.

"Girlfriend??" I almost yelled scarring all of them.

"She is girl plus I am her only friend, in the class so she is my girlfriend like I am her only boyfriend. Silly Dad, doesn't even understand simple words". He added sounding more convincing now and I got over my mini heartattack.

Can't believe today's kids can be so dangerous? But scrutinizing Nathan, I was clearly worried about him. He was going through these drastic changes and it was making me feel nauseated because I don't want him to go on a wrong path like me.

Taking a deep breath, I kneeled down in front of her, and gripping his shoulders I gained his entire attention. I knew he was taking all this in a funny way, but hurting someone intentionally isn't right.

"Nathan, always remember that you should never hurt someone intentionally. Everything can be sorted out with just few talks, but resorting to violence is illegal and unhealthy. We should protect what we love, but we shouldn't even break rules. You want to protect your friend, then tell your teacher here. She will explain to him to not do things which she didn't like but punching him or even justifying your actions after that isn't a very nice thing to do". I explained peeking a side glance at Serena as she was back to her nervous self again.

Her phone buzzed again and this time, the colour was draining out from her face much to my worry. Giving us an apologetic smile, she ran out not attending the call.

"Thank you for your time, Mr. Price." I simply nodded at the tall woman.

"Sorry Dad. I won't do it again. Promise". Nathan hugged me tightly while the small boy apologized to the girl, and ignoring him she held Nathan's wrist and took him inside the class followed by the other two audience.

Kids!!!

As soon as they were out of my sight, I was on my heels running out of the school. My eyes searched for Serena frantically in the parking lot, but on not spotting her anywhere, I ran towards the street.

I might have run a little when I saw her side figure talking to someone. But as I neared her, it looked more like she was threatening someone. Her tears were rolling out of her eyes while her body was shaking a little.

I wasn't able to see the person on the other side due to the pillar in the middle, this curiosity got the best of me, as I took long strides towards her but still making sure to not alert her.

I walked some more, and as the person's face came in view, my entire body froze right there. My eyes were not able to believe that I was once again reliving the trauma.

Mrs. Rodriguez!!!

Carolina's mother. A constant reminder of her daughter's existence. But what was she doing with Serena? Were they both playing me? But how does Serena know her?

Questions after questions spun in my mind, but my feet refused to move ahead. My heart was dreading of what was to unveil and I didn't have any patience to bear her treachery.

As I saw Mrs. Rodriguez leaving with a defeated look, I made my way back to the car not wanting her to know that I knew everything. Enough of the manipulation, Serena Waldorf. Now it was time for her to spill the truth that she has been hiding all this while.

After a few minutes, Serena joined me back in the car, while I gave her a devilish look but clearly my love for her was overpowering it. She gave me a fake, disgrunted smile while I beamed at her showing her just how excited I was when I was with her.

Irony being, I was really excited today to end all this facade for both of us. Tonight, will be the night to give a closure to this entire drama that began with Carolina but will end with Daniel murdering her.

And sacrifice won't be anyone else, but I myself.

"Well our plan for Disco is on tonight, isn't it?" I started the conversation with absolutely her style but inside I was least bothered about her plan of Alluring Access. I was more concerned about the plan of the Plot Twist that I was going to throw at her.

"Of course, My love. It's your final test today". She rested her head on my shoulder as I drove with a blank look on my face. In that second, I didn't trusted her or myself for that matter but tonight will be the night.

The seventh day will start, and I will blast all those fucking demons right in the darkness of the night. And if Serena is involved in it, then she has to pay for it too.

With the same flurry of thoughts, the night was around. Decked up in black I entered the Disco along with Serena, who was clad in a grey knee length dress luring every single eye but the most astounding fact of the night was, I was least impressed by her.

"I wish we could have brought Nathan too". She cribbed for the millionth time, since I declared her in the evening that Nathan will stay the night with Jenna. She didn't knew the plan running in my mind, and for that to succeed, I don't want Nathan to be around.

"He will do just fine with Jenna. You tell me, what did you wanted me to do here?" I pulled her into me by draping my arm around her waist. My grip was so hard that Serena's eyes pooled up with tears, but I didn't show any signs of mercy. I was drowned in my anger.

I didn't cared about her hiding about the things with her parents, but how dare she meet that woman whose daughter destroyed every single thing for me? Then instead of coming clean, she dare to lie to me.

I dragged her to the dance floor, pushing out few males in between whilst Serena's eyes scanned me keenly. I can see that she was thinking something hard, but I am not a prince here. I am a devil in the moment. Not her lovesick puppy Daniel.

Pulling her closer, I started peppering light wet kisses on her lips. My hands roamed over her seductive curves as I can sense the discomfort in her body.

"Am... I think I should tell you what you have to do!" Pushing me away slightly, she stated. I raised my brows at her, as I was waiting for this moment since the second I have heard her talking about today's scheme to Jenna.

"At your service, Ma'am". I bent down with a smirk lingering on my lips. I knew she was transfixed by my actions but it was now or it was never.

"You'll have to seduce a girl here. I mean attract her to yourself by close dance". She stated her demand a little hesitantly from all the times and I knew there, the reason of this plan was that she wanted to test my behavior with the females now. It was one of those steps on her part as my lover, to be assure of my loyalty, passion and dedication towards her. But on a deeper instance, through this step she wanted me to get rid of my fears of being close to another gender.

To be more precise, Serena didn't wanted me to be afraid of anything not even getting close to any girl. I was amazed by her thoughtfulness on this, because generally it was a positive point for her that I will not be attracted towards another woman, but she was still posing this test infront of me, to show me that I can be faithful to her as well as myself.

"Sure Darling. Anything for you". I said kissing her lips little harshly. Giving her sly look, I made my way not to one woman, but to an entire group.

I saw her soft gaze turning into little furious one as she wasn't expecting this unexpected move from me.

I danced as close as I can with those girls while they didn't leave any chance to throw themselves on me. I was hating this close proximity, but it was necessary to bring her on the edge. I wanted her to make a mistake of taking in a shot so that the things her conscious mind is denying to reveal, will be revealed by her drunken stupor.

I eyed her from the corner of my eyes, as I purposely buried my head in the crook of a girls head while she kissed me on the jaw. I felt disgusted with her touch, but I reminded myself to play safe. This is what she wants.

Like I wanted, seeing me extremely close with all the girls, she marched up to the bar. I gave a pat to myself.

There you go my girl!

To tame the fox I became the wolf.

I danced with the group for some more time, but my eyes were fixated on Serena who was now about to take in the first shot. She wouldn't have expected me to backfire her plan, but this is what you get Waldorf for playing with my head. You knew I hate lies now, yet you went behind my back to meet that woman.

As the night progressed further, the atmosphere in the Disco became more wild and erotic. People were shamelessly making out in the middle, some looked ready to lay on the floor, while others were in full mood to get drunk.

And for Serena, she was already drunk but still sane enough to spill what I want her to speak.

Time for actions and reaction!

"Excuse me. My time is up here". I excused from the bunch of horny teenagers as they were not ready to leave me. But without even taking another glance at them, I made my way out from the circle.

Daniel enters the space, when he wants, and leaves it, when he likes.

"What the hell he thinks? Dancing so closely to that chicks like he was about to strip them out. Asshole. Here, I only wanted him to show his own control over that pleasurable attraction, but that douchebag. How dare he?" I heard Serena's little slurry tone, as I reached near her. Smirking to myself I removed the whiskey glasses away.

She drank four small glasses, enough for her to loose.

"Give my drink." She fought back as I held her elbow, ready to take her back home.

"You had enough. Let's go now".

"No. You go to those chicks. I want to drink more".

"You are coming with me. And that's final". I gave her a Stern look.

"You left me for them so leave me even now". She argued whatever came in her mind.

"I didn't left you, you yourself asked me. You are slight drunk so let's go because I am not leaving you here alone. Do you get me?" She looked rest to cry, but didn't uttered a word. Taking the cue, I scooped her up in my arms as she giggled like a child.

I felt her lips on my jawline, throughout the while I carried her till the car and even after that, as I drove us home, she was clinging to me like a glue.

"I will remove their touch forever". She bit my cheek hard and I killed the intense desire to slam my lips on to hers. I felt like ravishing her tonight, but it wasn't going to happen with both of us lying to the other.

Once I parked the car, I lifted her again in my arms. She was still pretty much in her sense, because I saw a serious look on her face. She was drunk but not that high that she won't remember anything that was perspring between us.

I entered our home, straight away marching to our room while Serena buried her head in the crook of my neck.

"You won't leave me, if I trouble you now?" She inquired in a puppy tone. I laid her on the bed as she kept on gazing at me with her eyes brimming with tears. I wanted to lash at her, but I let her carry on with her questions; maybe she was finally giving in.

"No".

"You won't leave me if hit you now?"

"No". I covered her with the blanket whilst my heart was racing faster than needed. Speak up,

"No". I covered her with the blanket whilst my heart was racing faster than needed. Speak up, Serena. You have to disclose.

"You won't leave me if I tell you that I have lied to you?" My body became rigid as the doubt in my mind became true. Why did you do this to me?

Wanting her to spill the lie, I answered half heartedly, "No".

"You won't leave me if I tell you that the girl who ruined you was my sister".

My rigid body straightened as my dark eyes looked into her serene ones. Words to refused to come out of my throat, while with every second, I felt my eyes becoming hotter and hotter with the blood that was seeping in my every muscle.

I moved towards her in one long step, pulling her up through her both shoulders, I yelled at her in my shrilling angry voice that was enough to even scare the ghosts of the night.

"What the hell are you saying, Serena? Have you gone mad?"

"What do you mean by the sister of the one who destroyed me?"

She looked at me with guilt stricken face, and spoke lowering her eyes, "The girl you love is the sister of the one who destroyed you".

"I am Carolina's Sister!"

Nooo!!!
