**CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE.**
Sex was definitely not overrated. I couldn't get enough of Draken throughout the night. We had fucked for over four hours and eight rounds until I didn’t have a single drop left to spurt. On the other hand, Draken stamina was a limitless fountain who kept edging me on with his soothing voice that managed to bristle me. I loved the sex. However, I wasn't built like Draken. My bones gave up on me easily.
We only got two hours of sleep before we had to wake up and get ready for school. Draken offered to drop me at my dorm for a change of clothes, so we were currently in his car. My hips and vagina felt like they'd been through a meat grinder, but weirdly, I didn't mind. In fact, I loved it.
I sent a message to Karina once we were close to my hostel. She replied immediately, confirming she was still at the dorm, but would soon be leaving.
“Is that your roommate?” Draken asked as I was about to type a response back to Karina, acknowledging her message.
I nodded. “My friend, but also my roommate, Karina,” I replied. “I just asked if she was still at the dorm, and she said yes. She's preparing to leave for school.”
“Oh, she can tag along with us then,” he offered, surprising me with how open he was. I never expected Draken to be that type of guy, well, I never expected him to be a lot of things, but he was proving me wrong with every minute I spent with him.
“Cool,” I said with a smile as I quickly replied Karina, telling her to wait for me at the hostel so we'd leave together.
When we arrived, Draken parked right outside my dorm. I gave him a quick kiss before stepping out of the car. I couldn't help but notice the stares as I walked inside. It made me wonder if rumors were flying again, but I doubted it. Besides, Karina would've told me if anything was up.
I opened the door to find Karina on her bed, putting on a pink sock. The sight of her hopping around with one sock on made me chuckle.
"Where did you sleep?" She pounced on me as soon as I stepped in and closed the door behind me, one of Karina's legs was socked while the other flailed.
“What do you mean where did I sleep?” I tried evading her question as I headed over to my side of the bed.
I went through my dresser, unable to brush off Karina's judging stare which was beginning to laser through my skin.
With a sigh, I brought out a new set of undies and a white floral gown before tossing it on my bed as I turned to Karina and pulled off the maxi dress I borrowed from my sister's closet. “I stayed the night at Draken, are you satisfied now?”
She broke out into a smile. “I just knew it. I saw pictures on the internet,” she picked up her phone from the bed and shuffled towards me. She showed me pictures of Draken and I in the restaurant, and another when we were skating. Who was even taking these pictures? But at least now I knew why I was getting those weird stares in the hallway. “See. The pictures have been trending all across the school forum. Even E news got exclusive coverage! Is that you guys' way of making your relationship public?”
I blinked. I hadn't really thought about making my relationship with Draken Gallagher public. After all, we just started dating. But then again Draken was a public figure, so of course people were all over his business, including who he dated. It was only a matter of time before people figured us out. “I didn’t even think about it like that,” I said, pulling on the undies I'd picked out. “But Draken's kind of a public figure, so I guess it’s inevitable. It’s fine, though.”
“Well, I already told Yuri and Tennessee about you guys,” Karina continued as she sat on her bed. She picked up her second pair of socks and began to put it on with a bit of struggle. “Tennessee was freaking out, saying you'd lose your V-card soon. But seeing you limp this morning—”
“Wait, I’m *limping?” I cut her off, my voice rising.
“Oh, sweetie,” Her eyes twinkled mischievously. I felt like she was making a jest of me as she nodded. “You’re officially acquainted with the goodness of a dick. Welcome to the land of endless orgasms and ruined legs. Draken Gallagher, huh? He did you the honor of—”
I chucked my sister’s maxi dress at her face, shutting her up as she doubled over laughing. “Don’t even finish that sentence!” I warned, trying to fight off my embarrassment while zipping up my floral gown. “By the way, Draken’s waiting outside to give us a ride.”
“Wait, what?” Karina threw my — well my sister's, maxi gown to the floor as she looked at me with eyes comparable to a saucer. “Draken Gallagher is going to drive me to school?”
I nodded. “Exactly what I said. I didn't stutter.”
In a flash, she was running around the room, grabbing her bag and shoes like she was in the middle of a heist. “I'm ready! We cannot keep Draken Gallagher waiting!”
I laughed at her antics and grabbed a comb, running it through my hair before tossing it into a messy ponytail. Then, I threw a few books and materials that I'd be needing for my Phil class later in the day into my tote bag and we headed out. As Karina locked the door, someone walked down the corridor toward us.
It wasn’t until he stood in front of me that I realized it was Tyler.
“Hey, Eline, right?” he asked.
“Yeah. Hey, Tyler.”
He smiled. “I'm here for Karina.”
“Yeah, I kind of figured it out.”
“What are you doing here, Ty?” Karina sounded genuinely surprised. There was even a tint on her cheeks. My friend was down bad. “I wasn't expecting you this morning.”
Tyler smiled and kissed her cheek. “We had plans for breakfast, remember? I said I’d come pick you up.”
“Oh my God!” Karina shouted, but I completely tuned her out when my eyes found the black bead hanging from a chain around Tyler's neck. It gave me the same ominous feeling as last time.
The bead was glowing against the silver chain. What even striked me more confused was the tattoo on his neck. The one that looked like an animal being stabbed by a sword — it was also shifting gradually against his skin. The sword was moving. I felt like I was hallucinating.
“— Eline!” Karina's voice snapped back to reality.
I looked away from Tyler's tattoo and faced her, meeting her apologetic smile. I raised a questioning brow at her.
“As much as it pains me to miss a ride from Draken, I won't be able to go with you both. I have a morning date with Tyler,” Karina told her, giving me an innocent smile as she tugged on to Tyler's arm. She was looking way too happy as she clung to his arm.
“Jeez, it’s fine,” I replied. “We’ll catch up later at the dorm.”
“Definitely!” she grinned before walking off with Tyler.
I watched the two of them leave together and I couldn't stop thinking about what I'd seen. Tyler's moving Tattoo and the aura from the black bead was putting me on edge, it was alerting my cat tingles like never before. It felt like a dooming danger, one I needed to be aware of. It was giving me the chills.
